Great buy. Recommend it over other high priced ones like one I purchased before. I purchased this fan to replace a very noisy fan on my child's PC that was producing fan noise greater that 80db. I was weary due to the price, but I ordered the CPU Fan after reading the product reviews from other Tiger Customers. Thank you for your honest comments and install info. The fan noise is less than 60db even when taxed. I plan to buys another one to replace another noisy CPU fan. Thanks jet Knight

Kind of a pain to install...had built a new pc and had to remove my motherboard to latch cpu fan but hey the fan works great and have no problems with it.

Installed it on a Q6600 G0 stepping---Keeps it at 42C Idel and no more than 52C full load---Great price with $10 rebate!!!!!---What else do you want in a cooler?

I'm not sure I'd buy this fan to cool a hot CPU (for that I'd want a copper heat plate) but to cool a low power Intel E4500 Core Duo 2 it's got plenty, and is reasonably quiet, which is important for this application since I put it in an HTPC. The CPU fan is not any louder than the case fans, giving me a pretty quiet installation. Unfortunately the fan is only 3-pin, so it can't be controlled by the motherboard, but based on my other installs a CPU fan on a Core Duo 2 is going to be running at minimum speed almost all the time anyway. Can't beat the price, and it does the job for this application. I do like the screw-in fans rather than the ones with the flimsy and fussy tabs. This model doesn't require you to tape or stick the backer plate to the mobo, so you can remove and replace it later if required without a battle.

I don't see any problems at all with this fan. My son put this fan on a system we are building. It is quiet and keeps the Celeron processor running cool. You need to have your motherboard out of the case to install this fan, but for the price this fan is Great...

I had to give this a low review because of the fact the fan was D.O.A. But because of the price the heat sink alone was worth it. After a little tinkering I found a connection on the board had been trimed to close and disconnected a dioade a little soildering and it's working fine now. But the next time I think I'll use the warranty. But for what it is a good buy.

Was a great price and good performer, nice and quiet. But I accidentally stuck my finger into the fan while dressing up dangling p/s wires and broke off a couple of the blades (yes, it was running...not too bright of me). To me the fan seems pretty flimsy, but I guess under normal conditions that wouldn't be an issue. A good deal though, especially with the rebate.

My fan/heat sink didn't fit tightly onto the cpu. I'm not sure why. I added a couple of spacers to make the springs fit a little tighter and the problem was solved. Make sure you check yours. It made about a 50 degree cup temp. difference.

This product works great, for the cost, when installed properly by a experanced Tech. You get what you pay for when it comes down to computer hardware. Always know how hard your CPU will be working before chousing a CPU Fan.

this is a great fan had a little trouble installing but got over it pretty quickly (instructions don't mean a damn for this thing) but computer is running a cool 35C on idle and 45 on a high to medium load all in all worth the money and def delivers for the price too and more Thx tiger

So far this seems like a good product. The way it attaches to the motherboard is much better than the fans that have the plastic latches that break off. This fan is securely attached. The fan is also very quiet. Mine came with the thermal paste already applied.

First i fan doesnt touch the cpu in a pentium D then i was shutting down then i realized there was a seal which needed to be removed from the fan which didnt say anything then the paste needed to be applied this is major issues that need to be dealt with

i got this fan in a bb system i bought and got to say it works great. i have pentium d 830 duel core 3 gig. keep cpu running, fan is quiet, all i do i min stuff.

Bought this fan/heatsink combo to go with a motherboard/cpu set I bought in August, and the fan wires were shorted out and kept motherboard from powering up. It was easy to fix, but showed poor assembly from Factory.

This thing is HUGE. I got mine with a barebones kit to put on the Biostar P4M800 Pro M7 and it barely even make contact with the CPU because of a Cap that was standing close to the CPU, which caused MAJOR problems. I don't really know if this is a good or bad heatsink because it wouldn't even fit on the board for me to find out.

This fan is brutle I bought a new one. first my computer keeps feezing because I end up with upwards of 70 degrees C. AND GET THIS The fan is blowing back down toward the CPU so its not even cooling it. you can't flip the fan over or anything to get it in reverse

Running an Abit IP-95 with a Pentium D 940 at a cool 37 Celsius under normal conditions; 43 Celsius under load. Great Value, great performance, holding up very well for about 5 weeks now. As far as features...it's a CPU fan, nothing more. Looking to build another system for my in-laws and purchasing this fan, hence my belated Review of the product.

This fan pretty much does the job, I'm using a Pentium D 2.66ghz and it keeps it under 45C at max. Recommend this if you are on a budgette.

It does the job but I would recommend stepping up to a copper core. I bought this for a Pentium D 805 and it keeps it at 43º celcius all the time
