Installed easily, the connectors are in convenient locations, it started right up and ran like a champ. I've rarely had such an easy installation. Recommended.

dont ask why! ask why not!
Comment:
The main reasons I went with this was the 3 year warranty, 5 sata headers for future use and am3 compatibility. as well as the four slots for memory, (I think 16 GB) of ram. This was heads above the other mobos in the price range and I am glad I bought this in the bundle. I havnt purchased a computer in about 7 years so I am amazed at how well this mobo works with the other components. I am so glad I didn't but an already assembled POJ from the warehouse clubs. and thier lame 12-24 month waranty. this MOBO rocks. going strong for a month now.

Good for Windows 7
Comment:
I put this in an old case with a new power supply (with AMD you need good power). It worked right away. This is a work computer, not for games, and it's very quiet because Windows 7 knows about all the newest motherboard and chip features and can slow the chip to 5 % capacity when I'm just typing or browsing and it stays cool with less fan noise. It lets me use XP mode in 64 bit windows 7 which is great for old hardware and software.

Don't purchase this board
Comment:
This is my fourth build this year and decided this would be a good board for a mid range computer. It has been nothing but trouble. As of tonight I still haven't got a reply from the company it's been 10 days of attempting to contact them. It should pull it from this website. As of now it's not going to be ready for Christmas.

Bundle
Comment:
Got this board in a bundled package. Initially looked good, went together fine and ran reasonably well for just under 90 days. Sins then, Blue screens and crashes. Gigabytes customer service and Tech support are non responcive. would not suggest this product or manufacturer to anyone.

Good board, but get ready to return it!
Comment:
Blue screen, blue screen, blue screen..... For the price, a very decent board, feature loaded..... The BIOS features (SATA management) needs a bit of work. Not for beginners to install...... Just try to look for another one!

Pretty good
Comment:
Received it after a week, hooked it up and booted first time. Had no problem running 64-bit windows 7 and the on-board video makes movies look great on my flat-screen. Not for gaming, but with the pci-e 2.0 pop in a stand alone video card and you got yourself a pretty good platform for a HTPC or Gaming rig.

Good buy, some reservations
Comment:
Great price, super features. My main complaint is that SATA connectors are flimsily attached and break off easily. If you're running 64-bit don't use the installation CD until you've downloaded the AMD 64-bit drivers from the Gigabyte web site, otherwise you'll have problems with drivers like I did.

VERY EXPANDABLE!
Comment:
I bought this board about 2 months ago and I have been so impressed! I started with 2 gigs of RAM and eventually will go up to 8 gigs. With on-board HDMI it was simple to connect my big screen to my machine. This was a great deal!

seemed great but died within 2 weeks!!
Comment:
I bought this as part of barebones kit, installed it, ran great for 2 weeks. Then, suddenly, it just turned off and has refused to do anything since. I am currently in the process of trying to get a new one, but 2 weeks after filling out their RMA form, still haven't heard back. Would not buy this again.

Don't Buy This One !!!!
Comment:
I have bought numerous bare bone computers from Tigerdirect, but this is flawed. Tower doesn't come with cooling fans, mobo doesn't come with standups. Would have been nice to recommend this as they did with the cpu fan. After purchasing these, I spent more and got less!!!

Does the minimum
Comment:
Now that I've installed this economical MOBO, I'm satisfied it does minimum required. HTPC box for the 42 inch LCD TV in the livingroom. No Games.

Great value for the price
Comment:
I purchased this board with Athlon II X2 240 CPU and it's a great deal as long as you're satisfied with the capabilities of this board. Lots of features but only two PCI slots, but that shouldn't be much of a problem if you go in with your eyes open. But, this board did not play nice with two (different brands) USB 802.11n wireless adaptors; in fact one just blew away the USB bus and I had to reload Windows 7. I ended up using a PCI 802.11g board until I can get a n-board. All-in-all not top of the line, but a great value for the price.

Just OK!
Comment:
Sorry, but I can't rave about this one. Gygabite makes awesome boards, but this one is too cheap and I should no better. I build systems for a living and I like to use slots for alternative devices like Video, Sound, and other quality products. As a rule, Video and Sound take up power from the mainboard and they are not always the best quality. I reduce the stress on the main board to allow it to function faster. Slot cards may pull current, but the components on these cards usually boost performance, run cooler, and last a lifetime. NOT ENOUGH slots on this board.

It simply doesn't work
Comment:
Works perfectly. Maybe some manual improvements would be better, also 1 extra PCIe x 16 to use crossfire, but anyway is a very good mobo.
