None genuinely, but I cant help notice the base is designed in a way which would make it impossible to perch on a laptop pc. I use it on a flat panel LCD monitor and it lays on the top nicely but it would be good to take with me and use with my laptop often. Has the weirdest base,. I wouldnt have thought this thing would stand up properly on it's own but it does.

Downloaded Skype from the PCLinuxOS repository...Skype choices located the video promptly and I was able to locate the audio alternatives within three tries.I will be buying one more Quickcam for my daughter.Customer...and Linux compatibility evaluations are incredibly valuable.
