This monitor has everything a expensive one has. Great image, LED becklight, full HD, HDMI, 2 ms, high contrast... even speakers that can be useful in some circumstances. The only thing is that I have vertical stripes and are really annoying... I thought I had a defective screen but after a while of research I found out it's because the vga connector is next to the power connector on my laptop. If I unplug my laptop it's ok. I am waiting to receive my hdmi cable, I hope it will fix this issue. Anyway, this monitor is a must buy for its price.

For the price, it has surpassed all my expectations. I have it plugged in my old late 2007 white MacBook via Mini-DVI to DVI and the quality of the image is just stunning. I have to say you have to spend around 15 minutes to get a decent picture but once that's down, you got yourself one of the best monitor for your buck, hand's down! BTW I have an XBOX 360 plugged in and it simply shines! Got this screen "refurbished" and I am 99% sure it was brand new, no dead pixels just a perfect screen!

Bright, crisp, clear. This monitor was a addition to my existing 22 inch LG. This LED backlight monitor makes whites appear brown on my LG. Good price and excellent good quality None

I bought this without doing any extensive research and I must say I did some afterwards! The quality and of Asus keeps surprising me everytime. I enjoyed it"s theater mode so far and I'm happy to see the details put into it.

I have no complaints with the monitor except for the built-in speakers.I have not done much testing with them since i will be using stand-alone ones, but I did connect the monitor to the sound output just to see what they sound like, and they are really not loud. It could be a driver issue, but still, at 100% they were barely enough for a completely silent room.I am giving it 5 stars anyway, because most people would not count on the internal speakers for decent sound.

In general, this seems like a great monitor. It looks good on my desk, is easy to use, and provides very good video quality. For the price, I think that it would be hard to find a better LED Monitor.Unfortunately, for me, I haven't been able to really enjoy the beautiful images that this monitor is producing. As soon as I turned the monitor on, my eyes started to feel strained, and I even felt a mild headache. This was a shock to me, as I've never had this issue before. On my old Dell 19" LCD, I'm able to spend entire days at the computer (literally) without experiencing any eye strain at all.I thought that this could be a brightness issue, but turning things way down hasn't helped. Adjusting things like the contrast, the RGB, or the overall illumination in the room I'm using haven't helped either. Perhaps the LED technology itself is bothering me? In any case, if I don't find some comfortable settings soon, then there's no way that I'll be able to use this monitor. That would be a big disappointment to me, as I really do like the thing, at least in theory. :P

nearly 24 inch for 赔, led means low power consumption. they type of wobble side to side if my desk gets bumped.I bought 3 of these and and on all three the default settings looked unique from each and every other (color, saturation, gama ) i had to fine tune every one th get them to look alike.I would feel that they would look virtually specifically the same, as far as image excellent goes. Taking into consideration they are led i would have imagined them to be thinner.

For 159.99$ you get the best bang for your buck, guaranteed. Almost 24" LED 2ms response timing, you won't find a better deal.The colors are rich, eyes are not tired after sitting on the computer for any amount of time.I haven't found any ghosting that people complain about. I have HD4800 series card and I have been more than happy with everything. This is ASUS quality for 159.99$ 24" 2ms - you won't find a better deal on Craiglist, under used. Save yourself trouble and buy new, with great warranty, and amazing features.

This monitor is very good picture and fast response time. no shadowing in game and very bright and clear pictures. i really did not expect this good of a monitor for the price. i usually only buy samsung but this has changed my thinking on that.

Large screen is good for multiple excel and word documents. Decent price for a 24" (23.6"actual) monitor. Text is sharp and clear. No glare in sunny room. Waited awhile for this to come back in stock.

no problems with dead pixels. works great with my PS3 using HDMI. excellent video quality. if i was being overly picky i would say the stand is a bit wobbly but this is the only minor drawback i can think of. for $180, i would definitely recommend this budget LED monitor.

This is not the first ASUS LED monitor I buy and it is definitely not the last. The contrast is very bright like all others monitors from ASUS. My only small complain is that the speakers are not that powerful.

Upgraded from a 19" Samsung flat panel. Huge difference in terms of clarity, colour and brightness. Bought this mainly for a gaming set up and was worried about ghosting/dead pixel issues but the monitor was perfect from the start. Ghosting is there, but it's very mild and you really have to look for it to see it. Speakers aren't worth mentioning but are probably better than what you'd expect. Probably one of the best LED monitors you can get at its price. Only negative feeling its left me with is making me think maybe I should have gone even larger........

3 stars because mine came defective - there's 2 pea-sized dots that have far greater brightness than everything else on the screen. Not big enough of a deal to bother shipping back for return, but these will bug me for all eternity, and it is enough to deter me from using it as my main monitor.

I've now had this monitor for a few months and I can say its the best monitor I've had ever. This ASUS VE247H 23.6IN Widescreen LED LCD Monitor 1920X1080 2MS 10M1DC HDMI DVI-D VGA and internal Speakers just simply is very very good.I highly recommend it, it's fast, color is superb and speakers although not a full sound system works for me and most users who surf and play a bit.Good Buy.
