I have been using this board with the AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition and it runs great! I have a computer shop and build and sell custom computers and I have been pushing this combo because it's a good all around machine. The Apex T-381 with the psu has been a popular choice for a computer case and the included psu is adequate for powering this. I do overclock at the customer's request and I usually do 3.5GHz and it runs cool and stable.

J'ai installe cette carte mere avec facilite. Ce que j'aime le plus c'est le fait d'avoir la possibilite d'ajouter d'autre memoire dans le future avec les 4 entrees disponibles. De plus, elle offre plusieurs types de port tel que le firewire et sata.

Assembled my computer without issue. Motherboard was easy to install and wire up. Instructions on a few features are pretty vague, but the board itself works great.

After having many issues in the past with many motherboard brands, i had always been shy of anything other than ASUS, they had a good track record for me. Building a PC for a family member, it came with this with a combo.. was leary at first, but grealy impressed with it. ESATA, Firewire, 6 sata connections, hdmi, 7.1 sound.. its got everything, and seems to preform very well. a great motherboard for a media center type PC.

Very good deal for the money. This motherboard has everything that I wanted and is very reasonably priced. Appears to be very high quality. It flys with Windows vista. No waiting for anything!!! Grand kids love it.

Had a tough time trying to get this hooked up and running properly. First, from another review I read, make sure that BOTH power connectors are plugged in. Installing XP pro SP2 I would have thought that using a SATA HDD would have been easy, but I had to configure it as a IDE for whatever reason. Also, if you're installing the SATA drivers during windows install, make sure you copy them onto a floppy first. XP refused to use drivers supplied on a CD. Overall, excellent product once I got it up and running. No issues since.

4GB of DRAM on XP Home So far it's great!! We loaded Wrath of the Lich King and it is getting ---- 61 FPS WITH THE BUILT IN ATI GRAPHICS CHIP!!!!!!!!. It blows away the Invidia on my quad core Intel board. It runs my engineering software great. I would buy another one in a heart beat!

After 2 AMD failures on my dream system I decided to give gigabyte a try. Bios backup and bios utilities and bios options impressed me. Only difficulties were self caused by not reading far enough in the raid description. Would have liked to have at least 2 more sata ports. A simply unbelievable board for the price. Gigabyte will certainly be my board of choice for my next build.

This motherboard was cheap and is reliable in my opinion. No problems at all with installation. I purchased windows 7 and it runs smooth and fast on this MOBO. An excellent product.

Got it together with Athlon II 245. My 10-year old son put together everything ;-) I installed OpenSuSE 11.1 x64 and it is the first mobo that alows suspend2ram without a hitch. There are a number of issues though: couldn't still convince the memory to run in ganged mode (followed the instructions and googled quite a bit), the Firewire needs a special connector that doesn't come with the board... otherwise it's a good combo for a great price.
