Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Comment:
inexpensive and moves the air. comes with the adapter to plug in into the 5 pin molex...if you want. as compared to getting it installed and having to deal with the extra cables in the case. not as qiuet as I would have liked. had to add a resistance adapter to it to get it to slow down. It's not a PWM Ɣpin) get a nexus fan, its worth it

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Comment:
A little bit a lot more airflow than my m40's stock fan Doesn't appear to like becoming obstructed really a lot This is the noisiest piece in my case I use this as an intake fan on an m40 with a coolermaster silent pro and two enermax magma 80mm exhaust fans and stock core duo cooling fan. I keep this fan on full speed and it is generating the most noise out of all of them. I was expecting it to blow a small bit more air than it does

Excellent airflow and low cost. LOUD humming noise--extremely annoying! Very good fan if you don't mind putting up with extra noise.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Comment:
Superb product. Really Quiet. I thought at 1200 rpm that this fan would not move much air but it's exceptional. I also bought Antec 761345-75120-9 120mm Case Fan to compare. It's half the cost but at a setting where the air output is the identical as the Scythe SY1225SL12M, it was virtually twice the noise. You get what you pay for. If you want a really quiet case, buy this fan. If you can live with more noise, the Antec fan is a superior buy. It's what is most vital to you. None so far except no switch to slow down the fan.... but who desires to if the fan is whisper quiet at full speed? Can also recommend Antec 761345-75120-9 120mm Case Fans.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Comment:
wonderful excellent compared to other people in exact same cost range, pushes a excellent amount of air though staying around the 24DBA rating. came with a three-4 pin adapter ! nothing seriously replaced my second yes second Antec Tri-Cool three speed with one of these, pushes about the same amount of air even though becoming quieter at full speed. a small high-priced but not to bad if u r searching for a high quality fan for a decent price though being as quiet as feasible this is the fan for u, quite pleased with it

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:short lifetime?????

Pros:quietno weird sounds
Comment:
I'm using this as the sole exhaust on my antec p183. Along with two PWM Slip streams on my cpu cooler, it does an adequate job of keeping my i5 2500k k 4.4ghz cool (65C on load prime 95 in a low-airflow case). the fan is good, quiet, does not buzz or vibrate. currently undervolted to 33% k 700rpm.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:A little loud

Pros:Cheap, good air flow
Comment:
I'm using this as an intake fan at the front of my case. It's a little loud. The wire came just a little bit short to reach the slot on the motherboard so I had to use the 4 pin adapter.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:- None

Pros:- Moves a lot of air - Relatively quiet
Comment:
Moves quite a bit of air and does it reasonably silently compared to my old Yate Loons. They are also only marginally more expensive. Gelid's are quieter and come with rubber mounts but these move quite a bit more air for a little bit more noise.

Cons:none

Pros:Quiet.Good airflow.
Comment:
Not Loud. Sweet Airflow. I've got this mutha sucka pointed at my gtx 460 and it keeps her super cool while gaming. Do not regret getting these over Coolermaster ones that ran louder and had an overall lower CFM for a higher price.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:None

Pros:Strong fans, good cooling, Good price
Comment:
These blow much better air than the stock Scythe fans that came with my CM 690 II Advanced case. I have replaced all of the fans in my case with these although I kind of wished i'd gone with a slightly higher RPM (maybe 1600) for a bit more air. Still highly recommended for price/cooling efficency.

Pros:Pushes a lot of airFairly well pricedQuiet
Comment:
While I doubt they push as much air as they advertise, I've been using a couple of these badboys for front intake as weall as top exhaust in my CM690 and they're doing a pretty good job as I can tell.Decently priced and powerful.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Not much in the way of accessories provided

Pros:EfficientQuietWell-priced
Comment:
Replaced the fan on a Hyper 212+ with this, and it's like night and day. Temperatures are 3° higher, but this Slip Stream 1200RPM is close enough to silent. It is an acceptable trade for me. Only a molex to 3-pin power adapter are provided in the accessory department, but it comes at a good price. 5-star fan.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Feels kind of cheap

Pros:Fairly quiet high CFM fan. Pricematched nice and cheap too.
Comment:
Its a fan, what more can you say? Probably not the best but worked fine in my cm690. Getting kind of worried though based on the negative reviews and reports of them dieing after a couple months. So far so good though. I prefer my other yate loons though. They have been going strong for over a year.

I got a few of these fans to try in my Coolermaster CM-690 case and didn't really like them. Didn't move as much air as I was hoping. Pretty well-made fans, but just not what I wanted. Ended up selling them and getting some other fans instead.

I used this to replace various fans on various heatsinks and while it is an OK fan it is not that quiet. I now prefer Gelid fans.

Very good performance and acoustics. Best part is that they were cheap and efficient. Unfortunately, they aren't the best looking of the bunch and for a case with a see-through side panel, it's not flattering.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:I doubt they push through 65CFM.

Pros:They are as quiet as the specs say.
Comment:
I am running a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme. I replaced the old "push" config (single 1600rpm Scythe S-Flex) with a new "pull" config using dual 1200rpm Scythe Slip Stream fans. The CPU temperatures at load are 2 degrees lower. Idle stays the same. I don't know what to tell you...this has not proved to be a very useful "upgrade" because I believe these fans simply don't deliver the 65CFM claimed. The S-Flex still remains "best" in my book.

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:None

Pros:Not so loud, good airflow
Comment:
I bought this since it had a relatively good dBA, and obviously having unrealistically 68.5CFM of airflow in a 120mm fan at 1200RPM at that sound level. At the end it didn't feel like it was actually 68.5, but it was still pretty good.

Cons:Doesn't "feel" that strong..not sure if the specs are misleading

Pros:Somewhat cheapPretty quiet for the cfm/speed
Comment:
These fans do what they say on the box. I picked up 2 to add to my CM690 as a top fan as well as juryrigged to the front in the 5.25 bay area. Helps move some air through the case, but nothing spectacular.
