Quite pleased with the monitor , absolutely nothing incorrect . I played each and every game i had , looked super!!!!! One particular Issue Although Stuck fat red pixel in center of screen . Appropriate in center of your view , terrible . Unacceptable. ASUS won't take it . but newegg is helping me out . i emailed them and told them the issue and ive currently sent them the monitor back and awaiting replacement. On-line monitor getting can be a hassle due to pixel difficulties. Not as straightforward as just walking back into a BB or some thing if situation.

Exceptional monitor. No ghosting, didn't notice any bleeding of backlight. The settings buttons may well take some finding used to, but thats constantly been accurate for monitors. Can turn out to be extremely bright.

At 1st it looked a tiny washed out. I lowered the contrast and brightness down to the 45 range, but then the whites weren't white any longer. I just couldn't get colors to appear wealthy, whilst keeping whites from turning grey. I adjusted the gamma down a bit on my video card's controls and it looked much greater, colors were much more saturated and not washed out and whites where white as I could raise the contrast and brightness. I still thought it could appear greater so I found this cost-free system known as Monitor Calibration Wizard 1. and immediately after calibrating it, the display showed it's correct colors. Just google for it if you want to give it a try because hyperlinks are forbidden. It assists to squint your eyes when making use of this program creating it simpler to see exactly where to adjust the sliders. Prior to calibrating I noticed some ghosting of letters/numbers while scrolling up/down with black text on white backround, following calibration it went away.

Bought this as a replacement for my very average samsung 22 inch lcd, this is definitely brighter and more colourful and the extra space is great for gaming. I would buy this monitor again.

I adore this monitor, super happy I chose this 1! speakers are weak. would it kill them to make monitor speakers on par with LCD television speakers at least? SO hard to chose with all the monitor selections, I am telling you stop searching and just acquire this 1. LED is fantastic and noticable, clear, color was very good out of box, amazing value, very good price tag, high brightness and contrast ratio's blow away the competition. My other ASUS monitor has lasted forever so I believe their excellent is great.

Bright Vivid. I've turned it all the way down and it's the brightest monitor in the location. Does this run at a larger resolution than 1920x1080?

Has a excellent crisp screen and a very good contrast compared to my Samsung P2350 monitor. The speaker sound excellent enough for some thing of this cost. Applied it to hook up to a laptop and an Xbox 360 and worked nearly perfectly. This monitor is good value for the amount you pay. A weird quirk which may well not even impact most individuals. When I played ToV on the Xbox 360 through HDMI, I noticed that whilst the speakers worked incredibly properly but when I utilized the headphone jack with a pair of Sennheisers, there was quite noticeable static noise throughout parts of the game exactly where there was no ambient noise or BGM. Quite weird and isolated circumstance but like I mentioned, it ought to not truly have an effect on any person. I have not tested this with any other games as the rest of mine have ambient noises at all instances.Not really a con but I can't figure out how to lower the brightness with the buttons on the monitor. Crisp, clear and a excellent size. Used HDMI for superb picture. None Speakers are wimpy but not expected to be quite very good. Stand is okay, not in California so I don't have to worry about earthquakes.

Properly i have no notion. I paid for a monitor, was told i had paid for the monitor. The following day i was out 230$ and informed that i had purchased anything they don't have. How nice for me to invest income on something that's not there. Also i now have to wait for them to return the funds to my credit card and according to Newegg it's going to be a few day's. I have under no circumstances had a difficulty with Newegg until nowadays, now i'm just upset. A tiny warning about the monitor not getting in stock would be have been good, so now i have to wait and it's going to be yet another week till i can use my gaming Computer. NEWEGG service DO NOT ORDER Soon after HOURS!!!!!! Newegg has no notion what's in there Shop. But they will take you Cash!!!!!!!!! Like i stated i have under no circumstances had such an situation new egg service is Fast and Inexpensive but i can't trust there service anymore. Particularly when it matter's. I love these. Their bright, fast and priced very well.My only gripe is that the bezel is a little too wide, makingthem for nvidia surround/eyefinity a little less pleasing to the eye.

The colors are good, the alternatives are all useful and it's good to be able to promptly adjust to a various view with just 1 button and it has a slightly extended cable. It's just a little bit as well bright, I had to put the brightness to so my eyes won't be hurt following an hour of gaming.

For the price, I think its a great gaming monitor, for PC or console. Got the PS3 set up with it. If I had to be picky, the speakers with the monitor isn't that loud, but oh well, you're gonna get that because its monitor speakers. ASUS products are just reliable in general =]

Crisp color, reasonable refresh rate, good look, light, great overall specs. Sound good quality is decent for a 24" monitor, which signifies it does not compare to any medium to great sound program.

- 24" Wide Screen- .27 pixel- runs cool- exceptional power button place & really soft blue glow- although gaming i'm hard pressed to tell the distinction from my old Sony FW900 23" CRT Trinitron wide screen none When not gaming, I use alot of Desktop backgrounds that are dark or black (space pictures, etc) and this monitor seems to have a lot of bleed-thru at the bottom of the screen - so much so that I decided to move my toolbar back to the bottom of the screen. Other than this, it appears to be an superb monitor.

Great cost (when I got it), great stand and mounting system, preset modes (you can have various customized profiles for day and night, movies or games - really helps to have a darker one for working on white documents and a lighter one for playing dark games) Slow(er) commence up time. Takes 7 seconds from power button push to image on screen. Not negative when you commence up the computer system, but significant when you like to turn the screen off usually. Some ghosting of black text on white background (white trail following the text, caused by overshoot utilised to obtain two ms response time). Only noticeable when scrolling with a really smooth frame rate. Happy with the screen. The bottom buttons permit you to set it on edge if you want this orientation temporarily to read documents.

Almost everything, that's suitable I like anything about this monitor. Excellent color when playing WOW and with the 2 1 gig video cards running max anything it is smooth as can be. I could get a lot more of them. The value for what you get is good.

Thing looks great. This is my very first LED monitor. I also personal two ASUS VH236H monitors and its comparable if not far better excellent. I got it setup with the other ones in eyefinity and it looks good. Advised. Dead green pixel. Never shows up unless beneath black background. Its only 1 even though. A lil peeved but I know ASUS is top quality. A single slipped by even though. My other ASUS monitors haven't had this issue. Speakers? By no means used them. Like men and women have stated, they only come into play if you have a game method hooked up hdmi. The good quality isn't that poor but its better to just hook up external speakers to it.

-Incredibly vivid-Low power usage-Definitely no ghosting for the very first week. -Soon after a week of owning it, it developed a really poor inverted ghosting challenge; anything that moved left an inverted trail behind it.-A single dead sub-pixel-Color reproduction and gamma had been way off, but this is to be expected from a TN panel.-Buttons are in a extremely awkward spot and the menu was hard to navigateIt looks like the response time compensation that they applied to get the 2ms response time is way too aggressive. I'm not positive if it was just my panel or if this is a design flaw, but that level of artifacting is unacceptable. I returned this right after it developed the ghosting problem and got a Dell U2311H rather. Now this is a superior display, I'm in no way going back to TN panels now.
