Great Product, Great Deal
Comment:
Love my new Sansa. The price was such a bargain! The only problem I'm having is iTunes won't let me transfer any of my music onto non-ipod products. But that's entirely separate from the sansa. Thanks!

Great Product, great deal
Comment:
It came promptly, looks great, works wonderfully. It took a little while to get used to the buttons and not accidentally hit the scroll wheel but its not bad. I had a bit of trouble getting video to the right format from Linux (Ubuntu) but it's easy from Windows. The screen is a bit easy to scratch but a case takes care of that. Otherwise no complaints. It sounds good, the voice recording is awesome, the radio works well, and it has no functionality issues. The battery lasts for more than 6 hours of actual use. The bad stuff is all minor and I would say more good things but there's too much. I just love it. I've had it for only about a month, so I'll write about durability later.

I got this mp3 player for christmas from my parents about 2 or more years ago and it works great! i love it. The battery lasts a long time but i recommend charging it for 8 hours before using it. The music is easy to download on it. And it's worth your money

Only drawback was having to download the Sansa software for the photo portion. But I mainly bought it for the MP3 player which is great

Check the firmware for version
Comment:
I have only had this player for a few days. I also have a Sansa Fuze which I will compare the E260 to. First the good. For a refurbished item, it looks brand new. I was very impressed with how everyghing looked and worked for the most part. After opening I immediatley looked at the back to see if I got a version 1 or 2. The back cover said it was a V2. Great I thought, I can use my 8gb card (micro SDHC), but after numerous attempts I could not get it to recognize the card. After some searching on the web I found out that Sansa will reuse parts, so if your player says V2 on the back cover it might actually be a V1. The only true way is to check the firmware. If it begin 01.XXX.XXX then you have a V1 if it beings with 03.xxx.xxx then you have a V2. In comparing the e260 to the fuze, I find the e260 to feal a bit more sturdy. The mechanical wheel does feel a bit less refined than that of the Fuze, and the buttons are a little hard to push. I think the Fuze has better sound quality

Great player!

Already had a Sanza Fuze 4gb & liked it a lot. I like small but it was just too small for my hands & eyes. Wanted one that was easier to see & operate. This one nailed what I wanted.

Sansa just keeps performing better and better.
Comment:
No disk, luckily I have a cd from a refurbed Sandisk Sansa e250 I bought last year. It made the set up easier. I have found that the white earphones are of mediocre quality and have had to replace them already. The player is great and I am happy with the 4 gb capacity.

Sansa-Best MP3 line on market!
Comment:
Sansa's MP3 line cannot be matched for performance, featues and overall value. I purchased my first E260 for my wife and have since purchaded one for our daughter and myself. Our daughter prefers her Sansa over her far more expensive other brand. Incidentally, Altec Lansing has an excellent speaker system for the Sansa 200 Series with cradle interface and remote control. In combo you get an excellent music system. If you want great MP3, go Sansa.

Purchased a total of 6 of these units and only had one that had a bad headphone jack. The rest are working great and no complaints from my kids or my sister.

No Problems
Comment:
I have has this MP3 player since January and have had no problems. I did change the earphones thou. I added a mini 4gb SDHC card and also maxed that out with music. I just put in a mini 8gb SDHC card and it works great. Really easy to use, and it syncs all of my music from Windows Media Player with no problems. Just label your music folders correctly in WMP and they all fall right into place. Just label all folders in your WMP library like ALBUM and ARTIST into a particular folder you need them to go into such as ''60's'', or the artist name IE ''Beatles'' If it does not work for you then chances are you are doing something wrong.

I love this MP3 player. Its easy to use. The only thing that I don't like is that sometimes I will push the record button when I don't want to. Maybe they should hace put that button on the top. Other than that it is a terrific product.

Good value for the money
Comment:
I've had my player for a few weeks now, and the more I get used to it, the more I like it. There were two initial disappointments that have caused me to lower my rating. 1) The ear buds provided are not Sansa - I think they were purchased at the 99 cent store. Fortunately I have decent ones I can use. 2) The memory card slot is not as useful as I expected. In MTP mode, files cannot be synced to the card, although they can be manually copied. When the card is installed, extra time is required to start up the player because the database has to be updated. The more files on the card, the longer this takes. It's so annoying I've stopped using the card. Aside from these annoyances, I'm still pretty happy with the value and performance of the Sansa.
