It is huge. I went from a 19inch to this and the distinction is crazy. Arrived with no dead pixels, no bleeding, and so on. I haven't noticed any ghosting either. I don't know why individuals complain about the buttons. You press one particular button to cycle via inputs it is pretty widespread sense. This monitor has it all for an remarkable price tag. Be prepared to be in awe at how large this monitor actually is. I knew it was five inches bigger than my old one particular, but it is literally twice the size in width and is about 1Ǟth inch shorter than my 19inch. I have them both hooked up to the computer now so I can check my facebook even though waiting in a lobby in black ops.

Wonderful monitor, great size, love the picture quality, and probably the best in its price range. For this price I've gotten more than I expected, and not a single dead pixel on mine, though I've heard other people have had some problems with the pixels which should be taken into account when deciding to order.

This is my 2nd monitor, i purchased the 23.6" 242H half a year ago, it was out of stock now so i purchased this one, this 1 is noticeably brighter than the 242H, its buttons are also superior. I've only had it for about a week, but it appears to operate wonderful. none so far. Read in evaluations that there could be ghosting, but i dont see any.

-LED-Enormous-2 MS response-1080p-DVI and HDMI-Looks actually nice None This monitor DOES wobble a tiny bit if you have a garbage desk (mine is a ฮ melamine unit from a major box shop) like I do. I notice that if I hold the desk nonetheless when I sort the unit does not wobble so I'm going to use an L bracket to bolt the corner of the desk to the wall to stop the wobble. I have not had any blurry text or something like other people have reported although I am working with DVI, not HDMI, since there is totally reason to use HDMI more than the DVI cable I currently have hooked up. Each do 1080p and who seriously makes use of monitor speakers anyway? Not that this unit has them which is a plus in my opinion. Yes the menu buttons suck but you have to mess with them as soon as or twice ever and then forget they are even there so no biggie. Oh, no stuck pixels. If you are unlucky enough to get a single or a lot more, try a single of the programs mentioned in the other testimonials to unstick them, they will very usually be prosperous.

I want to start this evaluation by stating that I upgraded from a 4ɇ LCD monitor. The color differences from my old monitor to this one aren't even comparable. Anything looks awesome on this monitor. Games from my pc appear extraordinary, and I enjoy getting my PS3 hooked up to the HDMI. Slim style is nice, and the Power button lights up so I can find it at night. The other buttons are smaller and tougher to find, but you only set up your monitor as soon as so no major deal. Speakers aren't that incredible either, but that not why I bought the monitor Worth an upgrade if you are coming from an older model LCD. The colors really pop off the screen and looks gorgeous in just about any environment.

adore the way this monitor looks, im driving it over dvi from an XFX 5800 card. Play americas army and this really makes it appear greater than my old Viewsonic VP2030b did. Widescreen format is amazing right after my square viewsonic. Tried the speakers just to see if I could dump my 2 channel setup. I use 5.1 headphones for most everything. Could barely hear the speakers at all and left my two channel setup as is. Didnt expect considerably from the speakers so it doesnt matter. did a lot of research and virtually purchased a 27" but just believed it would be too big. I'm happy with the size of this Asus. Looks excellent with no setup and I was lucky and got no stuck pixels

Outstanding screen excellent. Excellent viewing angles.. I am extremely content with this product both for playing games and watching HD videos.If you are seeking for a monitor under 200 $, this is the one. Stand could have been better, but I guess I can't genuinely complain about that, given this monitor's excellent cost.

I've been using a benq 1920x1200 LCD for the last 5 years or so. I picked this up for my girlfriend's build and the colors are way more vibrant than my now tired looking Benq. Don't get me wrong the sharpness of the pixels is still there for with the higher res BenQ, and its still a nice monitor but the price, color vibrancy, and brightness of LED monitors are very pleasing. Again, another quality Asus product.

Good colors. Fairly simple to set up. Has tilt forward/backward alternative. When the background is white or extremely light (like a light yellow or blue), there is terrible ghosting that is incredibly distracting. This is mainly noticeable when operating in documents or browsing the internet. Games usually don't have this difficulty because of their usual use of several colors, but I have seen it. For example, if you play games with skies, like flight simulators, this monitor will probably trigger you heartache.Also, there is one particular pixel that is stuck as grey. Not a biggie although. I have a different Asus monitor that is only two years old and is getting whole-monitor RGB color difficulties when switching resolutions. I had a different difficulty with Asus motherboards lately, so regrettably I will be avoiding their merchandise from now on. Asus QA is certainly not what it utilized to be.If you're searching for a good monitor, my Samsungs have been significantly better than my Asus monitors.

Awesome display, absolutely gorgeous out of the box, haven't had time to do any calibrations but, but so far so excellent! Came with power cable, DVI and AVG. Newegg and Asus each exceeded my expectations. When the monitor first shipped it arrived minus operating LED backlighting. I was upset but it wasn't an instant concern. I shipped it back to Newegg (they paid shipping too!) and received my existing working one with wonderful turnaround time. Thanks Newegg! I did give it five eggs but did have 2 really smaller problems of nitpicking. 1: It would have been good if my 1st monitor worked, but due to the fact Newegg replaced it at no price to me (ok, it expense Ũ.11 to print out a shipping label) I was absolutely content; two: It didn't come with an HDMI cable. Don't get me incorrect, I didn't expect 1 and didn't want one but it would have been nice. Once again, this is absolute nitpicking. This is one Great monitor!

Clean picture, properly worth the money. I haven't knowledgeable any ghosting or dead pixels. A excellent purchase. Don't purchase it for the speakers. Even with all volume controls maxed out it's still quiet.

It is huge, and looks Fantastic! Obtain it, don't read the poor critiques. The only con is that you have to mess with the settings to get a fantastic picture. Not really a con tho, simply because everybody is various. I was going to get the slightly smaller LED back lit Asus, but I chose not to. It was well worth it. It has each and every input/output you require (except a digital coaxial audio output, but thats outdated) It has HDMI, DVI, VGA, Auxiliary in and Audio out/headphone jack.

Excellent monitor for the price. Solid construction. Noticed extremely little in the way of flaws in the design/construction. Can't beat this efficiency/quality to cost ratio. Really little glare. Smudge resistant screen (Not the bezel/stand even so). Quite vibrant and colorful. Buttons are awkwardly placed on the bottom. Orange power button; by no means like orange. Stand base is a small major and clunky, but solid. Stiff vertical adjustment. Found one dead (always on) white pixel middle left on the display, rather it created because my ownership. Fantastic solid monitor. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this monitor as a second monitor for my setup. I quickly realized that this monitor would have been great even if it was my main monitor rather than my peripheral one. I gave it 5/5 because you get more than you payed for.

Sweet monitors, they all were properly packed, undamaged, included their stated accesories, and worked 100%.They have a genuine energy button, and it clearly illuminates orange or blue based on status, with out getting distracting. They play properly with the powercolor minidp adaptors. They are set up for a common configuration, and if you want to use them for eyefinity there are a few factors you should be conscious of prior to you get.1. Those nice power buttons will be a discomfort in you want to use these in a 3 way portrait eyefinity group simply because the power buttons will shut the monitors off if you bump any of the monitors, simply because the energy button touches it's neighbor monitor.Also, once more, if you use this on a portrait eyefinity group the appropriate hand monitor will have to be canted in a bit because the viewing angle will make it dimmer than the others if employed in a flat aspect. Of you'll have to sit slightly proper of center. Not noticeable in darker games, but in a vibrant windows atmosphere you will notice it. If you mount these on Lubic parts, 80ተ track, or a custom created channel they will be a fixed distance apart, (But they must have a flat aspect.) and the energy buttons won't give you any trouble. I don't think they will perform in portrait mode stock due to the fact the stock stand doesn't swivel. I'm working with the VESA mounts, and they work fine.

-Excellent Picture.-Simple to Install.-No dead pixels.-Low expense and great top quality. None. Due to snow storms and New Year's, it took an extra 3 days to deliver, but I didn't mind. Setup is a breeze, just had to install the bottom part of the stand, plugged my laptop in by means of VGA and it began correct up. Didn't have to adjust a single setting and it looks wonderful.I'm using this as a second monitor for my laptop, a screen for my xbox, and watch plenty of movies on it. Picture excellent is fantastic and no ghosting as far as I can tell.For the cost and high quality of this monitor, it is a good deal. I would definitely advocate it to any person.

Had this monitor for about 2 months know, only have one small complaint. While playing Dead Island it would just turn off randomly once and awhile, not very often, but still happened. Not sure if this is the monitor or something else related to the game.Would definitely buy again.

The big desktop location is great for working on two documents or spreadsheets at when. The gloss black finish on the bezel and stand is good - just don't touch it. The black level is drastically much better than my older LCD's and there's enough contrast/brightness for almost any circumstance. Bottom mount buttons are out of the way and effortless to use. For such a big monitor, the stand is surprisingly sturdy and properly created. Zero dead pixels. I was a little worried about the 'ghosting' problems following reading some of the earlier reviews. Out of the box, there were some noticeable white trails when moving black text or the mouse across gray backgrounds. I was a little disappointed but soon after calibrating every thing, the white trails are considerably less apparent and the color is good. My 22-inch CCFL LCD ASUS at home was a small less complicated to calibrate. I purchased this for private use at work (since my employer won't get anything larger than a 19-inch LCD). Immediately after over three weeks of 8-hour+ per day usage, I am extremely satisfied. The LED backlighting is perfect for the bright workplace environment. I have to cease reading critiques as it makes me appear for complications that actually aren't that large of a deal. For the sale cost plus rebate, this is a great deal.

For the price you're paying for this monitor you can't go wrong. Having read several reviews about units with dead pixels, shakey stands,etc, I was skeptical at first. WOW, is all I can say. The response time is great, colours look awesome, lots of menu options to adjust to your preferences. I have not found any dead pixels in mine, and its primary use is gaming. The stand is not adjustable in height, but that hasn't bothered me. The brightness of LED vs. LCD takes a little getting used to, but it's a quick adjustment. I have not tried the integrated speakers, as I have better external ones hooked up and do not have much use for them currently. I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a high-quality 1080P display.
