Great product
Comment:
This 680 GPS is great and love how it tell's me just where to go trun by turn. I just could not get lost. The only thing I don't like is the antena. I only wish it had a built in antena. It just wont work in my pocket without the antena open. Oh well, Still a great buy.

Excellent product/great deal
Comment:
I've only been using this Garmin for a month and it has more than met my expectations. Does the job and much more, and a great price from this site. With the laws changing re- cellphone use, it is a must to have the Bluetooth feature, which works very well. Found the suction-cup mount to be too weak to hold this item...wanted and got vent mount anyways. Overall, I'm very happy with this Garmin 680.

very happy, especally for the price
Comment:
I bought this device refurbished so the price was right. I love the MP3 player and FM modulation option so I can play over the stereo, music stops to let the unit give you directions so you aren't trying to hear it over the music. Some frustration finding an unused frequency. If by yourself not good to be changing stations regularly so would need to pull over. Map source software seems pretty good, I have attempted to create routes with it and upload to unit and can't find them, not sure if it isn't a function (the NUVI 750 came on for same price and may have this) or if I haven't figured out. Would like to be able to organize favorites as allot to scroll through over time eg soccer fields, POI's for a trip and haven't figured out if I can yet. Blue tooth is nice but if used with FM modulation over stereo it echos. Going to try the free 1 year subscription to MSN, seems more specific to major cities so not sure how effective will be. Overall very happy!

Excelent product
Comment:
I have used the MS Streets GPS on my laptop for many years for work travel through out North America. I was hesitant about going to a small screen. I purchased the 680 for a camping trip to the western national parks. - Never opened up the laptop or any paper maps. I should have bought this years ago! The MSN content works great in the areas they coverage.(Only in the larger metro areas.)

I have been using this product now for a few months. The navigation is quite good eventhough it doesn't give the shortest route sometimes. It is very reliable. Overall I am satisfied well with it.

My first GPS
Comment:
I purchased a refurbished unit with two dead pixels and I can't register it online. The store replaced it and now I can register it online. It works fine, meets my requirement at a cheaper price.

Good Garmin Unit but....
Comment:
As always Garmin does a great job with Navigation units - better than any other company. I bought the Garmin based on my experience with others we have at work. The user interface is great, and as always you do need to trust it and it will get you there. The window mount for this unit is NOT strong enough for the unit, and is prown to let the Navigation unit fall. Overall a 3.5 out of 5.

Great GPS unit!
Comment:
I made the switch from my cell phone navigation system to the Garmin Nuvi 600. I am very happy with this unit. It's very user friendly and you don't really even need to read the instructions. Just turn it on and go! I shopped online for a few days and this site had THE best prices. They were comparable to eBay and you get a warranty. I'm very happy with my Garmin and with this site.

This was our first GPS and WOW! The store was wonderfula nd so was the product. It took some learning, actually if i had simply read the directions, but the system really walked me through the basics. My husband loves the voices and cartoon vehicles. wish there were more. This is a wonderful deal

Garmin 680 GPS
Comment:
I got this unit for 2 reasons, price and the Bluetooth feature. The GPS unit itself is robust, the display is bright enough to see in direct sunlight, and the menu is pretty simple. The unit picked up the satellites almost instantly, and directions are clear and concise. Th Bluetooth hands free feature works correctly, but the built in mic tends to pick up ambient noises, so rolling up the windows while on the phone is a given with this unit. The MP3 playback feature, which apart from always having to access the music player front end through the Map view, this is really an added bonus with 500 MB of internal memory, you can also expand using SD cards. All in all Great unit and remarkable price point, the unit was refurbuished to new condition, with all accessories bagged and tagged like originals. Only minor trouble with refurb., the previous owner had already registered the product, I had to call Garmin to be able to get the free map update. MSN Direct is OK but not worth the money.

I'm glad I chose this one
Comment:
Has all the features I need, even some I don't. Bluetooth was the main reason I chose the Nuvi 680, along with the 4.3" widescreen. One bonus feature I like, that I didn't know it had, is when the unit is on, but not in navigation mode, it tells you the name of the upcoming street. Really helpful if you know which street you're going to, but unsure if it's your next street down or the one after. For example, it will show on the screen "Main Street ahead", then after you past Main Street it will quickly switch to the next upcoming street. This is a big feature to me. All in all, like my headline says, I'm glad I chose the 680. The service was awesome as well.

Good value at a fair price
Comment:
I needed GPS, Bluetooth, traffic updates and something to play MP3 through my older radio... this does all that and more. I bought mine refurbished and no problems yet, though I have had difficulty with refurb items in the past. That said their support and returns is great so it is worth the risk by far for the price savings. Garmin support is also very good.

Great product
Comment:
Love this GPS. Upgraded from the Garmin Streetpilot 330 and I love the bluetooth, the FM transmitter which works very well, the MSN service, and the option of an MP3 player for long drives which I can play through my car stereo. And the refurb was a great deal, like new, and included the map upgrade from Garmin. Finally, I had a perfect experience buying it.

Well worth the money
Comment:
I moved up from a Garmin 205 to this 608 and it was worth every dime. The picture is clear. The directions are great and it always gets me where I need to go, even with detours. My favorite features are the Bluetooth, it downloads your phonebook into the GPS for easy hands free phone calls. And the MSN (free for 1 year) shows me where the cheapest gas prices are for miles around. I think it will pay for itself in no time

GREAT
Comment:
I recently purchased the Nuvi 680 and it was working great, then as I tuned the Nuvi back on, the Bluetooth would not work at all. I called the store and I had a replacement in less than 2-days. I have checked it out and it works perfectly. Thanks!

Best price for the features
Comment:
Every feature including the blue tooth for the hands free phone works perfect. The only issue with the bluetooth and handsfree is when the audio is through the FM, there is an echo to the caller. The MSN subscription is nice, but only works in other areas and the weather is not very accurate.

Great value - Re-furbished is the way to go!
Comment:
Was spending $10 extra on every rental so decided to invest in this product. Came in with all the attachments and installation instructions + the free 1yr MSM update - pretty cool. Only disadvantage is that the free MAP upgrade from Garmin doesn't come with re-furbished models - but then none to the places I need to visit "moved" in the last year :)
