Intel Core2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
Cons:
Cheap Intel Heatsink (Tricky Installation)
Pros: Good Clock Speed, Inexpensive Comment:
Bought this for a bargain gaming machine and it works well for everyday computing and gaming (I switched heatsinks and overclocked it). Can handle most things you throw at it and for the price, it was a decent buy. |

Great Processor for general office and AV work
Comment:
If I was a gamer, I'd go to the Core i7, but I'm not. I do a lot of AV stub from camcorder, digital photography, CD and DVD productions, web site development along with the general Office and Internet programs. This processor is more than adequate. It is fast, has a quite fan and meets my needs. The only thing about it is the installation instructions that come with it. They are pictorial only. However I installed them in ASUS boards that come with excellent detailed instructions. |

Best bang for the dollar!
Comment:
Wasn't sure if I wanted a Quad core or this Dual core, but the price difference kinda made that decision for me. I assumed that my outdated Socket 775 motherboard could handle it. Found out that most older motherboards, more than 6 months, do not support Core 2 Duos' or even Quad cores' due to the front bus speed and the chip-set. Coupled this thing with Bios' G31 Socket 775 motherboard! Amazing speed and the response time has drastically improved. My wife is much happier cause now her internet games and programs load in seconds instead of minutes. I'm pleased because aside of the negative reviews, I went ahead and gave it try. Turns out that my gut was right, mainly cause I have never gotten any defective nor DOA products ever from this site, and I've been shopping here for more than 10 years! Anyways, fantastic work and keep up the amazing service! You've got a loyal customer right over here! |

Fantastic

Super fast! Running multiple applications and watching video and it runs fast and smooth. Bought an oversized, silent cooling fan and the temperature remains low regardless of what I throw at it. Great Buy! |

Core Duo bests Dual Core
Comment:
It was new MoBo time and time to return to Intel-only guts... so out with my faltering $24-after-rebate-back-in-2008 and in with a 775 socketted Intel DG435NB and it's faster FSB stats. My first build, a Socket 480 P$ at 3Ghz, still covered me well waiting for the new MoBo to ship. The Intel DG435NB said it was good for Pentium D's... well not exactly, and my 3.2Ghz PD was not on the list when I finally checked at the Intel website... so I went for the Core Duo E7500 and it has been been great... the computer surfs, rips and converts formats noticeably faster. I don't game except for Farmville on Facebook and that experience is definitely much improved because of the faster performance of this chip and board. Also must mention that even with the ''slower'' shipping time involved when one qualifies for free shipping, |

got this as part of a barebone kit. put it on a Gigabyte G41M-ES2L MB. used the heat sink that came with it, didn't like how the heat sink secured to the MB. but it works and have no heat issues. |

Good quality for price
Comment:
I have owned this processor for just about six months. The only problem I have had was my fault because I did not have the fan above it properly seated for the first two days and it ran hot. I appreciate the speed of this processor in an upgrade from a single core hyperthreading 3Ghz. I have no complaints for the price I paid and the product I got. |

Bargain Processor
Comment:
Paired this processor with an ASUS P5KPL motherboard running at factory settings with good results. Replaced a P4 HT 630 which has a faster internal bus but I really don't notice any difference in my office and cad applications plus this processor runs cooler! I think it's a really good buy. |

I bought this in a package deal with an Asus mobo and have been overly impressed with the performance of this processor!! I am looking to buy another one as well, just to have another computer with the performance!! Maybe I will go with a quad next time though!! |

Works great
Comment:
I bought this to replace my wifes P-4. It is so much faster, as I am the one doing the maintenance on the machine. Before, it would take about a minute to boot up. Now it takes about 20 seconds. My wife has noticed faster speeds and better response with this CPU. |

I bought this cpu to put on a board i got free. It has been running at 3.4GHz in my son's gaming machine since first installed with no issues whatsoever.
