Cons:Power Consumption is high (3.8Ghze1.45v consume 134W)
Pros:Good performance/price ratio. Temperature low. Comment:
I upgraded from the Phenom II x4 955. On Cinebench, I scored 4.41 with the 955 at 3.8 Ghz and 6.77 with the 1090T at 3.8 Ghz also overclocked at 3.8Ghz. [Scored 5.68 with i7 920e3.4Ghz] It ran at a low temperature of 46 degrees in the stability test. It doubled my fps in some games. |

Comment:
Processor is great with multi tasking having 6 cores at a really affordable cost. Decent CPU running all the most recent games. AMD Customer SUPPORT acts like cocky arrogant teenagers over the phone! I was getting issues with my computer and eliminated RAM, Difficult drive and other components leaving either CPU or Motherboard. So I known as up AMD technical support. Seemed regular until after I told him all my personal computer specifications. Correct right after I mentioned I had 1600Mhz RAM he asked for serial number. Following becoming told that his complete attitude changed to a cocky, arrogant 13 year old would be like. Properly sire technically you are Overclocking your CPU memory controller by running 1600Mhz RAM and have voided your warranty. Actual slick how he did that. I told him I believed RAM was diverse, he is like oh no, its technically Overclocking your CPU and have voided your warranty. hmm... this tech support guy is beginning to sound like a broken record. If a technical support informs you on one thing he must lose the cocky tone and act skilled like customer support representative ought to. Right after dealing with AMD support I think this might be the extremely last AMD product I will ever get! |

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Boring. 6 cores these days on a desktop machine isn't very exciting.
Pros:No surprises. Solid performer. Comment:
My fault. If you are trying to decide. Stick to a quad core. Be it another Phenom II x4, the i5 or the i7. |

Comment:
Bought this for use in a household server. May possibly in fact be more CPU than I seriously needed, but one way or an additional I'll locate some work for my server. Wish it wasn't quite so high priced. In a couple of months when Bulldozer CPUs come out I suspect the cost for this CPU really should drop. Due to AMD architecture this 6 core is only about as fast as some of Intel's greater end 4 core CPUs. But the lower price for this CPU takes that into account. For multi-threaded applications the further cores on this CPU must make a noticeable improvement to overall performance. |

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Not as fast as an intel high end CPU. AMD is slow to upgrade their cpu classes.
Pros:Best "bang for the buck" cpu. Comment:
Bought this for a new build along an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx mobo. This is definitely a good combo and easily overclockable to 3.8-4.0ghz. Love it! |

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:- Mediocre Performance (when compared to the competition)- Power Drain (High Power Usage especially when overclocked)- Better Alternatives out there such as the 2500K from Intel.
Pros:- Low Unit Price- Six Cores- Low Platform Pricing Comment:
I've owned a system with a Phenom II X6 for some time now. It serves as a MythTV Server offering 8 concurrent users access to Streaming TV and other Media Content. It serves its purpose well. The platform itself isn't as reliable as my Intel based servers. It does crash more often than my Intel Servers but this is likely more of an AMD Motherboard driver issue than anything else.My server runs Ubuntu Server 11.04. |

Every thing is completely stable. I'm beating the snot out of the cpus 24x7 w/oc to 3.8 and the hottest it's gotten is 107fኆc utilizing stock fan. My case is absolutely nothing special re cooling. Oc'ed just messing with multiplier and fsb a tad, no genuine tuning attempt, with 6 cores i don't need to have additional perfect now. Mebbe next week although. Didn't come with no cost beer. mem is 2x4gb g.skill ripjaw ddr3 1333 7-7-7-21 |

Cons:Doesn't run stable with more than 1333MHz frequency ram
Pros:Easily overclockable Comment:
Best price for a six core, would prefer this over the 1100T because I overclocked it anyways to 4.0GHz effortlessy and it maxes out at 60 degress and idles at 25 degrees with a Corsair H80. Best price to performance ratio! |

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-"Standard" CPU heatsink. Do the earth a favor and recycle it!-Not a Bulldozer :/
Pros:-Good for muti-tasking-Fast-When I got it price was good Comment:
When I got this CPU, it was priced at around $170-$180 range which is a good price for a six core CPU. Also when compared to my labtop which has a Intel duo core at 2.1 Ghz, it is fast. When I go to render a ten minute video, with two times "my numbers" for quality, it spits out the video in around 40-30 minutes compared to hour and more with the labtop. Also multi-task like a beast! I can render a video and play some of my games maxed with a 5FPS lost max! |

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:-not noticeably faster than my old althon x2 6400+ black edition
Pros:-good price-comes with lower profile heatsink and fan Comment:
This a pretty solid cpu, however I was disappointed to see that it doesn't offer much performance gain over my old AMD Athlon X2 6400+ Black Edition, even though this processor has 8mb cache instead of the 6400s 2mb, and that it has 6 cores instead of the 6400s 2 cores. Anyways, time will tell if it was worth the extra $$$ over the AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition. |

Pros:6 cores, faster than old q6600, easy to overclock Comment:
I bought this at 169 price, and have to say I'm pretty impressed with the performance/price - I overclocked to 3.8, though not totally stable yet. Being used as a render node for 3D animation rendering. using with MSI 870-G45 mobo (AM3) and 8GB mushkin DDR3 ram. |

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:It doesn't have 8 cores ;D. But in all seriousness, the stock cooler that comes with it is pretty bad. Its quite until gaming, but once gaming, its really loud. If I didn't use a headset, I would definitely be buying a new CPU cooler.
Pros:Extremely fast with a killer amount of Cache. Six cores at 3.2GHz. This thing is a beast, and the price makes it that much better. Comment:
This processor is the best I have ever owned. It is the fastest I have ever had, and has 6 cores. It is extremely cheap for how good it is, I am surprised Intel can keep up with there ridiculous prices. The cooler isn't the greatest, but for gaming you will probably get a new one anyways. This thing is beast, and always will be. |

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Performance vs. power consumption poor relative to intel CPUs.
Pros:Bang for your Buck, Multitasking, Unlocked for easy overclocking Comment:
Great CPU for the price. I kind of expected a bit more performance out of a 6 core CPU clocked at 3.2 GHZ. Power consumption also ramps up considerably on load and if overclocked. |
Came in fine, installed, recognized by the mobo.Rapid. Teeny Tiny Cooler, will obtain an aftermarket cooler for positive. I ran crysis and l4d2 at full settings, and this cpu handled it fine combined with a Zotac GTX 470.
