Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: None... it's the best CPU I had to work with (I've had AMD and Intel CPUs and this one is my favorite!)

Pros: It's just the best bang for the buck at the moment!
Comment:
This new technology is so stable... and it's got so much headroom for OC, I mean it's rated for up to 1.4Vcore by Intel and it starts at 0.95...The stock cooler is crap, but if you buy this do yourself a favor and buy a heatsink... the Coolermaster 212 is 25$ and with it I get 30C idle and 50C heavy load...

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: None

Pros: Great speed.Good price
Comment:
This is probably your best cpu choice for a Midrange pc. This can often be found for cheaper than the 750 when on sale or with PM. Easily overclocks to 3.6+ highly recommended

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: No Hyper-threading

Pros: Price, value
Comment:
Best bang for the buck for a gaming build. Overclocked it to 4.2GHz easily, and can still push it further. Instead of buying a more expensive processor, consider getting this chip and spending the difference on other mods.

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: No hyperthreading...but if it had that, what would the point of the i7 be? (i5 760 = 4 threads, i7 = 8 threads)

Pros: Nice they bumped up the 750's clock to meed the 860's speed.
Comment:
Got this when it was on the sale, it is a great processor. If you are a gamer, this is just as good as an i7...if your a video editor, still get the i7 because you need the hyper threading (8 threads). Ironically though, you can OC this WAY better than an i7 unless you disable HT and Turbo on the i7.

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: - Noisy stock fan

Pros: - Easy Overclock
Comment:
Very easy to overclock. Currently running at 3.2Ghz but the fan can get a bit noisy. Recommend an aftermarket cooler instead. Expecting to get at least a ~3.6GHz overclock with it.

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: Platform is getting replace with sandy bridge 1155 socket

Pros: Best gaming CPU in terms of bang for the buck
Comment:
At the moment, if you can wait for the new platform to come out, then wait it out. If not, then this CPU chip is the most ideal at $199. If you're spending anymore, might as well put that money towards a decent SSD or to a better video card.

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: None so far.

Pros: Super Fast! Great price too!
Comment:
At 199, I'd pick the i5-760 over an i3 any day, the 80$ price difference gives you at least 2.5 times the speed and processing power! More importantly, a little bit of overclocking for the i5 can drive the processor easily over 4.0 GHz, making it monster quick!

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: - None

Pros: - Got the item at $200 which makes it all that much better- High performance with my current rig- Able to play the modern games with my GTX460
Comment:
Not necessarily a high end CPU but definitely worth the money. I'm now able to play very modern games and I'm looking to get Crysis in the future. Intel does not disappoint, recommended!

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: None

Pros: Runs cool and very fast
Comment:
This CPU is a great upgrade to my old e6600. Converted a DVD to mpeg took 2 1/2 minutes on my laptop, and 17 seconds on this CPU, gaming works great as well. Temps are nice and low, and can be overclocked to 4.2GHz or more! (using a Venomous X) Not running those speeds for 24/7 use though. If your not doing a lot of encoding this is a great chip without having to get an i7.

Cons: nonw

Pros: Very fast and very efficient. Great multi-tasking abilities

Upgraded from a dual core AMD. This is an excellent gaming cpu. This is one beast of a processor. Many people, myself included, have been able to overclock to 3.6GHz on stock voltages.

Intel Core i5-760 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: At the time of writing, $15 difference between the i5 750 and 760..if looking at an i5 cpu i'd recommend go for the 750 and just overclock.Performance of stock cooler leaves much to be desired.

Pros: Quad core performance, Price(even better when on sale), temperatures, overclock friendly.
Comment:
I purchased this cpu when it was on sale for under $200 for my new build. Performs excellent with all the cpu intensive applications that I use, as well as with all the more recent games such as Starcraft 2. Overclocking the cpu was simple and responsive. I performed a moderate overclock from stock speeds of 2.8ghz to 3.8ghz using an aftermarket cooler(Coolermaster hyper 212+) and temperatures remained low and performance was stable.Excellent cpu for the price, would recommend to others.
