Cools AMD X4 940 ten Degrees lower than Ninja Sythe B plusQuiet under standard operationBackplate makes for tight seal against cpuNicely documented and presentedLooks really goodCan be implemented in push/pull configuration by using only 2 of the screws for each fan Pump becomes noisy and feasible imminent failure after a handful of monthsCorsair's RMA method isn't as polished as others, for example OCX has a really good one. 3 months of smooth operation then intermittent ticking noises from pump presumably brought on by air bubbles reported by other owners. Concern bad sufficient to shutdown Computer not too long ago. RMA procedure at corsair not relatively slick, doesn't e-mail confirmation that you've placed a request, other report that no response will be coming, I'm waiting to uncover out.For the initial 3 months I was in adore with this cooler, I had read the difficulties with the pump but believed they were isolated.

I had doubts, I was worried about nothing at all, it's not a gimmick, it Actually is that fantastic!! I haven't attempted each and every air cooler on the market place, I just went to this 1st. I couldn't make sense of filling up all the important true estate with a large heavy heat sink/fan. I have an Antec 900 II which is a rather large case but it fills up quick. If you have no way to access the back of your board it will have to come out in order to be installed. Blame the case, not Corsair. It really tends to make me wonder how challenging I can push my CPU, the stock sink was okay but I in no way clocked beyond three.7 Ghz in fear of it running away. I was lucky to have Everything in my setup jive with no hacking or rigging but if I had been to go at it once more, this cooler would have decided which case I got. No big issues but I had to use an exhaust vent for an intake and it makes three filtered 120mm fans, plus two additional for the radiator intake and only 1 200mm out the top. Now they will need to make a VGA thermal resolution! There's a bone! It would have be even "cooler" if it would have been achievable to retain the original mounting plate that was currently on my board, it's a good stainless piece and to replace it with plastic appears silly but I guess that garantees a "universal fit". Spend attention to what you are doing. It tells you to mount the radiator initial. NO! Feel it via just before you commence. Some of the photos display clips installed in two different positions. The locking clips for my CPU are pointed towards the middle, it shows it in one pic and to the contrary in the other. Get all the screws began for the water block retaining ring, DO NOT TIGHTEN Yet! Now install your radiator. Your application will differ based on your components but I place my rad on the rear and set up the fans as intakes sandwiching the radiator. I applied two screws in just two corners of each and every fan until I get 2 a lot more:) Decide what compound you want to use, then find the block in the ring and tighten evenly. Don't make this hard! AMD 1090t OC'd to 4017Mhz 24c idle and sometimes it may reach 50c. Ambient temp was 68F, so we will see how it does this summer time. I added what I believe is a 80CFM fan for a push/pull setup knocked yet another 2 degrees off. I didn't use the pre-applied thermal paste, I employed Arctic Silver five. I didn't want to dink around comparing this and that compound, do it sensible, do it secure, do it proper, and you only do it when. The H70 has verified it's a greater alternative and if you have a truly bad heat situation, you may well want to begin there. They have verified a 13 degree C drop with it and I assume the block looks much significantly far better but you judge. The H70 already comes with a second fan and a huge radiator with more fins= surface region.AMD Phenom II 1090T BE @ 4Ghz (piece of cake)ASUS Crosshair Formula IV2X- ADATA AX3U1600GB2G9-2G 2X- XFX HD6870's2x- SATA II 360GB Seagate Barracudas??? Bought it from a nearby vendor. Silent. Keeps my i7 good and chilly. I have a fan controller hooked up to the fan it came with and I can manage it that way. Hoses aren't too long or too short. I've read that the H50 hoses are longer than the H70's. The stock HSF that came with my i7 was a tiny torqued, so the fan rubbed against the housing and it was crazy loud. Perhaps I was expecting also much. With the Intel HSF that came with my i7 960, my temps were 33 idle and 49 after heavy gaming. After i installed the H50 my temps went to 28 idle and 45 after gaming. I haven't tested a complete burn. I didn't want to make a custom loop since I have an MATX case, and it would get cramped. The block was a small tricky to get into place with the integrated clamps, but they beat the hell out of stock HSF that have the quater-turn push pins! Also, the hoses are stiff. Not a con, but FYI... I have an In Win Dragon Slayer, and the radiator and fan match nicely in the front fan slot. On the other hand, the hose rub against the back of my GTX 560 Ti. You could set up it in the major of the case, there's a 140 fan up leading, but the hoses don't bend really effectively. I really like that it keeps my CPU cool and silent, but I was expecting much more of a difference.Core i7 960ASUS Rampage III Gene X58 M-atxG.Skill Ripjaws 12Gb DDR3 Ɠ x 4Gb) Triple ChannelEVGA GTX 560 Ti SuperclockedCrucial RealSSD 64Gb SATA 6Gb/sWin 7 Property Prem. 64-bitIn Win Dragon Slayer M-atx case.1000w modular PS

It's a self-contained, closed loop CPU cooler for ~ ์. The cost to efficiency is wonderful. It works with tall RAM heatsinks, in contrast to other massively big air coolers. 29c at idle and 54c below Prime95 total load with stock fan. 25c at idle and 48c below Prime95 complete load with push/pull Yate Loon's. These temps on an i5-2500k OC'd to 4.9Ghz. Very simple to mod, if you're into that (see other thoughts). As has been mentioned just before, there is no screw guard to stop the fan screws from puncturing the radiator if you're careless. Not seriously a con, but one thing to be aware of if you're not paying consideration. I was in a position to very easily mod this unit with custom tubing and a bay reservoir in about two hours. The results look great and only ran an added ์ for the components. I consider of it as a fundamental custom watercooling loop for 贘. Wonderful starter for those searching to get their hands wet (pun).

I'm cooling an I7-950 (not over-clocked) and it dropped the idle temp about 15' Celsius. Gaming is where I noticed the massive drop in temp, went 78-81 Celsius to now 48-50. I might over clock this in the future. Incredibly simple to set up and there are plenty of how to movies out there if you are worried. none The fan for the radiator has to be setup as an intake and the front fan setup as exhaust. I set my side fan as an intake as it blows correct on my 480GTX which runs incredibly hot anyways.Intel Core i7-950 three.06GHz LGA 1366MSI X58 Pro-E LGA ADATA Gaming Series 4GBCOOLER MASTER Elite RC-310EVGA GTX480 VGA 015-P3-1480-AR GeForce GTX 480 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5

Keeps my 2500k Idle at 34C or so, when loaded with Bad Company two at full settings it doesn't go above 48C. Really quiet. The plastic tubing is a bit low-cost, looks like it can break fairly easily. Be careful with it. Wasn't confident what temperatures to anticipate as this was my very first time going with anything besides fan/heatsink. Glad I did.

Provides me a little a lot more case space ,Keeps the cpu cool (mid 20's idle). Operating 2500k at four.6 ghz and it runs cool. Making use of stress test the cpu under no circumstances goes above 48c. Fits on my 1155/p67 board. The tubes feel incredibly fragile which worries me. The platic clip that fit into the ring seem quite inexpensive and 2 of them look like they snapped. I wish they would of supplied far more. I adore this cooler and I had a Zalman prior. The H50 lowered temps by about 10c more than the zalman and I have no regrets getting this.

SUPER easy to install. Can add one more fan for push/pull.Doesn't get in the way of rams that have high heatsink. Blows air INTO the case(even even though it's not a undesirable factor). Thankfully I have two top fans to blow the hot air out. The rad could be a small bit thicker(H70 have a thicker rad)Thermal paste are not that good evaluate to other. (AC5, TX-four, IC Diamond, etc..) I have a Phenom II 1055t overclock to three.8 ghz and it peak about 50c by adding a fan shroud and replace the stock fan. I have a Fan->|shroud|->|Rad|->|Shroud|->Fan->It in fact eliminates dead spots and give a small bit superior cooling. I use a single Air Penetrator for intake and Shark(red) for exhaust. I don't want my ear to bleed by working with delta's or yate loon.I personal a H70 and I got this for a friend of mine and I got to say if you are deciding in between this and the H70. Get the h70 rather for a thicker rad. Don\'t forget that can always do the fan shroud technique for far better cooling. Cheers.

Does it's job. Cools pretty well, silent. On par with the highest finish of air coolers. Running in push/pull on a i7-950 hackintosh. Mine occasionally tends to make a grinding noise, as if a thing is stuck or a misaligned impeller. When it does this the Pc shuts down simply because it's no longer moving any water by way of the loop and overheating. I'm confident in Intel thermal management in catching it just before the cpu pops. I'll be replacing this with an air cooler soon, I can't have this machine down for the length of the RMA approach so I may well not even bother with the hassle of RMA, while I hear that corsair RMA is the least painless of the "big" companies. Others may not have this problem, bummer I did. (black ops, BC2, ect.) hoses are a bit to extended and are a bit stiff. I have an antec 1200 so a modest situation isn't the challenge. I would purchase once more.

Stupidly easy to install. If your studying the evaluations then by now you must that the motherboard has to come out to install unless your case enables you to get to the back of the motherboard.I cant post any temps as my gpu died ideal soon after set up, I will update this right after I get to test it.Again the set up is quite effortless just dont let the horrid instructions mess you up. Minus one egg due to lazy instructions, they are trash. Use them as a guide only.

Got the H50 for ํ.36 AR, and I'm making use of it with my new i5 2500k OC'd to four.5Ghz. I swapped the original fan out for two 2000RPM 80CFM fans for a push/pull configuration. With each fans running at RPM, and working with Genuine Temp 3.67, I'm averaging 30 degrees idle, and 55 through load with Prime95. Typical use temps throughout gaming, image & video editing, and so forth, don't even break 45 degrees. You can't buy an extra matching corsair fan to pair with the one particular that comes with the H50, at least I couldn't find a single. With the price of the H50 and fan customization combined, I could have simply bought the Noctua NH-D14, which is an wonderful air cooler, but I didn't want that big ugly beast in my case. I also didn't want a complete blown water kit, and the maintenance that comes with it. The H50 with two fans was perfect, and I'm very content with the outcomes.

Benefit more than huge space taking air coolers.Easy to install.Keeps CPU close to ambient temperature. Will not interfere with ram cooling fans.Crazy to really buy air cooling when you can have this unit for a small a lot more. May well sit a small as well high in some situations and some mod may well be required to prime fan in the situation. Not expected to fit a micro ATX or HTPC situation.NOT Truly CONS AS SUCH. Installed push pull technique with air flowing out of the situation.Size of screws for extra fan is 6-32 and 11ǚ" extended.Would have purchased it from Newegg at the time but received a gift card from some other place when they very first came on the marketplace.Install rad assembly initially and do not stress the hoses to fit the block. Does not matter if the Corsair sticker is up or not.

This Heatsink is extraordinary!!! Temps are actual low. Specifically considering that it is in my Lian Li micro itx situation. Large improvement more than the stock cooler that came with my I5 750. The stock cooler just about fried the CPU with running 99celcius. This cooler has the CPU running at 34 at an idle and only up to 55 although under load playing Negative Business two. None. It does what Corsair produced it for. Advise to all. No need for the H70. Trust me, this is all you need to have.
