Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:Nothing

Pros:Fast and efficient, gaming best
Comment:
This is the best quality/speed/price CPU for gaming. I got mine on weekly special less than 200$. Can't get better for this price. Very fast, stable and beat AMD.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:Stock cooler is TINY

Pros:Fast chip, quad core, plays the latest games
Comment:
I purchased this as currently i7 is priced too high. This chip was the best price to performance ratio and has good OC scores. One draw back is the extremely tiny heatsink and fan unit. My pentium 2 processor back in the day had a bigger chunk of metal on it. Even at stock speeds I am going to pick up a new cooler for this to protect the investment during intense gaming. Great chip though

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:- Heatsink

Pros:- Fast- Price- Good value
Comment:
I bought this CPU for a friend who was not able to pay for a Core i7 but wanted something powerful enough to drive everything for 2-3 years. I made a choice by buying this CPU.My only major complaint is the size of the stock heatsink. It should be ok since my friend won't overclock his CPU but I have doubt that thing can handle some heat.Beside that it's a very good CPU with a very good value that can go in any build without worrying about changing it for 2-3 years. I'd recommend buying that especially if you have people that only do internet/word/casual gaming stuff on their computer and want to keep it for a couple of years.

Great processor for the price
Comment:
Great processor for the price have it overclocked to 2.83 GHZ on a P7P55D Deluxe motherboard and it works great use to have an E8400 Dual Core what an upgrade from that!! If your on a budget buy this now and you can always upgrade to core i7 when it gets cheaper

Excellent Power Processor for a Great Price
Comment:
Upgraded from an old e7200 dual more chip. Very happy with the increase in performance. Stock fan works great with my motherboard auto-tuning overclock feature. I am getting a CPU fan error even though I've reseated the fan multiple times and am sure there's nothing wrong with the installation, but I've been able to keep my computer on for days now with no overheating or any issues at all. Great product for power users on a budget.

The core works wonders, although I only have an old dual core to compare it to, so I can't compare it to newest models.

Very Impressed :)
Comment:
I can't say enough how impressed I am with the performance of this little i5! Installed with an ATI HD 4770, 4GB of DDR3, ASUS P7P55D Mobo, and Win7, and it runs all my games at full graphical settings without OC'ing and without breaking a sweat! I only notched it down to 4 for features because it does not have Hyperthreading, and it only takes advantage of 1333MHz RAM (though I have 1600MHz installed, in anticipation of a faster replacement CPU in the future). Still, this is the most value I've ever gotten for a processor. Two thumbs way up!

And Intel Support was amazing. I saved 600 bucks on my last PC by building it myself, and I'm a newby. It was well worth it. I did not manage to make this CPU flinch yet.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:-none because you wouldn't be using a stock cooler to OC this beastly processor

Pros:-Integrated Memory Controller-Lots of power for not a big price
Comment:
I went from Q6600 v 3.7GHz to the core i5 750 and notice a big difference on programs and games loading quicker. I have this running at 4.02 GHz |1.36 VCore | 1.125 VTT 24/7 with a Heatkiller 3.0/Black Ice GTX480 rad which never goes above 59C hottest core on Intel burn test.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:- Stock cooler

Pros:- Good value- Fast- Versatile turbo boost
Comment:
This processor is fast, competitive with the expensive i7 CPUs for fewer than 4 threads. Turbo boost gives it a performance bonus for single or dual-threaded processes. Good for gaming. The only thing I'd complain about is the stock cooler, which has my PC at 50 degrees Celsius under load.Still, it's a great value and likely a platform that will last several years, at which time, you'll be able to upgrade to a new LGA1156 processor.

Great processor! Great value and really fast! One downside however, I got 1600MHz memory to match this processor, however, it can only run at 1333Mhz without overclocking. Mobo manual states a corei7 is required to run memory at 1600MHz, without modding. Mobo is ASUS P7P55D Pro Intel P55 Socket LGA1156 MB RAM is Corsair 4GB DDR3 PC12800 1600MHz (2x2GB) Class 9

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:- bad cooling

Pros:- good OCer- great budget processor
Comment:
the stock cooler is, just as usual, the weakest link. Though, this CPU can easily clock over 3.2GHz with proper cooling. The price is about right for an entry level quad and it matches the higher end quads in the previous generation. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a budget build.
