Exceptional performance cost ratio. Runs cool. Overclocked to 3.8Ghz on all six cores effortlessly thanks to a MSI 890FXA-GD65 motherboard. I've cooled this processor with a Corsair H70. If I had taken the time to play with voltages, bus speeds, and multiplier four.0Ghz would have been achievable. Runs 29C idle, 39C load. Ambient temperature 24C, outdoors temperature up to 49C in the summer season. AMD eight Core and 12 Core desktop processors are around the corner. Converted a DVD to MKV in 7 minutes. At three.8Ghz on six core I have 92 gigaflops of processing energy. I do a lot of video and audio converting, this is a big improvement more than my E8400 @ three.6Ghz. With a HD 5870 I average 70 FPS in Crysis 2. COD: Black Ops - 160 FPS. Battlefield two : Terrible Business two - 120 FPS, CS:Source Stress Test - 590 FPS. All games in 1920 x 1080 with all settings on the highest.

Good efficiency for the value. The GTA IV benchmark maxed out my GTX 460 1G and this factor only reached 60%. Appears to be the quickest piece of my technique:Phenom II X6 1090T, 4GB DDR3 dual channel, 10k rpm velociropter, MSI GTX 460 1G 256bit, Gigabyte Motherboard 125 watt when maxed. No fancy stuff like hyperthreading, but with six cores, who wants it We'll in all probability finish up with with CPUs more like video cards with tens or hundreds of stream processors and huge RAM like caches in a handful of far more years

Runs fantastic. I was capable to overclock to 4GZ but lowered it becouse I was operating on stock cooler. CPU runs steady and is ripping quick. For the price tag the four core choice is not much slower and in my opinion packs much more bang for the buck. But in this develop I wanted the biger bang even if it expense me more. Prosessor may well not be as fast as Intell's equivilent but is way cheaper and is close in proformance.

CPU went in devoid of a single issue. The fan was a small clunky & really hard to get to attach appropriately. Had to use a little far more force than I would've liked to get the fan to attach to the mobo, but once it was all on, it was good. Utilizing any other fan aside from the a single that comes with it voids the warranty - would've liked to go with liquid cooling. This rating isn't primarily based on the business's policies, it's primarily based on the CPU itself, which is wicked fast.

Rapidly. This processor handles almost everything that I can throw at it. I have run a number of CPU intensive games at once; alt-tabbed, and surfed the net even though a film is streaming with out ever worrying about CPU usage. It's a Black Edition CPU,which generally suggests easy to over-clock out of the box. Runs at 4.1ghz steady ʁ.45v on stock cooling in my case.Intel's i7's do bench larger than the Phenom II cpus, but I cant find any cause why you would require that additional power. I can't make this thing flinch. Basically place, it is a BEAST.Wallet friendly. When you evaluate to Intel's i7 hex cores, the expense/performance is where this infant shines. It's 3 instances significantly less than the 970 and four-five occasions significantly less than the 980 and 980x. I know i7's outperform, but not by hundreds and hundreds of dollars.Bottom line; this processor is worth just about every penny. It'll last you a extended time if you pair it with a good mobo and very good ram. You'll in no way regret it. Of course, AMD hasn't made a new CPU stock cooler because ahead of Athalon Socket A processors..... mainly because the most crucial element of your Computer must run at temperatures hot adequate to fry bacon or eggs. I myself lucked out on this and received a fan that was quiet and in correct functioning order, BUT; I have about 5 of these stock coolers left from other pcs (EXACT similar ones) and they don't final. They burn up quick and make a heck of a lot of noise while carrying out it. So I'm quite optimistic I know what to count on.They also haven't changed the use of the worst latching mechanism ever conceived for mounting your nice new CPU. The processor is amazing. Runs steady @ three.8ghz and 1.425 volts. At 1.5 Volts its effortless 4ghz. The Ultimate upgrade for AMD two+ and 3. Nada. Games run really, incredibly rapid on these cores; however, I had a two core Phenom II and that sucker was just as rapid on Currently'S games. When new multi-threaded games come out in the future the 6 core will take substantially a lot more benefit.

Wonderful cpu for the price. If your building a new method yourself you saved a ton of dollars give oneself a pat on the back. (more money for that gpu you've had your eye on) The cpu itself nothing. Even so the stock cooling is a bad notion. I constantly have my bios set to alert at 60 degrees+ for temperature threshold. For any person having problems with overheating be sure to grab a affordable cooling technique. I went with a slightly older coolermaster hyper212 and it now idles at 19C and in the course of load gets to 33C max. Make sure you buy higher good quality thermal compound. same as above. (cons)

Rapidly, effective, and tons of prospective for overclocking, apparently. I love this factor, it handles anything I throw at it... I've under no circumstances noticed it choke. Only undesirable factor I can say is that the value dropped 贎 considering that I purchased it almost a year ago! Such is the price tag for early adoption... but it's been worth each cent so far. When once again, AMD is the way to go for me. You can't beat the power for the price tag.

Quickly processer. Effortless to install. Cheeper than Intel. None. NewEgg is promoting old products. Bought in 2011. Manufactured in 2009. Personally would like to get the newest item. The seal on the box was broken. I get the feeling that the processor was previously utilized.

6 cores, 赨, quickly and seams as well run cool stock heatsink is the identical issue as the 965 and it didn't operate effectively on that cpu haven't had it incredibly lengthy however but i set it up and over clocked it to four.01ghz at 1.404 volts. thats quite low voltage for that oc but it runs excellent. i ran everest on it for 12 hours and only got up to 42c idles at 30c. whilst running everest i ran an avi to dvd converter and surfed the net and couldn't notice a speed distinction or slower something. i am operating a zalman cpns10x cooler. it runs on everest as cool as my 965 idled. when i ocd it it was all bus speed no multiplier. it pulls a 7.7 in wei. i will review once again in 6 months.
