GARMIN nüvi 680 4.3" GPS Navigation

The Garmin worked great but the battery life is not as advertised. On a recent trip I forgot to bring the power plug but thought the battery life would last the trip. It did not. It went down in less than an hour. The Garmin operation however was excellent. The Blue tooth function worked well with my cell phone and handshaked without a problem. The FM wireless function with the radio worked well also which was a surprise. I have not had much luck with other FM devices getting a clear link with the radio.

The Garmin Nuvi 680 IS the best thing since sliced bread. I took a trip and the device lead me directly to the hotel without missing a beat (Or turn). Saves GAS too, No more getting lost. Plus the feature of telling you all the places to go for needs is great, Food, Gas, Historic Location, This thing does it all.. LOVE IT.

This product is great for the price and if you are a tecie who likes to save some cash then it is even better. Directions are clear and easy and it even got me out of a bad turn in a constution zone by taking me a rout that I would have never found with a map. Time does not change when you shift time zones and the thing that sticks to your windshield and holds it sometimes comes loose but I would not dive in a strange city without it. When it comes to walking in town it is a little bulky but a tekie saved enough money with this deal to afford that Iphone with GPS LOL. OVERALL GREAT BUY.

This is my second GARMIN GPS from this site and I could not be happier. It took less then one hour from box to dash and it worked like a dream. I'm so pleased with it I ordered one for my sister. Get one and you will not be disappointed. PS - Highly recommend getting the Bracketon Nav-Mat GPS holder, great for securing your GPS and not letting the thiefs know you have one.

Purchased the Nuvi 680 as my first GPS and was up and running with all the features, including the bluetooth and MSN direct within an hour. I couldn't be happier with the product.

Well, all I have to say is don't go by the online 'C-Net' reviews, what a pile of crap. They told me that the re-routing/recalculating of routes after a wrong turn took forever and wasted so much time and gas, NO WAY!!! This feature is fabulous and fast. Couldn't be happier!!! Not sure why Garmin stopped producing it? The add-ons are fun too from the Garmin website and I just updated my maps for 2009....FOR FREE!!!

works as advertised, easy to navigate, bluetooth connection to my cheap mobile is seamless, with address book and all. Multiple way points would be handy to set up the route that you want, but for a little over $200, this is a great deal.

Received unit in new condition, registered at Garmin site and downloaded newest software, Garmin garage screen icons, and unit came already factory loaded with 2009 maps. This is my second Garmin unit and could not be more pleased with its performance. You can not get a more versital GPS for this price anywhere. I highly recommend this unit.

I've owned two Garmins. The c320 and now the Nuvi 680. Garmin's GPS units are great. Seldom have they not given the correct guidance on where I wanted to go. I'm a road warrior and travel more than most. This is a great unit and buying the refurbished like I did, just makes alot of sense...
