THEY Function FINE!!! MY BURNER BURNED OUT. SYMPTOMS? SOME BURNED FINE AND SOME DIDNT, RANDOM ERROR MESSAGES. FUSSED AND FOUGHT WITH Various Software FOR A MONTH. BLAMED DVD'S. REPLACED DVD DRIVE AND THEN BACK TO FLAWLESS BURNS. REPLACE DRIVE WHEN DVD'S Quit Operating. THANK YOU XBOX360, NOW I CAN TOSS MY Movies ON A THUMB DRIVE AND STICK IT IN THE XBOX 360 AND IT JUST PLAYS. NO More Buying DVD'S. YAY!!!

I've burned about 8-9 discs so far and all operating fantastic. I use imgburn software (I highly rec you download this cost-free software package) and I burned all but two at two.4x speed. I did just lately try 2 of them at 4x speed and it seems to operate good too. For reference my burner is an LG Blu-Ray Rom/DVD burner (HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW GGC-H20L 1.03) and the disc ID is RITEK-S04-66. I have not tried to burn at 8x simply because I read some of these testimonials that advise not too. Also I think imgburn only lets you go to 4x on these discs. They are not Verbatim, even though you won't be paying ũ+ per disc either. I'm not confident what some folks are having an matter with. Perhaps they are attempting to burn at 8x or 6x, possibly their burner or software program is not appropriate for these, or probably they have gotten some bad discs. I will update this evaluation if I start off acquiring coasters but I really like them so far.

Very good value for DL DVDs. Doesn't work with my laptop's TSSTcorp TS-T633C DVD burner. (does have DL disk write capability) Looks like if you try to use them on a Dell laptop, they automatically fail. Seem to operate on my parent's HP laptop although... (this and the price are the only factors I gave it 2 eggs instead of 1)

Nice layout I truly like the colors. Really stable bios has all the appropriate stuff incredibly friendly board. Great function set for the cost. i52500k four.5 out of the box with no a difficulty. Computer software that come with it is junk do nto use. Overclock in windows just locks your program. I would be pleased if it had 1 much more pci-express port but hey can't have anything.

I have experienced less than 1 negative disc per spindle, and never ever had a compatibility concern with any of the Samsung, Sony, LG or Lit-On burners that I also brought from here. Regardless of how long ago the burner was purchased (i.e. 2 years) ahead of the media. None

they are low-costthey function (see other thoughts)i can burn backups to my dvd's with out compromising quality first batch failed entirelymy encounter:as a lot of others have stated these don't operate most of the time. or really on most burners. the initial time i bought these it was from a neighborhood electronics store. just to try them out i bought the 25 pack. I tried about half the pack and nearly all of them failed. only 2 of them in fact worked. so then i decided to take them back to the retailer and see if they would at least give me an exchange. they did but it was for the similar product, so i went house tried it a couple of times on diverse burners until i lastly found 1 that works. Luckily the one that worked was not a lucky burn, i kept making backups of my dvd's and so far that burner has been a 100% success. so yes i fully grasp that most individuals are getting troubles with their burner. on the other hand if you have the proper burner then it is considerably less costly to burn with these than it is with verbatim, considering that i found out i have a burner that works i now purchased the 50 spindle here because it is the cheapest value i located. As a note the burner i utilised is a sony optitract which someone on a different evaluation of this has also said that it functions ideal with these. Note: it might also be less expensive to buy these dvd's from newegg as they are the least expensive ones (in price tag i mean) and acquire a sony optitrac burner from another internet site which i identified that has them for about 40 to 50, this may well basically be a more affordable resolution in the long run than acquiring verbatim

ValueCapacity Some burners can not burn these reliably. When I first bought this product I could not get 1 excellent burn, all 1st ten attempts were coasters. I upgraded my burner and I have not had one failure since. Make sure your firmware is up to date. If you have an older burner look at upgrading. I agree with most comments that say if you can not get these to perform it is not the media's fault.

These are less costly than most brands by very a bit. For anybody interested my disc id's are ricohjpn-d01-67 low excellent. quite a few coasters, so far i've burned around ten discs with 3 being usable and 7 having poor sectors at the exact same exact point. I'm burning with a lite-on drive(new) at 4x. I was about to take them back to exactly where I purchased them following attempting them on both of my drives (other is samsung) and a buddies (all getting negative sectors at the same exact spot about the finish of the very first layer, also burned at 4x). I've given them one last chance burning them at two.4x with achievement on the lite on but nonetheless producing coasters on the samsung. So if you're having difficulties burning these with your drive attempt 2.4x. Yes, it's super slow but at least no coasters so far fingers crossed. So any individual expecting to burn these at 8x let alone 4x are fairly considerably rolling dice.

I have been obtaining these now for over a year. They function fantastic. Of course I will get a poor disc here and there but who is not to say that it was my fault or a bad image. I have purchased off brand discs before just mainly because of $ and they killed me. I went by way of 300 1 XMas & perhaps a 1% loss. TDK and Verbatim are what I use to get depending on who was the better deal at the time. Now I just pick these up since of $ and they are good dl dvds. Packaging is ugly, wish they had been white tops or printable ones instead. Wish they had been printable and generally have them with cost-free three day shipping not the new technique of shipping Newegg has gone to unless it states free 3day shipping. But if thats what going to support maintain costs low as hell, i am not against four-7 organization.

I used about five packs of these with 2 or three coasters in total. The final three packs of 50: every disk poor. This is what I have tried with no success at all:- Unique burner- Distinct laptop or computer- Clean laptop with just the OS and the imaging/burning software program- Unique speed- Unique burn software- Various imaging software program- Diverse DVD player- Gave a couple to various pals for them to try.Absolutely nothing worked. All disks bad. Significant: I didn't want to use a various brand due to the fact of my previous successfull expertise with these Memorex disks and simply because I was thinking there was no way that all disks were poor. As soon as I switched to TDK, ZERO COASTERS so far. I then attempted the TDKs with all the combinations I attempted the Memorex. The TDK worked best an all combinations. 150 Memorex DVD DL disks: So far none good.

Burns Xbox 360 Games with out any coasters and have gone halfway through the cake box. Burning with IMGBURN 2.5.two. at 4x (can't select two.4x due to this disc... but it is a non concern). Incredibly satisfied for the cash!! A+++ None. 2.4x would be greater.. but 4x appears to flawless so far.. and uh... 1.6x faster! ;)

So far they've worked wonderful. 23 Burned with no coasters. The write spead is only 8X. I didn't catch that when I was acquiring them, so no need to have to deduct an egg for my mistake. Guess thats explains why these had been as cheap as they are. Also some problems with shipping, but this is not the products fault so I won;t deduct eggs for that either. This is the very first time i would say Newegg didnt do nicely as far as shipping. The spindle came in a box with padding, but the padding was bunched up on one side of the box so the other side of the box was against the side of the spindle. When I got it the bottom of the spindle was cracked into numerous peices. Luckely none of the discs were damaged, but picture if this was an HDD. UPS could have been more gentle with the package so It's not all Newegg's fault, but I'm confident UPS expects everything shipped with them to be nicely packaged.

+I think I got 1 disc that worked out of 6. So that's one thing... -I burned 6 discs and five didn't play without skipping and jumping, they were unwatchable. *Newegg gave me a full refund for the remaining 44 discs.*Buy a 100 pack of Verbatim DVD+R instead. They price less than a 50 pack of DVD DL and you get the basically the similar quantity of storage. But you get a lot much more reliability (its much less risky to burn single layer DVDs)*Hurry up and buy these whilst there is cost-free shipping!!!http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817507003

I personally like the 'silver/chrome' label side type discs without a massive bossy company brand on them and this disc is just that. Zero errors (no coasters). Semi gloss protective label side layer that provides a nickel appear and shows sharpie pens incredibly nicely. Good steady and quickly burning discs. I burn a FULL 8 GB (DVD 9) disc in 12 minutes @ 16x) - don't know if that is superior for you or not, but it takes 11 minutes for me to burn a DVD five disc Ɣ.7 GB) @ 24x with the same burner. And the cost is Correct, man!!! Newegg.com (AS USUAL) had them at my doorstep inside 24 hours of submitting my order!!! I use them up too quick! I will be ordering additional.

I have been utilizing memorex for quite some time and started working with the Dual Layer disc's for the last year. I was told negative things about these discs not working as they should. I have never had 1 not work for me. Yes I have messed up settings and didn't get the menu or did something wrong. But by no means was the reason for the lack of the engineering of the item. The 50 pack is the way to go because when you purchase in bulk you generally get a far better price. These are 1 of the greatest brands you can get and with this set they are only 54cents a disc! I can't say that I have ever had a poor disc, even dvd+r, dvd+r dl, and cd-r.Even so it may well be due to my very nice dvd burner from the Asus. Why pay more when these work just fine. I know "other" brands are stated to be greater, but I have utilised these and the "other" massive brand, and I cant not say there is a lot of a difference.I know that other brand has also never let me completed, but I really feel the workmanship between them are the same.
