I got this fan/heatsink combo as part of a barebones deal back in February. It keeps my 3.2 Celeron between 29 & 31 C, even under heavy loads. Nuttin fancy about it, you do have to take your motherboard out to put adapter plate/screws on, no biggie. The fans big and fat and spins at 2800. Haven't been able to adjust the fan speed manually but you can use the SMARTFAN option in your bios so that it will self adjust. Its been fine but its been getting louder and louder the last couple of weeks, when I turn everything off around my comp and open up the side it sounds like the bearings are grinding up inside it, probably fixing to bugger out on me. I rekon ya get what ya pay for and besides your CPU fan/heatsink ARE the most important pieces of hardware inside your box. Hot CPU's fry and are junk afterwards, If ya got a Ferrari ya don't put retreads on it. Spend a few more bucks on a decent fan/heatsink. Maybe even opt for a copper heatpipe combo. I'm fixing too now that their cheaper.

Not the best looking fan, but it's performance is by far the best. With my stock fan, under load, I would average in 55c. With this fan, under load at tops only rarely does it go over 40c! It's also much quieter. I would suggest this to anyone.

Keeps my 3.6 Celeron D cool while running quiet. What more could you ask? No lights or colors, but I don't have a clear sided case anyways. Good deal! Good price and with rebate even better price!!

the Dosn't have alot of style but it does th job to keep my Intel Celeron D running @ 3.2 GHz cool at about 36 degrees C. The only bad thing is if you already have your mobo in your case it has to come back out to put on the back plate for the fan.

This fan works great. Only issue with it is that I wasn't able to control the fan speed through the bios. You may also want to remove the thermal paste from the heatsink, and apply your own.

Great value and performance you won't go wrong with this unless you need some massive hardcore gaming system on steroids I guess...

Great Cooling fan. You do not need to spend anymore money or look at another fan. My Celeron CPU 360 runs cool at peaks. What you may want to look at is an additional case fan (or two) to keep your hard drive and ram cooler. That helped me and some other techie friends of mine with other fast machines we had built.

Great product! Couldn't raise CPU temp above 28 degrees C even under my most demanding tests. Comes with thermal grease perfectly applied to heatsink base and is easy to install. With a (50,000 hour) life estimate, it was the perfect unit for my application.
