Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card
Cons:Nothing's cropped up yet

Pros:Easy install
Comment:
Bought this card to replace the onboard sound on an older machine (the 7.1 didn't hurt either). So far, it's done everything a basic level sound card should do. Since I wasn't looking for top notch performance, just something that could handle a moderate workout, I feel it was well worth the money.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card
Cons:microphone settings to simplistic making programs like teamspeak frustrating to use.

Pros:-cheap, easy install: both physically as well as the drivers and software, immeasurably better than on board audio
Comment:
Was experiencing some buzzing and clicking with my onboard audio, this card eliminated those issues. Also even though it is a budget card, the sound quality when gaming is a lot better than the onboard. I can actually hear guys sneaking up on me now when playing 2142! The first time i shot the gun on a tank i was shocked to hear how much better the sound was! In a previous review someone complained of no bass and treble control in the mixer however i found that their were both and they worked just fine. My only complaint is that when using teamspeak and Voice Over IP in games i have to use head phones as the mic is either on or off. I have to manually turn it on before playing each time and manually remember to turn it off afterwards. With my onboard i could mute the mic but still fire up teamspeak and have it work on autodetect mode. Overall it was the best spent 37$ with tax i have done in a while!

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card
Cons:Lack of software controlled Bass/Treble controlsNo Game port (older joysticks)

Pros:Easy installEasy software installDecent mixer/eq softwareSoftware integrates, is almost idiot-proof
Comment:
Got my card today, installed flawlessly, no issues. I noticed the lack of bass/treble controls in the mixer, and was a little shocked, but what can one expect from a $30 card. The software was easy to configure, and for the first time, I didn't have to tinker around in the control panel configuring my speakers. Much better than my Onboard, and still comparing to my old SB Live 5.1 Gamer. We shall see. I recommend this card for a low level system, or someone looking for a simple upgrade from the onboard.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card
Cons:- No hardware acceleration but hey... for 25$ you had to expect it.- The equalizer preset really suck. I don't know what they did but on the Audigy 2 ZS and my X-Fi the equaliser preset are awesome. So you'll need to make a custom one yourself. It's what I did and the "techno, hip hop" songs sounded awesome but metal song sounded quite ugly for most of them.

Pros:- Much better than Onboard AC97 for ~25$ only.- Handle up to 7.1 speakers.- EAX for your games- CMSS-3D with Surround Stero on 5.1 speakers really worth it.
Comment:
Overall it's really worth it over Onboard if you want decent quality without ruining urself for an X-Fi. However if you are mostly listening to Metal rather than song with bass, you should go for the Audigy 2 ZS...I would give it a 3/5 star but I give 4 only because of the price ratio.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card
Cons:entry level sound card

Pros:Easy installationbetter than onboard sound by a longshotdriver installation is easy7.1
Comment:
My boyfriend installed this in my computer because the onboard sound was causing a great deal of difficulty, too much background noise coming from it. Everything is working much better now with this card, he installed it within 10 minutes he was done. I recommend to anyone with onboard sound thats causing any issues.

My Girlfriend was getting an annoying hum on her onboard audio but she didn't want to RMA her MoBo so I purchased this soundcard and it fixed the problem. It was a small price to pay to keep her PC the way she liked it and the sound is better than her onboard audio.Great sound card for under $30.

Cons:price Vs quality

Pros:8channel, pci interface, no problem with driver
Comment:
this product is for people that need a 8ch soundcard when they don't have a mobo that already have it, because if you buy this one and your mobo already have 8ch keep it, this soundcard won't help you out on this.

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card
Cons:Software on the cd seems...bulky.

Pros:Great sound compared to an onboard audio....atleast for this price.Creatives auto update software from their site.
Comment:
This card is fairly basic. That said, ...- The price is good for a basic card with these features IMO- The sound is much better than on board audio.- On board audio requires more resources. So if your looking for something basic for sound get this, its by no means a miracle sound card but if you come from on board sound it makes a world of difference.I gave it 4 stars only because I would buy it again as a cheap alternative to onboard sound, not because its so great. Comment:
I got this card to replace my Onboard sound. I'm happy with it.I don't need an impresive sound card like the X-Fi. I just wanted a clear sound without electric interferences, and I got it perfecly.Warning: The card look to be not enabled in 96Hz/24Bits by default, go in Device Control to activate it.
