I bought a used Thinkpad T41 and my biggest complaint about it was the 512 MB installed ram was not enough. A lot of things would just hang. Since it had two slots (Maximimum ram 2 GB)I purchased and installed the 1 GB to give a total of 1.5 GB. It was easy to install and it improved the performance a great deal.

I upgraded a HP DV1000 laptop with 2 of these for a total of 2Gb. I have upgraded ram on a lot of PC's and Laptops and never regretted using PNY. PNY does not disappoint. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants reliable, affordable memory. Too bad I missed out on the rebate!

I needed to upgrade my RAM, checked with the manufacturer of my laptop for the proper stick. I ordered. The stick wouldn't fit, so I called this retailer and they sent me the right one. Easy install and works great.

I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 that is about 6 years old. Specs state that it will handle a maximum of 1GB, but I had read that some users had installed 2GB so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered 2 of these, and they work perfectly. This retailer provided excellent service as always.

Bought 1 PNY 2700 1GB upgrade for my wife's laptop. Easy to install, fired up and we could see the difference immediately. Bought the same for my daughter's older laptop she uses for her internet business, with the same result; she asked that I get her another to see if it would improve even more.

For the price it works great in the laptop. However I did find out that there is a cap on my laptop. I can upgrade to 2 gigs of ram but I get an error and have to keep the memory down to 1.25.

Shipment arrived quickly and was a snap to install into laptop. Just what I wanted to improve the memory on a 4 yr old machine.

Great RAM. Major speed boost in my Toshiba notebook. However 2 years down the road the chip burned out. Blue screen and a memory dump, it was shot. Wouldn't boot up. Replaced my old ram chip and the laptop works just fine. If you try to claim the "lifetime warranty" with PNY you are required to have the ORIGINAL RECEIPT!!! There are no exceptions to this. So even if you're using it 5 years down the road KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. The RAM can still become defective and without that receipt you are screwed.

The memory was very easily installed (first time I've ever opened a computer to see the innards) and worked from the first boot up. The increased speed was well worth the price paid.
