Dropped my load temps 13* from the push/pull heatpipe setup I had. My Phenom II x4 OC at three.74 & 1.475V runs 40* max playing BF:BC2 at 1920X1080 for 4 hours+, max of 43* running prime95 blend for four hours+.This is all with the single stock H50 fan, push only.Inside an acrylic cube case I created myself with the mobo sitting horizontal, a 200mm fan on top rated for exhasut and two 120mm fans on front for intake (one of them getting the H50 fan). Getting the H50 blow in air barely raises any of my other temps, so don't be worried about hot radiator air exhausting into the situation.Effortless to install and the TIM that comes pre-applied is quality Shin-Etsu, so no require to replace it. Would have been good if they had kept the spring style screws rather of the newer setup they've got for the pump.Screws for attaching fan to heatsink and situation is a bit on the short finish (to avoid damage to radiator fins). I barely got it on the front face of my acrylic case Ɠmm thick). Shouldn't be a dilemma if you have a metal case though. Unit will gurgle when you initial start off it up but stops inside a couple seconds.

Operates wonderful! One of the greatest computer component purchases I have made other than switching to SSD drives. none I was able to dremel of two of the 4 legs that are on the round bracket that comes with this cooler and mount it on a server MB, SUPERMICRO MBD-H8SGL-F-O Socket G34 AMD SR5650 ATX AMD Opteron 6100 series 8ቨ-Core prepared Server Motherboard. Total h2o unit for those searching to dip their feet painlessly into the water cooling world.Pretty low-cost thinking of what it costs to appropriately preserve a full loop cooling method.Utilizes the number 1 rated Thermal Interface Material, though it's a bit thicker than I would advocate. Shin-Etsu G751 is excellent TIM no require to replace it unless you already have something on hand. I recommend scraping it off rolling it into a ball and reusing. Only much less, but it's still excellent adequate to leave in spot. You can LAP the cooling plate w/o worry since Corsair will back the warranty so extended as you don't break the seal. I've lapped each my H50 and my 955 BE and my average temp is among 29c(cold start off) to 41c when my technique is maxxed out for gaming sessions. My games never ever run below max settings. Stalker, Oblivion, Hitman Series etc. I may well see higher temps if I run CoD or Crysis but not much. I would get the H50 over the H70 but that's my preference.Had it considering that Jun 2010 and it is wonderful. Supplies only 1 fan and neither of the Corsair offerings come with a shroud to improve the cooling efficiency and lessen the noise resulting from the close make contact with of the fan blowing air across the radiator vanes.Hoses could be a BIT longer for both units but they are nevertheless reasonable.Would be good if they supplied a fan controller as well, but it's not genuinely a con because that would boost the value by at least ฮ. lolDoesn't come with these 3 issues. No maid to preserve it clean(for me).No further toggle bolts to mount an further fanƒ.5cm) and or with shroudƒ.5cm thick)And nobody to hold a n00bs hand as they begin guessing what the tubing is created of.And no water wings for them when they screw up either. xDI can live w/o the very first one the second one particular would have been good but no biggee as I did that myself with intelligent style.I'm positive you can comprehend the 3rd 1.None of these things deserves to lose an egg more than. @John K... "hoses are created of plastic..." NO they are not produced of plastic. They are nylon covered tubing. Also no intelligent builder worth their salt would mount the cooler on the door. The hoses are not extended sufficient to do so devoid of getting to unbolt it from the door when performing even the most trivial of upkeep on their system. I have a HAF 932 that I shorted the connection with the use of a cable device, which leaves me roughly 4 inches to maneuver with the door completely off the side and the plug nevertheless seated on the Motherboard. That is a stock length cable which occurs to be longer than the tubes on the H50.If you have to mount it on the door quit attempting to squeeze a dollar out of two pennies and get yourself a case that can mount a 120 to the best and mount it there. I have mine mounted in the best of the 932 with the stock 20cm fan. Mine is in Exhaust in Push/Pull with a shroud. No need to move it except to clean the radiator.

- Incredibly Quiet. This was the principal purpose I bought it am I was not disappointed.- Basic water cooling program. - I could not get the "universal" mounting bracket for Intel motherboards to match up on the back of my motherboard, no matter what way I try to line it up. Settled for getting only 3 out of four corners bolted in.- Manual and documentation is lacking.- They recommend the push-and-pull method (two fans on either side of the radiator), but only give you 4 lengthy screws. Overall, I'm pleased with it. I overclocked comfortably to 4.2ghz on an Intel i5-2500k. Temperatures idle at ㅖC (turbo improve turned off, 30C at constant 4.2ghz), and maxes out about 60C under 100% load on all four cores.I originally used the fan that came with my situation to pull air in. The RPM wasn't high enough even though 񡹨 RPM), and it idled at 40C. To get the best results, I utilized the fan that came with the H50 񢄤 RPM), and plugged the radiator fan into the CPU fan header, and the pump into a Technique fan header. If you do this as well, make positive the Sys Fan is set to constantly run at 100%.I was not thrilled about the bracket that goes on the back of the motherboard not lining up with the holes on the motherboard. I read online that there had been no compatibility concerns with the new LGA 1155 boards, so probably I just did it incorrect. Hopefully having only three corners tightened in won't impact performance.

Its the very same value as a excellent fan cooler, and possibly บ far more then a poor fan cooler. Honestly don't see why anybody would get anything various.4/ The paste that came on the plate functions just fine. No need to have to mess applying a paste and waiting for it to cure.5/ Plug + Go The fan is slightly noisier then I would prefer, but wouldn't quit me from rebuying. Seriously, why purchase a massive fan cooler thats the same price tag???? Water cooling in a modest a single size fits all package.Get to see additional of your Motherboard.Takes up less space than those ungodly behemoth Air Coolers that give Motherboards hernias employing what fan mounts are meant for on your Case. This is a solid cooler for what it is and the funds it charges. Would have been nicer to have slightly longer hoses.Would have been great if the tape was a bit thinner.Would have been nice if Corsair had one a lot more fan added so persons who don't want that uber thick H70 Radiator could have close to the identical performance proper out of the box. I'm positive that nobody would complain at a larger value if they get similar efficiency out of the H50.These are not gripes. These are just some issues I would like to see that sufficient time has passed now to make it feasible for Corsair to do. Some situations are just as well significant or too little to get great placement without some added hose behind it. I had to use the Intel inserts in my AM3 Bracket and had to thread totally via to the next set of threads in order to get the Pump installed the 1st time. It's been off for causes that are not the fault of the product. So having thinner tape in amongst the Motherboard and the back plate has been a good substitution on my portion. That other tape was roughly 3Ǟ" thick. The tape I utilised to replace it is about 1ቬ" thick. You actually couldn't get the pump mounted in the ascribed technique mainly because you had to get rid of the ring from the board Apply it to the pump and then hold the Pump to the CPU and tighten the ring down. But soon after all of this I have to say that the H50 keeps my program chilly. I would be operating 50c correct now 24ǝ if I was running a stock CPU. This is not a slight at all. I lapped my CPU. And mainly because I did and lapped my H50, my CPU beneath 100% load is a chilly 40c. I Fold 24ǝ no let up. So this is a really impressive low cost option to creating a Water Cooled rig.

Its a pretty good cooler i'm utilizing it on my AMD 1090t OC to 4GHz, the CPU remain about 50c beneath 100% load. Wasn't to poor to set up. The fan on this factor sucks. i applied it for about a week and then place back on my antec situation fan that came with my antec 1200. The fan moved great air, i feel i got a junk one tho mainly because mine produced a lot of noise There is much better air coolers out there but for the price of this i couldn't go incorrect.

Simple installation, give more space in motherboard location, and it appear cool! It holds well even when I created install and bent the hose and it still holds.I ran with AMD stock fan for Phenom X6 1090T, and I get common of 42 degree, and the fan gets loud and vibrates up and down few time during gaming (without overclock). With the new H50, it get average of 21 degree for the duration of idling, and 27 degree throughout gaming with no vibrating.I would advocate this item for gamers. not much cons, only point I noticed is the hoses connection amongst the CPU and the radiator feels affordable, but they holds, and I checked for any leaks, which are none.Corsair should modify the hose to better type, additional flexible. When I produced install, I was worried about affordable hose that I bent and may well cracks the hose, but it did not leak at all. I installed the H50 with a second fan for push-pull. Keeps factors cool. Excellent option to a full blown liquid cooling technique. Mounting was a snap. Much less difficult than most soon after market place coolers that I've installed. As for noise my 850w power provide is louder. I can't tell the thing is on and my tower is a head level correct beside my desk. Takes up a bit of room so I mounted it on the outside. If you want "true" liquid cooling then invest in a massive liquid program. If you want a excellent cpu cooler then this fits the bill. The unit does take up some room so I modded my Armor case to mount it on the back. I removed the supplied heatsink compound and employed arctic silver rather. I have a thermtake cooling method sitting on the shelf due to the fact I like this superior. If you are a significant overclocker then you most likely won't like this.

super quiet under 100% cpu load, i dont know what other people are talking about. 24c idle temps, only 43c 100% load temps. the hoses had been a bit stiff, had to perform them gently a bit to get them to sit inside the case safely. the are also a tad long if you have the rad in the rear fan spot. it was a bit tricky attaching a second fan to the radiator, being aware of that it was not designed for it, i managed to cut a few longer screws to attach the fan for a push/pull setup

This cooler is amazing for a couple of reasons1) it delivers a pretty stable CPU temperature as opposed to the stock cooler which ranges wildly i have the stock clocks on a Phenom II x6 1075t and it runs about 30C idle and possibly 45C beneath full load beautifly consistant and low tempstwo)The entire thing pump and fan are acutally genuinely quiet. In my case the only part of this unit i hear is the fan and i only hear that below full load playing games or rendering out 3ds max animations The hoses from the rad to the block are not really flexible at all. my case had a limited amount of space an i suppose that portion is my fault but it took me more than and hour to install the rad and fan assembly in my case. for that i knock off one egg.

I did a push n pull on the radiator. I had it exhaust out the back. 120mmFan - Radiator - 120mmFan. I am prepared to put one particular of these on my Intel i7 930. I have a V8 on it and it idles at 35C and hits mid 50sC below load. I know intels run hotter than AMD normally, but I am thinking I could get at least five-10C drop making use of a H50 more than a Cooler Master V8 Cost Possibly? Bigbox electronics retailer has them now on sale for ๋.99+tax, but I would rather buy from newegg anyday. Now I am questioning what a H70 would have carried out!!!

The cooling head is modest and does not interfere with other componenets on the board. Looks impressive. It is louder than the stock AMD P2x4 fan! It sounds like a little fish tank pump, but along with the pumping noise, there is a background buzzing.I am seeing only mild improvement in temps, I bought this because i was billed as becoming quiet. Its a gimmick. If for the exact same amount, you can purchase a passive heat sink that supplies the same cooling and zero noise, why would you purchase this? (The reason I bought this was the stock fan died and this was all Greatest Buy had.)Immediately after the effort of installing, im torn more than RMAing it. I will almost certainly send it back in a week. Prospective for problems down the road is too high. Manufacturer Response:You need to not be able to hear your pump. Numerous variables can contribute to pump noise and we'd like to help you in receiving the quiet operation you want. Straightforward to install on a new method. You do have to mount a back plate, so if you are buying for an existing program you have to eliminate the motherboard. Fantastic efficiency other wise. Nice searching and effortless to mount the fan and radiator to the case. Have to get rid of motherboard... The documentation is a little confusing... The CPU mount is awkward, you have to get the retaining clip and the cold plate together and the perform a twisting action, ahead of tightening down the screws. Not challenging just awkward... I like it, the value was not too poor either. I wonder how nicely the H70 would actually do??? I noticed that newegg was pairing this H50 with Intel's top rated of the line extreme processor. I'm guessing it almost certainly superior adequate for whatever you and I would use it for...

Corsair A50 max overclock on my 1090t was 4ghz and couldnt maintain it beneath 60C. Corsair H50 now my max overclock is 4.17 and never ever gets above 51C. I consider if I could push the northbridge farther the cooler and CPU could take it. The tubes could be about 1 in longer for the way I had to mount it in my NXZT Vulcan. Had to have one tube on either side of the videocard, but it operates. Keep in mind, I am making use of the NXZT's built in 120mm front fan and the Corsair's fan in a push pull setup. You will need to have some normal threaded bolts from the hardware shop at about 1in long. I would guess that my low temps are due to the reality that I have it in a push pull given that the tests I read on line recommended it will perform virtually the exact same as the A70 with two fans. Once again, you will most likely max out your northbrige prior to you max out the heat unless you got a republic of gamers MB or something.

Good watercooler, simple and straightforward to install. Excellent for introducing new people to the watercooling globe. Keeps my PhenomIIx6 Overclocked at 4.260MHz at 25C idle, 41C at 100% Load. Paired with a Zalman fan controller and four fans, I can lower the radiator's temperature by 10C! ྿C 100% Load!) This thing is wicked! The water hoses are stiff, but thats ok for me. Had to figure out how to fit them so they wouldnt interfere with the x2 side fans. I have to say i have a very quite custom setup, so it shouldnt be a dilemma. Pair this with the warranty, and i'm a pleased folk

It's a liquid cooler, it's extremely rather, it's keeps my CPU at reasonable temps. I expected much better efficiency from a liquid cooler, but that's just my opinion. I have my i7 2600k overclocked to 4.4GHz, and idles at 28C (which is low, I know), but gets up to 65C at full load, which is seriously high in my opinion. I installed a 2nd fan to the radiator, for a push / pull configuration, and but nonetheless my CPU gets fairly hot throughout gaming sessions. My GPU maxes out at 65C, that's how excellent my air flow is in my case.Honestly, you can get a excellent air cooler that will give you the very same temps as I'm finding at half the price, and the risk element (water leaking all more than your components) is next to absolutely nothing with air. If I had been to do it all more than once more, I would go with a nice air cooler.

Really very. AMD and Intel compatible. Way much better than stock cpu fan. Keeps my AMD Phenom II x4 B55 O.C @ three.six at a comfy 40c or beneath under heavy load. If you use your Pc for gaming or multimedia like photo or video editing ect and its utilized day-to-day for extended hours this is a need to have. Theres also a H60 now. And the H70. If you only use your Computer for standard home hold use like surfing the net, downloading music and videos, entry level gaming then you most likely dont want 1 of these. I gave this 4 stars due to the fact, I had to purchase a new case to make this function. My power supply was situated on the top, and the radiator from this cooler is incredibly huge. The radiator is about 1inch bigger on top rated and bottom compared to the fan. So I could not bolt the radiator down. I had to get a new case exactly where i could put the power supply on the bottom. Im not 100% if you can only use these with a bottom mount PS case. In my case it didnt work.
