AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: None

Pros: Extremely powerful, overclocks instantly
Comment:
This is a thing of technological beauty. I've got it clocked up to a 18x multiplier with Turbo Boost and Cool 'n Quiet disabled (so all cores are at a constant 3.6GHz) and it's unbelievably powerful. I keep trying to put a strain on this thing but I'm running out of ideas. Incredible value compared to Intel's $1000 six-core offering, even if it doesn't have quite the speed.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: Price is little bit high, compare with i7, 6 core performance is still lower than Intel 4 cores some points.

Pros: A top line product from AMD. 3.2G stock speed with turbo core tech.Black edtion, very easy to do overclocking.Stock heatsink with fan, now it has copper pipe, better than before.
Comment:
This is a great cpu and i will say it is the best.I overclocked it to 4G very easy even with a lower cpu voltage than stock voltage shows on board. But the fact is that 1055t is also able to overclock like that and price is $100 lower.

Congrats to AMD for releasing an affordable 6 cores cpu to the market. This cpu just works flawlessly, best bang for the buck around.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: Stock heat sink is loud.

Pros: Good price to performance ratio.Great over clock ability.
Comment:
I am running this CPU on a Crosshair IV mobo, with a Zalman CNPS9900A LED CPU Cooler, with the resistor extender to make it quieter, and the bundled thermal paste. It idles at about 13-15 Celsius and at full load runs a steady 34 Celsius. It is comparable to a i7 920, except that the Motherboards will cost you less. The crosshair IV is a great value and you will not be able to find an intel equivalent at that price point.I will be overclocking this beast soon, z 34 load I can take it up at least another 20 Celsius.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: n/a

Pros: Affordable price, futureproof, easy to overclock., very good stock cooler.
Comment:
This proc is a steal, Considering Intel's 6 core proc runs for over $1000. I have not a single complaint about this proc. I paired it with an ASUS Crosshair IV, and I have it running at 3.7ghz, using stock cooler, and it hasn't even started to sweat. With a good third party cooler, you could easiely push it over 4.0ghz.Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Granted Intel's 6 core Gulftown outperforms this X6 but you can build a killer system for the same price as that single Intel component. This X6 cpu packs some serious performance and it's value is unbelievable, very satisfied and absolutely recommended!.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: none

Pros: speed, price point, oc potential
Comment:
This processor is a beast! Installed in an Asus 890GX motherboard with 8gb of Corsair XMS3, I couldnt be more impressed. Overclocked like a breeze, and running stress tests I can run 4 instances of prime 95 with four cores at 100% and the computer is still as responsive as if it were idle. Of course its not as fast as a top end i7, but its also 1/4 the price. Paired this with a Corsair Hydro H50 and works like a dream. Highly recomended!

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: None Found to Date

Pros: 1 Intel rivaling performance for a great price.2 Great for Over Clocking3 Runs at 37* C on full load with a H50 at silent fan speeds while oc'd to 4.0Ghz4 Beautiful at multitasking, I have been unable to experience processer related lag since purchased.6 Great at video rendering and gaming
Comment:
Purchased 6 weeks ago and I love this processer, I test it over and over, running multitasking as much as I can. I have not been able to over burden this with anything, running Crysis and Shattered Horizon along with video rendering and Winrar compression all at the same time with no lag whatsoever. It has great temperatures running 37* C at 4.0Ghz peak load on a Corsair H50. Offering Intel rivaling power for a great price, I would recommend this to anyone.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: some bios's do not allow core control yet

Pros: speed, price, silent operation, overclocking, AM2+/AM3 motherboards, stock heatsink
Comment:
Wow. All six cores running at 4.0ghz on turbo mode and load is only 37 degrees at silent fan speed stock operation. Heatsink has copper heatpipes and is AMD's best reference cooler to date IMO. Best tool to overclock is AMD Overdrive, monitors espiecally well and all sorts of options. Currently have 2 processors set at 18x multiplier and running at 3.2ghz idle and 4.0ghz turbo mode. Turbo mode seems to work extremely well, increasing speed when playing 1080P movies or games.I had LOTR 1080P playing, defense grid awakening in windowed mode, and winrar raring an iso, cpu didnt break a sweat and the movie did not skip a frame. Excellent, excellent cpu...reason why they are now sold out at most etailers across the country.Note, bios on the gigabyte 890xa-ud3 posts no problem, but cannot disable turbo and has limited options. I found amd overdrive to be a much better overclocking solution and monitoring tool.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: None as of yet.

Pros: 1. Quiet2. Excellent packaging3. Fast
Comment:
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A COMPATIBLE MOTHERBOARD! If your motherboard is not, your computer will not even POST. I had this issue, but quickly switched it over to one of my other Asus boards. I reinstalled Windows 7 and man, this thing flys! Huge improvement over my phenom II 720 that I previously owned. I have not been taxing this unit to its full capability as of yet, but using AMD overdrive, i've gotten it up to 3.6ghz with only the stock cooling unit. I have played games with it and no problems. I highly recommend this processor over any Intel. There is no way anyone can justify paying over $1000.00 for a top of the line Intel processor when you can get this AMD for $314.00. Especially when the AMD outperforms them hand over foot.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons: Could be more powerful, not a great heat sink

Pros: 6 Cores!, Overclocking, runs cool
Comment:
The Phenom X6 series overclocks so easily it's seems such a waste to go and spend 3.5X the price on an Intel equivalent. It's widely supported on all the 890 boards with no BIOS update  required, and most of the 700 series boards will run it with an update . The processor runs VERY cool on air alone, but the stock heat sink in my machine was replaced with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 (nothing amazing, just better than stock). Current idle temps are 26, and full load in a Fractal R2 case is 57. Pretty awesome, for 6 cores at 3.9 GHz on air.The processor is not the fastest on the market, and oddly loses the the 965 black in a few cases - but I am sure that the coming programs of the great future will appreciate the extra cores some day. For the cost, you can't beat this unit. A machine can be built with this processor for less than that of the Intel hex core alone.

Wait and see
Comment:
The X6 is flawed, you should have waited for the next revision, the X4 II 965 out performs this!. As with all new chips, you should let the test phase pass first. I am PRO A-D, 7th A-D chip in my system as I type. However I have seen friends rush out and buy this one, without doing the homework. Just like the X2 630 its a slow starter you pay the money, your choice, but I'd wait.

Great Processor for the Price

WEI is 7.7 with this processor. As for Awesome Bob, 5.9 is the max for XP. 7.9 is the max for Windows 7. You might want to do your research before you open your mouth.

It's an ok processor.
Comment:
7.7 isnt the greatest seeing as the 3.4Ghz 965 get's a 7.4-7.5 but as far as bob have you thought many people are using windows 7? My money says your using windows vista? but anyways save your money go with the 965 if you want a nice processor the 6 core is just a waste of money till they have time to perfect it.

This is a great product for the money; 6 cores for $300. On an unrelated note, the guy below is a D.A., and I don't mean district attorney. Windows experience index DOES show up to 7.7. 7.9 is the maximum in windows experience index.
Awesome Bob.

The guy above is a liar, but great product.
Comment:
Windows experience index ranges from 1.0 to 5.9. 7.7 is a LIE. Any how, Had the Phenom II x4 945, replaced with this. Much faster, but like everyone says, gaming doesn't benefit as much.
