PNY 1024MB PC2700 DDR 333MHz SODIMM Memory

Bought to upgrade son's college laptop (HP Compaq NX 6110). Installed RAM, memory did not work computer would not start up. Not sure why Possibly HP proprietary RAM issue? Will investigate with PNY and requested RMA from Tigerdirect. First time I have ever had an issue with product from Tigerdirect.

Added memory to a 3yr old HP laptop. On the HP website, it actually suggested PNY memory as an acceptable upgrade. So it seems that this memory was the best for getting a good product at a reasonable price. Not sure about performance yet at this time, but it does appear to have helped quite a bit, at least by nature of doubling the amount of RAM.

Was upgrading my memory, bought a Kingston 1GB unit from Best Buy, worked fine. Bought this after I found the website, was much cheaper, laptop only recognizes 512MB.

i bought this card for my mx6450 gateway laptop replaced 1 of the 2 slots i have with 512mb, laptop runs much better and smoth searches, keep up great bargins and i will pass on the word to everyone who will listen thanks again great great great deal,ewock

I took apart my ZV6000, took out the original 1GB ram and put in 2-1GB sticks of these bad boys. Works great. I recommend doing it yourself for Windows 7. You computer will thank you.

i bought additonal memory for my laptop. first contact service rep was excellent very helpful and getting me right memory. however when i called back and had a problem with the memory after buying that customer rep was terrible. his help was to buy support. i hung up on him. when someone buys a product you dont sell them support when there is an issue with the memory. todate still unresolved.

I upgraded my desktop and it worked so much faster without frustrating me, so I tried the same on my wifes' laptop and I don't hear her complaning how slow it is any more. I wish I had thought of this easy fix a few years ago.

Two sticks of memory (2GB) in my wife's older Laptop. Going from .5 GB to 2, has improved the performance and I'm not hearing about her slow computer. Saved buying another laptop.

I bought 2 of these sticks for an older HP laptop that was limping along with 256MB RAM. WOW! After the initial boot, I reconfigured the page file allotment to utilize the new gear, rebooted, and that puppy was running great. Thanks!!

I bought this because Windows crashed and I couldn't find a copy of XP. The extra gig really helped my laptop to run Vista and even increased its speed considerably. May buy one more gig.

This chip, which I put in to replace a 256 chip that came with my HP notebook, works perfectly with the 256 built in ... the online instructions for installation were easy as pie ... and I just turned the computer on, it figured out it had more RAM and voila! Fast as can be, even as a wireless! I'm VERY happy!
