Fan fit fine on the motherboard and runs very quietly. I would rather apply my own thermal paste or gel instead of the attached grease pad. However, it is working fine, so far.

I have nothing but trouble trying top install the Intel supplied fan so I went with this fan and I am not disappointed. The factory fan is very difficult for me to get the screw or pins to work as I can not push then and turn them correctly. With this fan you simply screw the fan down like any screw. The one thing that I do not like is there is no sensor pin.

This is a great little fan. overclocked a e5300 from 2.66 to 3.06 without the temps going up one degree with prime95 running for 10 minutes. is louder than a stock fan but is a amazing deal for the price.

I buy it along with a new 680i lt sli atx motherboard and it does not fit the screws with the back plate towards you have to unscrew all the moterboard to put the plate and later on when I screw the cpu making a lot of strengh I realise the cpu did not touch the procesor so I have to quit it and it was a completely pain in the as.

With stock coolers you have to worry about lining up the back plate with the holes on the mobo making sure you get it right the first time because you have that sticker to hold it in place, and if you messed up?? With Masscool, the fan connections go THROUGH the holes on the mobo making it much easier to install in much less time. Just insert the back plate through the holes until it rests flush to the mobo, set your fan on the connectors and lock it down! Plain and simple!!!

I had to replace the motherboard for my Core 2 Quad Q6600 and my original fan was just too big to fit the space. Good sturdy undermount support made installation easy as did the pre-applied thermal gel. Great purchase.

This product failed after just 7 months of operation. Stressed the CPU as there was no indication of failure. Noticed Unit was running very quietly and computer was hanging up. Noticed fan was not running and a great deal of heat was being emitted by the CPU. Never had a CPU fan fail this fast before.

I purchased this CPU cooling fan on Sunday; received it on Wednesday, 1700. Installed fan, bench checked first and reassembled PC. Back on line by 1730. Installed easily on my 775 MB. Also, this website is by far the best source for PC related hardware and software. I rated the fan a 5-best and website a 10- off the chart superb!

Much better than INTEL OEM. More cooling surface and it screws onto the board rather than the plastic push pins. MB must be loose in case to attach the mounting plate on the underside of the MB. Make sure you have the room to put it in.

well i bought this fan and have yet to test it but it is a great looking fan it even comes with pre added thermal paste on it!! I also like that unlike the Big Typhoon heat-sink fan it actually screws on instead of dealing with those pesky plastic clips which broke on me after about 7 months.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first one was for my computer and the second one was for my husbands computer. They work great! No problems. They do their job. After installing the stock fan that came with my Intel CPU. Just press it in right? After close to an hour I realized there had to be something quicker to install and actually cooled my CPU. This fan brought my temps way down and I will be buying more in the future! If you are building a good all around system, I highly recommended this cooler. It is on the bigger side so be sure you have a bigger case.

This cooler is amazing! I have been running for 6 hours, and my temps are only at 26 degrees! That's only 5 degrees over ambient temp! So glad I went with this one.

Purchased Fan 3 weeks ago and plan on getting more. Easily installs, quiet running. For the average non gamer this could be rated a 10 if it went that high. It compliments the Intel MOBO it sets in.

This fan is the most solid cooling device I've had im my pc. It mounts directly to the board with a 2 piece system, very sturdy. It keeps the processor cool even under the heaviest loads. I recommend this product over any other fancy looking heatpipe system. Best investment you could make.

This fan screws onto the motherboard into a part that you put under the board, unlike the twist type Forgot to remove the plastic protector over the area that mates with the cpu. Luckily the computer just kept turning off. Removed the plastic and all is well!

I was after a fan to put in a product that gets a lot of bumps and knocks. The low cost CPU fans that fit from the top only through the motherboard have flimsy plastic clips that break free or break off if you subject the PC case to any sort of sudden force. This fan is lightweight, sits close to the motherboard and comes with a plate that fits under the motherboard with metal screws through the motherboard to metal fasteners underneath making it a good choice for a harsh environment PC. Add to that it is low cost, cools a dual core processor very well for a non-heat pipe unit and comes with a protected power lead, pregreased heatsink etc so it gets 5 stars from me.
