good product

works great, ive had it for about a month and it hasnt given me problems yet. Im running it on Ubuntu 9.04, after a simple install with ndiswrapper it started working. One thing i will say however is this card does not work with WPA encryption on ubuntu, youll have to use WEP which is less secure. |

Good Enough
Comment:
The card intallation was very smooth, but the driver software disables the Windows XP Welcome Screen and the Quick Login feature. This forces users to use the "clunkier" but "more secure" login prompt, which requires a User ID and Password with each change in user. |

Good value for the money.

I had a little trouble with the install at first but it was due to the fact that I was putting it in an old computer that needed some Windows updates. If you are using XP I would suggest updating to service pack 3 before you install the adapter. |

An easy install! Super price

Ordered this to go with my Range max router I also purchased re certified roughly a year ago. After a simple download of the software from netgear's website and a few minutes this thing was up and running. I found it more practical to use Window's software to manage the wireless connection, but it comes with it's own advanced software. From order to installation, 3 days. Thanks |

Works like a charm!

No problems on the installation. Downloaded the drivers to CD and intalled on the other PC. It works fine!... I find in most cases, refurbished units are better checked then they are in the original manufacturing process. This is a good deal! |

Great deal, works great

I am always leery with recertified or refurbished items, but i purchased two of these for my home network and they have been working great. The drivers installed easily, and the network popped up upon restart. Great buy n my opinion. |

Good product, jagged installation
Comment:
Hardware install was fine, software install for Vista Home Premium 32 bit was a bit frustrating but probably a Vista issue more than a Netgear issue. I previously also had the USB Wireless atenna and had the same issue some just keep at it and it will fall in to place |

Good card for the price

This card was easy to install, however the drivers were not included and had to be downloaded. It has been working fine for me and I have not expirienced the low signal strength another reviewer had mentioned. |

Netgear WG311 54 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter

For $10 I really couldn't go wrong, and the product hasn't gone wrong yet either. I bought this when I bought my new computer from here as well and don't regret it at all. I plugged it in before ever starting up the computer, and after the Vista setup it was working instantly. The signal could be better, but for $10 it was expected. |

Netgear WG311 54 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter

This is the first time i've ever bought something from Tiger that I didn't like. But it's not Tigers fault. This card just stinks. It installed without a problem and does work, but signal strength is pathetic. My laptop gets 4 out of 5 bars right next to my desktop, but this card gets only 1. |
Works fine..only thing could be better is if a driver cd was included.
