It is a fast drive until you start to fill it like any other drive. It is small enough that it fits anywhere, also it comes with the mounting rack which is very handy. It also does not work very well on AMD because the TRIM feature does not work you have to find a program to TRIM/Clean it or leave it on idle for a long time. I have not had any other different type of SSD's so I can not compare them...I would like to get a different SSD to compare. 7.3 in windows 7 130mbs read and 30mbs write (i have two seagate 1tb drives in striped configuration for my apps and games they get 220mbs read and 200mbs write) i do have the drive setup correctly if this is my own mistake i will repost but as far as i know the drive is Really slow. This SSD drive have a good performance at first, but rapidly the perfomance decrease and I experiment a "boot disk failure" at two years of life. OCZ have replace the defective unit (very good customer service) but I have loose some data with this failure.

Excellent drive.Speed is remarkable. With all settings set appropriately, I got a 18 second boot time with Win7 Ultimate and ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO mobo.Performs incredibly, don't know what else to say. Incredibly fast and responsive drive, as all SSD's should be. Second SSD I have tested and didn't lockup Windows like the other SSD I tested. However, when I gave the laptop to the end user for him to use, it only lasted less than a month. The program doesn't even recognize the drive anymore, doesn't appear in the BIOS. Have tried plugging the drive into other systems with no luck. I have been wary of SSDs due to the fact they are new technology and continually changing. I have read about reliability concerns which lead me to the testing that I was carrying out. I would say overall this drive is a must have however I had issues with mine not being detected by my computers bios. I am in the process of going through an RMA for it. I would definitely but one of these again as the other one I bought works perfectly and never had an issue with it. I think I just got a bad one. OCZ products have always been super reliable for me.

Tiny, lightweight, rapid, Sticker My SSD Is Quicker than you HDD!Be type to your SSD and power down your system if you feel you may possibly be loosing power for any cause. Hm my fault completely. We had a bad storm here that shut off the power for a few hours. When it came back on I attempted to play Rift. Steam reported that the Rift game files were corrupted and I had to redownload them. I suspect I should have turned off and unplugged the computer before the lightning came. This is a geat intro into the realm of SSD. I have Windows 7 Residence on it, Office 2010 and still have 17 gigs free. It genuinely eliminates the access bottleneck.Newegg sent it standard mail in a padded envelope.
