Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:None that I can think of

Pros:Price, Performance
Comment:
This CPU has worked like a champ, I have yet to really give this CPU a run for its money in every day computing. I would definately consider it again in another build.

Very fast! (memory warning)
Comment:
This processor is very fast. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and have not really been able to slow it down. Been playing all the latest games at max settings and they run perfectly. Very good for running multiple applications at once as well as video and image editing. When buying memory please understand these processors only support memory with a freq. of 1.5 volts. The embedded memory controller on the CPU can fry if you clock your memory more than 5% above 1.5 volts.

Awesome CPU for the money
Comment:
This is the best bang for buck cpu currently on the market. get yourself a good after market cooler (i used the cooler master hyper 212 plus) and this cpu easily overclocks. i'm changed a few settings and run at 3.4ghz. if you have time to tweak, you can easily push it around 4ghz.

Great Performance With Excellent Power Management
Comment:
This processor is very fast and does well with high or low demands. I am using a ASUS P7P55D LE motherboard which works very well with the processor. The machine boots Windows 7 Home Premium in about 40 seconds and will come out of sleep mode in under 15 seconds.

Cons:none

Pros:probably the best performance/price ratio for a quad core

awesome processor
Comment:
I've had this processor for 2 days now and have it OC to 3.6ghz cooling with the thermaltake silent and it idles at 30 degrees and at full load go to 55. Didn't even have to change the voltage of it to get it to 3.6, my system is stable. I'm very please to have purchased this for so cheap. Also the CPU scores 16400 on futuremark 3d.

Get the right board
Comment:
Tried 5 different boards for this one. 4 of them scored in the high 6's until the last one I used (Gigabyte P55-UD3 Intel P55 Socket LGA1156) consistently scored a 7.3 running Win 7. The new 55 chipset, along with the North and south changes in this board make this thing scream! Asus has a similar board, so just in case you do your homework, and like Asus, I did not try that board.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:stock cooler... have to buy aftermarket cooler

Pros:Performs almost same as i7s
Comment:
this cpu performs better than 1366 i7s for some reason. this cpu has more fps than some i7s for 1366. I think this is better because this is cheaper, better performance and overall realibility.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:No hyper-threading

Pros:Good value, fast, keeps cool
Comment:
This processor is plenty fast for the average person's work load and it packs a good punch for gaming. It doesn't matter how many applications I have open my computer never slows down. The great thing about getting the i5 is that you can wait until the Intel Core i7 drops in price and then do an upgrade for even more performance later on. I'm using the stock heatsink right now because my 3rd party one broke, but it does a nice job of keeping the processor cool.

Piece of cake
Comment:
Performs well. Installation and instructions were satisfactory. I recommend picking up thermal paste and not using the limited coverage that comes with the cpu fan.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:-Small stock cooler, probably good for stock speeds, but upgrade if you plan on making use of the easy oc features

Pros:-Great chip for the price-OC'ed very easy to 3.8 on air without breaking 60c at load
Comment:
This chip is great. For the money and if you dont need HT, this is the one to go with. I could not be happier with my build and the preformance i'm getting. I upgraded the cooler to a Noctura, which is a thing of beauty.

Low cost, high quality processor.

With hyper threading disabled to shield the higher cost i7, it is still a great value and a fast processor.

Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:none so far for the price

Pros:price/performance ratioruns cool
Comment:
The chip is pretty fast at stock speed. If multithreading is not needed, this is the way to go. Overclock well on stock voltage. Way better deal than amd offers at the moment.
