ULTRA SUPER FAST CPU!!!!!!!!!
Comment:
Simply Amazing! I've upgraded my cpu from a Pentium E5200 2.5GHz, 2MB L2 cach, 800MHz FSB to this. I could convert an avi of 2 Hours for DVD at 120 FPS(Frames Per Second). Now I can convert the same movie at 180FPS at the same time as watching movie from Justin TV and the cpu is only at 50% usage!!!!!!

Very happy with E8400.

If your MOBO can handle a quad core, for a few more dollars, it is worth it. If your board won't take a quad, buy this one! It is a FAST and dependable chip that will serve you well.

Best Product and Deal Ever
Comment:
Very good processor, very fast and dependable. I put a coolmaster copperfinned cooler on it. The one that comes with it, I felt as not good enough for me to keep it cool, but that was my opinion.

Had it at 4.1g for two months now. Abosolutely no problems. Peaks at 47 degrees air cooled (Enzotech xTreme-x Rev. heat sink).I've got no doubt it'll run 4.5g stable, I just didn't push it that far, I'm not in a contest. There isn't much more to say than that.

FAST!
Comment:
I have always leaned more towards AMD, this being my first Pentium purchase in over 10 years I was slightly nervous. This CPU is smoking fast, and extremely stable. By far the best dual core cpu made........

This site wins again!!

I bought this to upgrade from my E6550. Unfortunately my MOBO can't handle a quad core or I would have upped it more. This little baby is quick, and with a total of 4GB of Ram,(I added 2 more gigs of Crucial 800MHZ DDR2 with the CPU upgrade) my system is much more stable. If ur MOBO and pocket can handle it, I would advise a Quad core. Otherwise a great Processor.

Great deal fast shipping
Comment:
Really what can I say about the processor other than it works and it is faster than my old one. That being said I ordered it one day and the next day it was here and that was with the free shipping, I will admit I do live close as they are based out of Chicago and I live in WI.

El cheapo strikes again!
Comment:
Great product for the price, Although its an older processor, its well worth the money. I replaced my 2.2ghz CPU with this one and will never look back. I havent even overclocked it at all yet, works great for what I use it for.

Nice
Comment:
No problems for me. Easy install, smooth start. If anyone said the fan is noisy it's possibly because the fan wires may creep up and touch the fan. I noticed this and decided to unloop a portion and wire tie some of it out of the way on the bridge above the fan. Now looks and works great. PS- I mounted the processor and fan prior to installing the motherboard to the case, this will make it much easier to ensure the fan is properly clipped to the board since you can view the other side.

Great Processer
Comment:
Runs all games cranked up with ATI 7980. Stock cooler is worse than the older ones for Pentium D's. I used an older stock cooler and it works great at factory clock speeds and above.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
Cons:n/a

Pros:fast, runs cool, high o/cability
Comment:
Bought this when it came out direct from Intel (I'm a reseller) Overclocked to 3.85, temps under load 58-60. Very fast cpu , not expensive and you can run it faster than they make 'em. Already had it a year on an ASUS P5K-E with 8G Samsung 800 Ram (running m870) and it just goes and goes. Highly recommended

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
Cons:Default thermal paste very poor

Pros:Quiet, excellent performance, low power consumption
Comment:
I purchased this for my new(ish) gaming rig, and wanted to go with a LGA775 option before it died out entirely. I am happy with my purchase - the extra cache makes everything nice and smooth. I am dissapointed to see that Intel is still using the awful default thermal paste of yesteryear, even on their 45nm processors.

Amazing product with amazing results
Comment:
Although a fairly old processor, it still outperforms most of AMD (if not all) and Intel CPU's that cost between 200 and 250, no joke. It can be overclocked to 4.2Ghz (mine is at 3.9Ghz), depending on the motherboard, memory, and cooling system of course. If any of you want to have an amazing PC that can run all games, get this CPU and top it off with Radeon 4870, you will not be sorry.

Super CPU
Comment:
E8400 CPU is the bargain of the century. Even though it is a 2 year old processor it flies. It is an extremely fast gaming cpu when slightly overclocked. I run mine at 3.3GHz, factory is 3.0GHz. I have run it this way since 2008 and never had a problem. I score 17002 3D2006 Marks with a Nvidia GTX260 and a Asus P5Q Deluxe mobo along with 4GB DDR2 Corsair Dominator DDR2 PC8500 1066MHz ram. Best bargain of the century, IMHO.
