This would be fantastic if you could just put jpeg photos on it. It will not accept that format. As far as an Mp3 player it is great! My 7 year old daughter lost her last Mp3 player, so I didn't want to put much money into a replacement that will proapply get lost also. But she would like to have her pictures on to show off.

For the price, there are so many features on this MP3 player. It was also easy to use. It was basically plug and play, and my 12 year old son was excited to have received it for Christmas.

For the price it was worth it. It holds a good deal of Mp3s. The problems that I find is you cannot create new playlist directly from the software. Yes you can create one playlist called the GoList. I found a freeware that imports playlist from that popular music playback program that uses an i, but only for the Windows XP platform. You can import video, but I don't like watching it on displays less than 3

Pros: Inexpensive, great for first time users (my mom was able to use it to record a lecture) Predefined equalizer settings, plus one custom setting. Durable. Cons: Takes too long to read the SD card. It reads it every time you turn it on, even if your last state was in the middle of a song. Buttons are hard to press with your thumb due to the raised radial wheel. I had to use my other hand, or off-center the device, which didn't feel natural. Turns off if dropped higher than 6 inches.

My husband uses his MP3 Player when doing yard work. His last one was damaged and I ordered this one because of the price but was pleasantly surprised with the quality, features and quality. My husband is very pleased with the ScanDisk. I am considering ordering one for myself.

This product came out in 2006 and is now out of production. The last firmware update was 08, but that also means no need to worry with any more. One poster apparently couldn't find a manual, but one is available online at SanDisk. The info for this unit is under the e200 series on the support site: e250-2Gb, e260-4Gb, etc. Check out the forum for this unit while there. I ranked the features according to what's available on the current market, but it cannot be beat for the price.

I got my wife this MP3 player and she loves it. She tells me that it is very simple and when i told her about the price, she could not believe me. I got big point that i cashed in for a whole week.

First off no manual. SD's customer support suckes. Worked for maybe a month and my computers stopped recognizing it period. this company should just stick to making thumb drives!

Bought mine last year and updated to the 'Rock box' firmware. Rock box is a open source firmware available online and makes these units ROCK! I also use Win FF for all my non music media instead of the Sansa file converter. If you need a manual for this unit you can download it from the Sansa webpage, as well as their media converter if you want it. I use my Sansa nearly everyday for work and play. I bought a nice clear case for it on ebay for cheap. I highly recommend getting the case for the belt clip convenience and the extra protection it provides. I do not regret the purchase at all. Buying one for my son for this Christmas.

I bought 2 of these for my teenagers last XMas and they love them. I had a different MP3 that I use while snowboarding. It has lasted 2 seasons but finally died this spring so it was time for a new one. Since they both LOVE theirs -- I bought one for myself. Works great !! Strongly recommend. It's great to have a rechargeable with a user replaceable battery too.

This is an outstanding product and I am very impressed. It did not come with a manual but it was easy enough to figure out. I did have to search around for the product media converter for the pictures and home video clips. The music I just copied into the folder as an external storage device. I am so impressed, I am ordering three more for Chrsitmas 2009.

It looks good and solid, but it just an illusion. The first one I got lost audio after a month and the replacement started acting erratically after the warranty run out. The tuner is all but useless and the sound quality was mediocre at best to start with. If you buy it, prepare to be dissapointed.

In my opinion the best mp3 player for the price period. I installed Rockbox, and with my 8gb sdhc card, I now have loaded all the music in my collection that I actually enjoy listening to. Also, the controls are great, much easier to use while running than my ipod (sound quality is better too). Not only that, but I ordered this product at 3pm on a Wednesday, and recieved it Thursday morning without paying for any kind of express shipping. All this for under 38 bucks. Ridiculous

Good MP3 I have one, my wife has 3 (lost 2), bought them for my older kids. They all work. I bought a 110vac to USB charger converter so we plug it in the wall. Easy to download songs once you get the hang of it with WMP. Bought the same brand newer and larger models ut like this the best. fits into a 3 cornered Sennheiser case with ear phones and is pocket sized. Will keep buying the refurbs cause they always work. Get the warrantee on this one.
