This board was very easily installed and navigating it and the instructions was a breeze. I've only ever built one computer and this one was a replacement for the MSI K9N4 that blew out on me. I had no experience with Gigabyte before, but I would definitely buy them again. The dual bios feature seems to be a great idea, but hopefully I'd never need it! Super duper and super fast shipping!

Bought this mobo because of all its features and I was not dissapointed by its performance either. There is one HUGE problem with this mobo if you plan on hooking up a SATA hard drive though. You're going to need the drivers and there not found on the enclosed CD. Funny thing this mobo, when installing windows it asks for the sata drivers via a floppy disk. No floppy-good luck. I can't see how you're going to get the OS onto the HDD. Once I did a bit of fishing on the suppliers website via an extra computer, I was able to load the driver(s) on a floppy and the rest was a piece of cake. Bottom line, if you're going to install a SATA drive you must have a floppy attached. Get the drivers from the manufacturer and you won't bang your head for 4 hours like I did. You're going to love this mobo. If you aren't going to attach a floppy, get another motherboard or use an ide HDD. Otherwise you'll be buying a very pretty door stop.

Bought with a barebones kit and am pretty happy with it. Windows 7 ranks the integrated graphics chipset as a 4.1. It's OK but could be better. I will say it handles HD video and video editing very well. I have a Core2 quad system that I use for home video editing that cost twice as much as this sub $500 computer build I just did, and this computer finished a video compilation in 2 hours, 4 minutes, which took my $1,000 system 2 hours and 42 minutes. So when all is said and done, I'm surprised how well the graphics chipset performs compared to its rating. I really like the integrated LAN, HDMI port, and 7.1 Channel Audio. This is a great mobo for a home media center. I'm very happy with it.

This board with 8GB of memory and Ubuntu Linux, 64 bit operating system is working fine. Everything, including the on board video works well with Linux. I have had no problems. I am very happy with this board.

Pros: 1. Unlocked my Phenom II x2 550 BE(dual core) to a Phenom II x4 B50(quad core). This is with the F2 bios. 2. Overclocking is a breeze. 3. Works right out of the box. Cons: Only 1 problem, if u have a 2 slot video card, a couple of the SATA ports will be blocked off, unless u only need 2 then you'll be fine. But other than that, i recommend this product. If you're debating on buying this, STOP. JUST BUY IT, you wont regret it. Thank You both this site and Gigabyte.

Bought this motherboard with a AMD Phenom X4 and 4G of ram everything works great reccomends a 500 watt powersupply which seemed high I hooked my old 350 watt up to it and it works fine so far. Overall great motherboard much more durable than other boards I have worked with which is always a plus. Overall a great board with very easy installation and operation.

My dad and i decided that we both wanted to rebuild our computers. so we ordered these motherboards. Installing everything was kind of a hassle do to drivers and such. btw the fan on the cpu is crazy my cpu is always at 95 degrees. The fan is spinning at 1912 RPM with over clock also the software it comes with control the over clocking and the fan speed and everything is changable

bought this with am3 athlon II x4 620, and 4 gigs or ram. works like a dream. I just wish there was a fan on the north bridge heat sink, it has a header for one so i just put my own on it.

good board.. will run on a 430W power supply if you aren't an insane gamer.. the ATI sound and video drivers can be stubborn on install.. but overall the product works fine... I got the athlon II x4 620 AM3 bundle, both work great together

The first MB I received was faulty which I attribute to a defective hard drive controller. I couldn't complete the installation of Vista Ultimate after many tries. An RMA was courteously and efficiently done. The replacement board arrived quickly and works fine.

This board has everything and worked like a charm when first fired up. I do not overclock, just use it as it is and it works great. Lots of ports for every need. An excellent value for building a first class computer.

The onlt issue I had was with the itegrated graphics. I installed windows 7 64bit. the drivers on the DVD didn't work and for some reason the ATI page for this paricular IG chip would dispaly with an error. The solution was to bring windows 7 up in low res. and unstall the graphics card using control panel and then ask windows to find and install new hardware. It worked. 64bit is still lagging in support.
