For 50 bucks!!
Comment:
I have no complaints about this product and have had it for a few weeks. For $50 it does everything that I need it to do. I just want to listen to some music...

Good Value!
Comment:
Refurbished d260v2R looked and worked as new. Updated operating software and added 8GB micro SDHC. Loaded movies, pictures and music using Windows Media Player and Sansa Media Converter. Everything works well. Is this the latest and greatest, no, but it's one of the best values in MP3 players, with plenty of features to satisfy those who are new to the game. I like it a lot, bright blue ring notwithstanding, and have added a case and FM converter for my non-line-in equipped car. NOTE: The V2 version cannot use Rockbox, but the updated software version does allow up to an 8GB micro SDHC card.

Great buy - but not a perfect product
Comment:
Nice features, fairly intuitive, easy to use. The thumbwheel button is efficient and a nice feature. I have only two issues. The FM tuner is flakey and inconsistent. I sometimes have to turn off and on the unit to get it to tune correctly. You cannot access your mp3s or pics by folders. That would be simple and useful improvement.

A GREAT PRODUCE
Comment:
I never considered buying a MP3 Player but could not resist trying this one because of its price. I am very pleased with purchase. I downloaded the firmware update and installed it - it worked with problems. I purchased additional micro sd cards but was not aware that only a 2gb would work with the unit. The 4gb cards I bought would have to be used for my phone. I am seriously considering buying the 8gb unit. BTW, headsets or just ok. Buy a better pair and you will be good to go and happy.

Great features, fantasic value
Comment:
I bought one of these as a gift Christmas 2008. Receipient loves it. Personally, I've had mine for about a year and except for the blue ring of death it is a great player. If you get the blue ring of death try pressing the daughter board card back in. It's a small, black rectangle which seems to be covered in some type of protective foam. You have to remove the 4 screws from the back of your player to reveal the compartment where this card and the battery are.

A Good Buy
Comment:
I bought this product to replace one i had like it before. I just love it and can't tell the difference from a brand new from the refubished other than the little metal R which fell off during my trips on my college campus. other than that no complaints.

Nice unit that had many issues, died after 8 mos
Comment:
This MP3 player has lots of nice features, but I had multiple problems with it, and it ultimately died after only eight months. Worse, the Bankers extended "replacement" warranty is a joke. Read my review of that. Don't fall for it. I can't recommend this unit, and I wish I hadn't bought two more as presents before mine stopped working.

Fantastic Player
Comment:
Got for fathers day-works great-solid metal frame Will not use large micro sd 4-8g card unless you load Rockbox which is an alternative OS If Sansa would patch their firmware it probably would. I did notice they just released a newer version of mp3 player

High Quality Product
Comment:
I purchased this model (e260 4GB) a year or so ago and it still works great. I have had no problems whatsoever. It has held up well and I like the fact that it "feels" solid, if that makes sense. My parents purchased some cheap mp3 players for my kids for Christmas one year and they fell apart. I plan on replacing them with this model.

Works great.
Comment:
The item works great. I wish it was updated before it was shipped. It can be a real pain to get it to work with XP without installing a new version of Media Player. Once its updated it works flawlessly. It has a few glitches here and there when it says it isn't charged when it's fully charged. It just needs to have the power button held in for a while then it resets itself.

Its works well
Comment:
The player came promptly. It tends to freeze up at times. I have trouble getting certain music files to play. This is a refurb so that may have something to do with this. I would reccomend this for kids under 12

Good if you get a good one
Comment:
The first one of these I received worked fine for a few days, then the slot for the headset stopped working. Got on the line to customer service and arranged to exchange it for another which has been working fine. I wish this were organized so that one could set up sub-files so that it were easier to locate mp3s that aren't commercially recorded, but otherwise this has proved to be a good value.

Great MP3 Player
Comment:
Been buying cheap players from XXXX auction site and normally had them last a month or so. Was concerned about buying this unit as a refurb. For the price figured I couldn't get hurt too bad. Had it in hand in 2 days, and loaded ready to go the next morning. Plugged it in to my Dewalt Construction site radio and haven't looked back. Great battery life. Syncs well with Windows Media Player. Great little player. My only drawback, which is a personal one, is the control dial. I have very large hands, and the controls are a little hard to manage. But put it on shuffle and you don't need to touch it for hours. Good Job.

Best bang for the buck I have had in a long time.
Comment:
I bought the Sansa with birthday money about a year ago. I have been very pleased with the e260 ever since, no problems, no complaints. I would have given it 5 stars for features if it had recognized a 4GB SD micro card I bought myself as a Christmas present (2GB is the max). It is a shame that the firmware did not match the quality of the player itself. Ease of use is one thing, but quality and features should not be ignored either. While researching the problem of the SD card not being recognized I ran across Rockbox, a firmware replacement for a variety of MP3 players. This firmware really lets the e260 shine by letting you hear the full sound quality it really has. I now use my e260 on my home stereo and in the car with an FM transmitter. And the bonus is that it recognizes the 4GB SD micro card. I now have an 8 GB mp3 player that sounds like I spent a lot of money. If you don't have a lot of cash to spend, this player is worth every penny.

Great Product, great deal
Comment:
Was apprehensive about buying refurb and, sure enough, player died after 1 1/2 hrs. Got on the phone with the store's customer service and had a new player in less than 36 hrs!!! Even when there is a problem, buying from here is a great expeience. Their shipping is incredibly fast. Their service is second to none. There's really no good reason to buy from another online retailer.
