Product is great. Replaced a 256MB memory card with this one, sure improves performance. Delivery was terrible - both TigerDirect and UPS messed this one up - took 3 weeks to get it. But that is very unusual for TD.

Purchased for my iBook G4 to replace a PC2100 chip that was in it when I got it. This chip works perfectly. This is the second computer I have purchased PNY memory for and have never had any issues.

This was a very good investment, though many have stated it wasn't all that great, My Compaq-Evo needed PC2100 and this product stated it was Pc2100/PC2700 compatable, it worked great, no problems, was found soon as I turned it on and runs great, quick & stable. So maybe it's the luck of the draw, or on some systems you may have to stick to the original specs tightly!? Oh well, In all my dealings with Tiger-Direct, well over 6 grand worth of repairing etc.. I have never been disappointed nor burned, they always do you right! If it isn't made for the machine, they will let you know, if it's questionable they will also inform you of it! I would say about 90% of my repairs and parts for such all came from Tiger! Shipping, quality and service is No. 1 in my book! I've been buying from TigerDirect for 10+ years now, they can't be beat, price-wise or service wise either! Note: My scores of 4 Stars is high, Rarely do I give a Five star rating on anything except rare specials etc...

This stick of RAM is terrible! A few months after I installed this, it was defective. When I turned my laptop on I got two loud beeps. I sent this back to PNY to get it replaced, and I had to pay for the shipping to get it there. I got my replacement in a few weeks and it worked. They did honour their lifetime warranty which was good. Once again this time in just one month, when I turn on my laptop I get two loud beeps. Now I have to send it back again! Complete waste of money! I purchased a 1GB Patriot RAM for $76.99 @ Canadacomputers and it works great. I am never buying PNY RAM again!

I was a little worried when I ordered this for my iBook since it didn't quite meet the specifications outlined in the manual. However I was told PC2700 would be compatible so I took the bait. My order arrived the following week (fast!) and my iBook is much zippier now!

I bought 2 sticks of this memory for my Toshiba P15-S409 Laptop. My laptop specifies using PC2100 RAM, but the PNY website said to use this RAM, so I took a chance and bought it. Once I received the RAM, I noticed that the packaging says compatible with PC2700 and PC2100 notebooks. They should say that in the write up, but once I installed the RAM it increased my processing speed by 3 Fold. And this PC2700 is alot cheaper that PC2100 RAM. I use alot of 3-D rendering programs and photo-editing programs that use to take forever to load. Now they load instantly. I should have bought this RAM along time ago.

I recently bought this RAM for my wife's Dell laptop for $104.97 and received a $10 rebate. It only had 512MB so I wanted to beef it up a good amount. The laptop has two slots so I left one 256 stick and installed the new GIG stick. So there is 1.25 GIG in the laptop. The laptop ran at a decent speed before, but it is blazing now! She looks at a lot of online journals and has to have multiple browsers open along with several applications for research and she can toggle between them all with no problems now, as well as having a media player running in the background. This RAM has increased performance over 100%. Her laptop doesn't even think of running slow now! Thanks Tiger for this great RAM at this fantastic price!

The documentation for my HP laptop stated that there were two memory slots available for upgrade. What they did not say was that I have to take the computer apart to get to the one UNDER the keyboard. Needless to say, that was not an option. So, I went with a 1 Gig chip to push the total memory to 1.2 Gig. I run MS Project and Visio in addition to all of the other MS Office apps, so this memory increase has made a big impact in performance. Great Choice.
