Bought this simply because Arctic Silver was unavailible. Personally dont like the fact it is unspreadable, and you have to go on faith that it will spread evenly with the simple pressure from the heatsink. But it works better than the stock thermal grease that comes with processors, and its cheep. So for most applications its just fine, tho I wouldnt want to trust it to high performance applications.

The compound does what it is supposed to. Most times, kits come with some heat dissipating compound stuck to the bottom side of the cooling fan, so you don't really even need to buy this stuff.

This is great! It lowered my temps about 3 extra degrees underload. It takes longer for temps to get high on hot days. Great product.

I found it to be on par with Arctic Silver 5. Although, it can be a little harder to apply effectively. Try smashing the heatsink down on the CPU evenly sometimes with those terrible socket 775 heatsink clips. Lower price for a bigger tube though... and I got it to work very well.

this stuff really work. droped my temperatures like 2 or 3 degree celcius...it ddin't drop them that much because my headsink is huge but it really does a good job..and for the price it comes for like 10 cpu's more!!!!!!

Runs very cool, with no curing time. Better than AS5 and MX-2. Easy to apply. Make sure to apply it to your heatsink though, and not the CPU. OCZ recommends this for their product.

OK, if you think it's not going to make a difference if you get this or not, you are WRONG. The thermal paste works more efficiently than that 'white stuff' that might come with your fan... and it doesn't dry up and become flaky... it goes on nice and sticky (not runny)... bottom line: it just work well.

High quality thermal paste. Using on Q6700 Quad Core. Better quality paste than ships with most cpu coolers. No issues. Highly recommend.

No need to spread. Follow instructions on OCZ website. Works better than more expensive ones. Drastically decreased temperature.

You can't beat a simple solution that actually works better than the original equipment! Kept my CPU: Pentium 4 Dual Core, 15 degrees cooler than the supplied Siver compound. I recomend this Low Priced solution with the Very High Quality from OCZ and an actual working product, Thanks TD.

Had to remount my Intel heat sink several times. The second mount, I simply reused the original stuff that came on the heat sink, since it was still spread evenly on both surfaces and what was missing from one surface was on the other. I smashed them together well and rotated slightly back and forth, but the Processor Temperature became about 6c higher than before. Cleaned off the old factory stuff well with a paper towel, and used a new application of this stuff and the temperature went down to what the factory stuff delivered originally. (Beware: some cheap compounds harden with age and become ineffective, even if not reused.) It takes skill to administer the right amount out of the syringe, to make it cover the surfaces but not flow into the fins. Just put about an 8mm dia. x 8mm high drop (more or less) in the center and squeeze it down. There's enough for maybe 1/2 dozen uses.

I used this on a Pentium 4 (478) processor, AMD Sempron 3000+, and a Intel Pentium D (775), it works great! It is easy to apply and I haven't had a problem with it. This tube has enough for several applications, maybe upwards of 20-30 applications.

I have a Celeron D 360 and it has been running between 58 and 65 degree. I bought this product and cleaned my CPU and the heatsink. Spread the paste and WOW. Now is running at 35F-36F always, even when the CPU is 100% This product is really good. Almost 50% down!!!

I got a 9550 and it cooled it down to 24 degrees idle... I am not kidding! I was astounded. And thats on the stock cooler. Playing Crysis and it went to 37 degrees. The highest I recorded so far is 42... unbelievable. Don't go with any other paste!!!
