I bought this SSD to match the one I bought in november to do a RAID0. Unfortunatly, OCZ changed the memory chip model and didn't change the part number of the drives.So right now Im stock with a 34nm model and a 25nm model witch if 15-20% slower than the 34nm.Still, Im running my RAID0 anyway and its lightning fast. |

False advertising. Bait & Switch.These drives will give you a 51 GB partition. So much for 60 GB. OCZ has pulled a fast one and swapped the 32Gbit 34 nm NAND for cheap 64Gbit 25nm NAND.So now, the drives do not perform as well as they used to, and there is an extra 4 GB of NAND extra reserved for potential bad sector problems.OCZ is offering an RMA for them, but they will only swap for slightly better 32-Gbit NAND - this gives you the 4GB but does not put the drive back on par with the older version.I suggest no longer buying from OCZ - I used to love their products but recently got burned on this SSD and another product which I will be reviewing shortly ;) |

Replaced my laptop hard drive with this one and it significantly increased the system speed. Boot time is much faster and computer runs a lot cooler. This SSD drive does the job well. Rebate is a credited credit card, so it is not really a cash rebate, although it is just as easy to spend as cash. |

bought 2 of these drives and i could not be happier, much faster than my kingston v sereies 30gb drives. these drives come with a 2.5 to 3.5 sata adapter that doesn't work with the 932, X, 922 etc, cases no thte drives fault. raid is easy with the ich10r on my x58 board so all in all a great purchase...wish the price would come down on these though. |

All gaming/enthusiast PCs should have an SSD boot drive.Do not install steam/steam games on an ssd of this size unless you are prepared to constantly uninstall games to make room for new purchases. Unless u can purchase a 120GB or more ssd steam should be installed on data/platter drive. Few friends had made the mistake since steam games should be run off the same drive as steam. |

Everything runs so much more smoothly than with a hard drive install. Simply the best upgrade. Win 7 Pro with several USB devices attached cold boots to a useable desktop in 30 seconds, it used to take over a minute with the same configuration. Maintenance is down too as defragmenting is no longer necessary. Worth every penny of the sale price! |

Took the plunge and purchased this drive for my Sig, tird of waiting for my onboard raid controller to "load". Lightning fast response time. Win7 boot in under 20 seconds from power on, that includes post. Right now its holding WIN7 and BC2:Battlefield. Love it with all my heart. Get one!! |

A great drive to load the os. Very fast performing, supports TRIM and so far hasn't crashed yet (unlike certain other value brand). Fast sequential reads & writes, ultra fast random i/o ... the best value ssd currently on the market. It is a 2.5in drive, so can fit in a laptop, but comes with a free mounting bracket, so very easy to put in a normal PC (just a year ago, these things used to cost an extra $10) |

This is the best SSD out there that you can buy as your boot drive. That is, the best at a resonable price. You can go with a PCI-e Revo2 ssd, but that's 4000$Who needs that ? This one does the job, and does it very well. Once everything was installed, Windows 7 64-bit booted in less than 20 seconds (that's counting the POST time, which in my case takes about 5-7 seconds, because I have a lot of hdd and optical drives). You simply enter your password, and you can start doing whatever you planned on doing immediatly. Everything loads immediatly.This is the ULTIMATE boot drive ! |

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit loading time and overall loading time is much better now.Still, SSDs are still overpriced in my opinion. I had to pay 500$ to get a decent drive for my laptop (which only holds 1 drive ...) |

Got this drive for $120 and it was well worth it. I used it on my laptop and instantly increased the performance of my computer. Boot up took half the time, applications open much faster, and my laptop stays cooler. It would also save battery life, but my battery is dead and I'm running off AC.Now it's in my desktop and working marvelously.Remember to set your SATA configuration in your BIOS to AHCI. |

Cons:- I guess I put my expectations too high on the boot times, which is why I was just a little disapointed. I saw other reviewers reporting 10 second boot times, thats crazy talk, My system cold boots in 37 seconds though which is an improvement. - Took a while to set up correctly.
Pros:- I got a sick sick SICK deal for this at 79.99 (rebate, boxing week sale, and package discount with a 1TB seagate barracuda for 44.99, another sick deal) I wasn't planning on buying an SSD but I just couldn't help but treat myself. - Programs load almost instantly. - Faster loading times in levels in games Comment:
I can't stress this enough, DO YOUR RESEARCH before installing to optimize your gains from this purchase. Lots of great info in the ocz forums. Im running Windows 7 Professional and I've got office suite, SC2, internet security, and about 10 more applications on it with 22GB to spare. |
This is one of many "all new" parts for my new systemGreat drive,but not "as" fast as my INTEL drive.Like the fast boot up time.Trim works great with W7 Pro x64,games load much quicker.
