Picked this up to replace my old 3Ghz HT P4 processor with a new MOBO. Love the speed. With the same amount of RAM and the Same video card loading times in games are minimized to nothing. I haven't gotten my computer attached to the network properly yet, so I have not tried to put it through it's paces with photo or vector editing yet, but I'm sure it'll make short work of renders. My only complaint is with the attachment of the stock cooler, the way it sits it is very difficult to remove so once it's on, it's on good.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:None.

Pros:Well priced.Crazy overclocker.Quad Core.
Comment:
This processor is great value and even better if your an overclocker as it easily reaches and exceeds the speeds of it's more expensive Core i7 brothers.I used an Coolermaster Hyper 212 combined with a Gigabyte P55-UD3R MoBo to get a stable overclock of 3.8 GHz with ease.Sick CPU power, especially when transcoding video files, plus quad core all for less than $300!.An amazing CPU and I would recommend purchasing.

VERY FAST!
Comment:
Works perfect. very fast! overclocked to 3.8 WITH CORSAIR H50 LIQUID COOLER. Also had at 4.0GHZ but temps were a bit high and I don't need it that fast. It's fast enough!

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:Stock heatsink has horrible thermal tape

Pros:FastCool (temperature)Very easy to overclockBest bang for buck
Comment:
This CPU is absolutely the best sub-$300 CPU on the market at the moment. Unless you have a pressing need for HyperThreading and the 4 additional virtual cores it provides, there really is no need to spend more on an i7 8xx or 9xx-series CPU.With the stock fan, this CPU easily overclocks to over 3GHz. I ran it at 100% CPU load for 48 hours at 3GHz and the temps reached a maximum of 61C with the stock heatsink and fan. Replacing the thermal tape with a proper thermal compound allowed me to hit 3.2GHz ... again, with the stock heatsink and fan.I run Adobe's Framemaker, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator with 4GB of RAM and have been very satisfied with the speed and responsiveness of my system. My PC absolutely out-performs my old Core2Duo and my Core2Quad at work.

Stable, quick, best bang-for-buck
Comment:
I always get one tier off the top, for value, and this is an excellent price for such a good processor. I'm currently running a mild overclock (166Mhz FSB to give 3.3Ghz) and it barely breaks a sweat under a Zalman cooler - 35 degrees under load, to be precise. No regrets!

It's amazing and for $200, you can't beat it. Save the extra $100 and buy this processor instead of the i7.

Great Product
Comment:
This processor runs great. I haven't done it, but I believe it could be overclocked fairly easily on the stock cooler. It automatically overclocks when using fewer cores which is great if you're running only one thread. I would recommend it to anyone.

This cpu handles everything you can throw at it and has some throttle to spare...unless you need 6 gigs of RAM (and most don't), you don't need an i7; this is perfect...

Wow AMAZING!!
Comment:
Wow, i mean this thing just zaps through apps like nothing. I've never seen anything this fast before. I've been building computer and this was the first one (fastest) that i've ever built for my clients. It's great, super fast and durable. The best part about it is that it runs efficiently without loud noise. I tested it on a few apps including Adobe photoshop CS4 and it seem to take it like candy. Amazing processor, does more than it's built to do it is incredible. The only thing with intel is that it's a bit overprice for the market average but it does the job well. If you have the money to spend, this processor will do you as good, I say it's a better value than the i7 but can't beat the Phenom II X945 Quad-Core's deal of 169.00. Pretty amazing processor overall.

I dont know what to say... words cant express how overly satisfied I am with this cpu. Overclocked to 3.2ghz with aftermarket heatsink and this puppy runs whatever your heart desires. In fact I think i remember it running applications and multitasking at the stock 2.66ghz with the same results. Thankyou intel

Works Great, Fast, fast, fast... Even with the stock cooler, keeps it cool enough. Probably would get a better cooler if you plan on overclocking, but this is speedy enough without overclocking it.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:stock heatsink+fan seems tiny

Pros:Good value for the money
Comment:
This processor has taken everything I've thrown at it like a champ. Don't be discouraged to buy this over an i7 because of lack of hyper-threading, most people won't take advantage of that feature.I will eventually stick a bigger heatsink+fan because the stock one is surprisingly small. It does the job, but I want to get the temps to be a bit lower.
