CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons:price? well maybe not.

Pros:Performanc, Look, alternative to FW
Comment:
I didn't use other heat sinks to compare to, so I don't knowwhat to say about them, but this h50 is excellent.Running 920 n 4.2 with full load temp of 73. Linx and p95is about the same. Excellent. Far as Push Pull goes, my system runs about 5 lower with push pull.

Good product, non-existent support
Comment:
Have an AMD 965 quad core. Small OC to 3.6754Ghz. Knocked down temp from 5 degrees C. So good product. Very quiet now. I give them a 10 on the product Support on the other hand is NON-EXISTENT. Went to their website and logged three questions. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM... PERIOD.

CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons:- Not as good temps as real liquid cooling- pipes don't look as cool as if you were to install your own WC (although moddable)- Starts to get slightly loud at higher temps (still better than a Ziggy 1283's getting loud, however.)

Pros:- easy to install- quiet (until you hit 50-60+)- Fits in small cases- Quite good for the price. Pipes can be twisted
Comment:
Bought this to replace my aging Ziggy 1283 to cool my stupid hot Q6600. It can only tolerate my Q6600 up to 3.8Ghz 1.4v. Any more volts would go over safe tempsNevertheless, quieter and slightly cooler than my previous Ziggy by about a few degrees. Good buy, good for the price.

Not very good!
Comment:
I bought the Corsair H50 for my new Intel i7 920-based system I built. I didn't want to use the stock Intel cooler, as I planned to overclock the CPU. At idle, the H50 was about 5c cooler than the stock Intel. However, at load, it was also only 5c cooler!! My cpu temps went up to 95c! I removed the unit, reapplied the grease and reinstalled the cooler. Still poor temperature numbers. I have since replaced it with a Cooler Master N620, which was less expensive than the H50 and worked awesome!

Phenom II 720 h 3.2GHz. Load hits about 21C. As my first replacement CPU cooler, this is great. The instillation process went almost to smooth for having to replace the back plate and such. Fits nicely on the Antec 1200's lower 120 fan, because of the size of the RAD it cannot be placed at the top 120.

Incredible Value and Great Performance
Comment:
I was somewhat skeptical at first, however, it's Corsair! I have yet to not get a quality product from Corsair. The day I received the H50, I was very eager to install it and did so immediately and was impressed at the ease of installation! One thing to watch for is, MAKE SURE YOU USE THE RIGHT MOUNTING SCREWS!!! THE LARGE ONES ARE AMD! THE SMALL ARE INTEL! I almost ruined the back-plate as they look so similar when you're eager to try a new cutting edge product! Other than that, AWESOME! Buy this and you won't be disappointed!

Excellent budget water cooler
Comment:
Not much more can be said about this cooler that many have not already stated. That being said, I forced myself to join this website just to write this positive review! I highly suspect that it will equal any air cooler out there given the right case, fans, flow, etc. I would also bet it will not outperform a heavy duty water-cooling apparatus. It works perfectly on my i7 in a HAF922.

Better than Air Cooling
Comment:
The products works wonderfully and performs better than any air cooler. It will perform as well as very good water cooling solutions without the expense or trouble involved with those systems. A good first step towards improving over air coolers. You would have to move to a high end water cooling solution to do better.

CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons:No rubber gasket included for the fan.Only 4 screws for fan mounting....would be nice to have another set for a push pull configuration.

Pros:Quiet, cool and easy to install!
Comment:
I have dropped my idle temp from 38 to 32 and load doesn't go above 47. Huge difference from my Zalman 9700, which should go without saying. Load temp for this was anywhere from 59 to 78 depending on the speed of the fan. Due to the great air flow of my case, the board temp is not an issue with the fan blowing in as Corsair has recommended in there instruction.Phenom 2 940 at 3.2ASUS M4A79 DeluxeCoolermaster HAF 932

Are you kidding me???
Comment:
I've often wondered how a solid heat sink cooled by fins could efficiently cool anything. There is no way to move the heat away from the source quickly enough. I always thought that a heat sink that at least had some fluid in it to circulate the heat through the heat pipes. Well, this product is it. The H50 rocks. Using a AC7 Freezer Pro, I couldn't get the temps to stay reasonable. Using Everest System Stability Test maxing all 4 CPUs I couldn't keep the temps below 95C. I actually terminated at this point out of fear. Using the H50, I can't get the temps to go above 68C. I'm running an ASUS board with an i7-920 clocked at 3.6GHz. This cooling system is as good as it gets short of going to a full blown water system. It indeed does pull the hear away from the CPU and brings cooler fluids to take more heat. AWESOME!!!! If you have heat problems, BUY IT TODAY!! You will not be sorry. Casey

CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons:-it still makes noise! while the fan is always active, it is usually quiet (only loud when under load while overclocked) - it's the water pump that is annoying! At idle, the nosiest component in my system however now is the mini water pump! Not very loud, but definitely audible. Sounds a bit like a really crappy old hard drive spinning. HTPC users will be disappointed I think.-the radiator blows warm air into the case, rather than outwards, screwing up my case's airflow.-the radiator gathers dust on its surface very quickly; mine was clogged within a month. Easy enough to clean, but still annoying.-the water tubes are longer than what would seem needed for a rear case fan install. They kinda get in the way of the case's air flow. Not long enough to install in the front of the case. Good length for top of the case though maybe?-no rubber gasket included for the fan/radiator assembly.-only 4 fan screws included, making a dual fan push/pull setup trickier than needed

Pros:-compact for a liquid cooler-relatively easy to install-offers good cooling-supports push/pull air flow if you have a second fan, increasing performance a small bit. only comes with one fan though.-looks neat enough-compatible with LGA1156 (recently) and all the other major platforms.-I didnt' have any clearance problems with fitting it to my motherboard
Comment:
-since there is no active fan near the CPU anymore, your motherboard may not get the cooling it needs anymore. I recommend having some good air flow in your case if you plan on doing serious overclocking; you don't want to risk over heating things.-I can only moderately overclock my Core i7 860 CPU (~3.5ghz) before temperatures and noise start to become too high for my liking while under load. >4.0Ghz is possible, but expect to be pushing things close to their limits. This mini-liquid cooler just doesn't offer the same brute strength that larger liquid coolers can offer; a few air coolers can even out perform it. However, considering that this cooler looks kinda cool and performs very well for its price, I can't complain too much. I just wish the pump was a tad quieter. This cooler is a HUGE improvement over the stock intel cooler, although there isn't a real difference in noise levels while idling g stock settings. The stock intel LGA1156 cooler is junk; my idle temps now are 14*C, versus the 37*C i had with the intel cooler.-if you have a top case mounted PSU, there is a good chance that the radiator will not fit properly at the rear of the case. You need about 140mm x 120mm of clearance, if not a bit more, to fit this cooler in any 120mm case fan location. beware! I had to buy a new case to fit it since I wasn't aware.-installation wasn't too bad, but there is a rear mounted bracket that needs to be installed on the motherboard, which means you probably will need to take the motherboard out of the case. Instructions could of been a bit more helpful; they were mostly illustrations and I didn't have much problem following them, but it would of be nice to be told that the adjustable brackets are labeled with tiny tiny writing which I at first didn't see, instead of being left to guess which hole was for what. blah.-dont over tighten the screws when installing the cooler; you can cause weird issues; like your ram not being detected.-the cooling block came pre-pasted; no thermal paste to play around with. Easier to work with, but some people will want to clean it off an put on their own. Best Bang for the Buck
Comment:
I could not have found a better product to cool my system for the money. I liked the way it has performed so much that I have purchased another one for my second system. The installation could not be any easier. The only thing that I would recommend is to make sure that the Cooler Brackets are assembled and checked to see they line up first before attaching the backplate to the MB.

I like this water cooling solution for my i7 860. I used an Enermax fan (much quieter) instead of Corsair's stock. I don't overclock, but I do run heavy load bearing benchmarks without fail everytime.

Cons:only 4 screws for fan mountingInstructions not clear.

Pros:Quiet100% sealedWorks VERY well.Came with hardware for:LGA775 LGA1366 LGA1156 AM2 AM3
Comment:
Yes, it comes with AM3 mounting hardware in the box! (just in case you were wondering like I was) I love this thing. I have mine in a Lancool K62 and couldn't be happier cooling my 965. Although the manual and reviews state to push air into the case, that didn't work for me. I had to switch it to blow air outside the case. The heat this thing generates was too much with my Phenom II 965 140W and I found my motherboard temps getting way to high. My northbridge temps were approaching 49C idle/59 load. My case has more then enough air flow and cooling. (Lancool K62) so the top two fans push air in as well as the front fan. For dual fan push/pull method use two screws diagonally to mount one fan and radiator, and the other two diagonally to mount the other fan.

Not as impressed as I expected
Comment:
have this on an i7 920 for a little over clocking. Ran at 3.5 ghz and was seeing 78 deg after about 35 minutes. Reseated a few times, but couldn't really get any better temps, finally tried a 3rd party thermo compound (the freeze), that seemed to help a little. I have this with a push-pull into the case config. I'm not trying to dog the product, I think it's doing a good job, and it's pretty sweet to say my cpu cooler has a radiator. I was hoping to see some better numbers. Next on the list will be a new case with some better air flow, maybe that will do the trick, or maybe my i7 920 just runs a bit hotter than some others. Too many variables to say this cooler is over hyped. I still think it does the job well, just not as well as I hoped for my current set up.

CORSAIR CWCH50-1 High Performance CPU Cooler
Cons:Would work better in a push pull configurationThe tubes are kind of short which limits how you can install thisThe radiator doesn't have adequate screw holes for fans that have sealed screw holes (so you'd have to drill through the radiator fins)The instruction set is a bit weak, but it's easy enough to figure out.

Pros:Works very well (33C Idle, and 60C load)All in one product that is put together reasonably wellReasonably easy to installVery quiet fan
Comment:
If you are looking for an all-in-one liquid cooling option, this is a great place to start. You might want to keep in mind that it's good to have a few different types of screws on hand just in case, and also that if you have a tight fitting case, this might not be a good option. All in all this is a great liquid cooling option and I am very glad that I bought it!

Cons:kinda a pain to install if you gotta remove motherboard ,dont like the idea of taking air in through the rad into tower as the air is very warm, but seems to work awsome

Pros:dropped my temp by 30 degrees very quiet can oc big time

This this rocks im running asus maximus board with q6600 cpu (2.4 ghz) have it over clocked to 3.8 ghz fsb 1600 idle at 29-30 degrees. on a cpu 100 % stress test i hit 39-40 degrees and when gaming around 37. over all this unit kicks ass for the price and the quality of it. Oh and i did put a fan on either side of the rad which did make a 4 degree diff in push pull configuration. would definitely purchase again.
