Plugged proper into my older Dell 1150 laptop and it worked just ideal. None to speak of. It appears that RAM costs are still too high, even on newegg. I mean I'm happy, but RAM nonetheless appears a little high.

Inexpensive, shipped swiftly. DOA. Method failed to POST with the memory inserted. From time to time these items happen. Memory is complex, delicate stuff. I have RMA'd it; hoping for better luck with the replacement. This was merely annoying for me, given that I just wanted it for an upgrade, but could be problematic for e.g. a program builder.

Don't replace your laptop - give your OS a fresh install and max out your RAM. I need to have upgraded years ago. I read about men and women getting issues in common when maxing out RAM. Look at laptop spec sheet to make sure you're not plugging too substantially into program board. I assume that is why some folks have had issues.

Excellent memory, works as described, was not DOA. Other than the truth it sucks to put Ram in my Laptop? Shipping took forever. was willing to give credit for a day or two thinking about the climate we have had in the midwest not too long ago, b ut I ordered it on 01-28-11, and I did not get it until currently 02-08-11. When Newegg applied UPS standard 3 day ground I would get it within 4 days, but UPS mail Inovations is crazy. If you want something swift pay for greater shipping.

effortless install (even for someone who had certainly no understanding of what RAM was prior to buying), low price tag, rebate none noted Purchased as an upgrade to my HP Pavillion zv6233nr. Started with 512MB RAM and installed 2 of the PNY 1GB for a total of 2 GB for those who suck at math. Works excellent and lets me run Windows 7 32 bit...but thats another evaluation!

Great value. No errors when tested. Sastisfied with buy None Installed in a Toshiba Satellite A75-S206. At first the memory didn't show in bios so I removed the memory and cautiously cleaned its pins and the socket with 90% alcohol and that did the trick.

Booted suitable up. Didn't price too significantly. Received my rebate check in a month (it said 6-8 weeks on the form). None. I have a six-year old Compaq Presario with a 1.three Ghz Celeron processor (yep, it was pretty slow with 512MB memory once I installed Vista). My service manual mentioned it would take up to 512MB SODIMM modules. Confident enough, these 1GB units I bought were recognized. So, they need to be fairly compatible.

I needed to upgrade the RAM in my HP zd7040us laptop so I could install Windows 7 (only had 512MB). Both sticks of RAM had been recognized as 2 Gigs in XP proper away so I was relieved. I put a fresh install of Windows 7 on it and it's like a new laptop now. I was worried I may well get a bad stick of RAM when I ordered but I got lucky. Nothing bad to report about this RAM. I wasn't positive if both sitcks of RAM had been going to operate in my HP zd7040us laptop but it did. All memory diags passed and continued to pass as they ran more than the weekend.

functions very good in dell inspiron 5160 it produced my notebook run quicker so I just order a a different 1gb to bring it to 2gb n/a

Dell Inspiron 1150 recognized proper away and gave this older laptop the pep it required. Surfing the world-wide-web is much faster. Wish I purchased one more. Haven't seriously noticed a massive difference when booting up the laptop. Nonetheless seems slow.

I slipped this ideal in to my HP laptop. It's old, but this gave it new life. The value plus a rebate - I couldn't pass this up. I would suggest this memory. None.
