SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player 4GB

Product arrived in good condition and works just fine. HAS ONLY 3 MONTH WARRANTY AND DOES NOT COME WITH LANYARD AND CASE OR SOFTWARE CD = Tigerdirect should disclose this prominently. The software missing is not a hassle = just go to www.Sandisk.com support and download the firmware update and the PDF of the manual. Easy to load MP3's using Windows Explorer; I downloaded free iTunes software and imported a hundred CD's, then copied the files to the Sansa. Works like a charm. You will have to buy skin, case, etc. AND ONE YEAR WARRANTY, so value not so great once you expend for these necessaries.

I bought this for my mom for her birthday less than a month ago... fool already lost the charger... tryin to get it most cheap but can't find it anywhere... i'm feeling that if i no what the dock ends connector is called i can get it for next to nothing... anyone have a could what its called... otherwise the product is excellent she loves it

I bought 2 , both were EXCELLENT condition , the only thing I DO NOT like is the fact that it has the letters ''REFURB like glued onto the back , but theyre not too hard to get off at all. just push hard with your fingernail and theyll come right off with no permanent marks left except you might have to clean the back a little , but overall this mp3 has GREAT features , and EXCELLENT video playback and mp3 playback. video quality is smooth , and frame rate is around 35-40 FPS. overall amazing value. and very high quality MP3 player. if you are THINKING about buying this , stop thinking. start doing. it is WELL WORTH IT!

I'm a bit disappointed in the quality of the refurb product. I bought this as a gift; I've got one that I purchased ''new'' and love it. The refurb model has a scroll wheel that could use some grease and the firmware that's installed is not what's on the ''new'' Sansa e260s. The version lacks the graphic quality of the latest firmware. I've bought a laptop and a DVD burner from TigerDirect and been very happy so this surpises me.

I did have a problem getting it to work with my Vista PC at first.But i did get the software installed and shortly after it started to work.Or maybe the new Vista updates included the samsung driver.I don,t now how but it is working great on my Vista PC now.I also rebooted my PC with the mp3 player attached maybe that is what it took to get it working with Vista.It is well worth it getting a refurbished cause it is a good way to find out if you like it or not.I went ahead and got a 8 GB after the 2GB is not quite big enough for wat i need.I want to get the 16 GB in the future.

I got my refurb today.I love it!Definitly very close to my wifes nano,but much cheaper,and plays video.It even converts VOB.files.Once you get it,go to the Sandisc site,get the firmware updater,and it will update you to the latest media converter for all pics and video.Very fast conversion.Like everything about it,except crappy earbuds.Very pleased so far.

great unit, i was impressed to get 8 mb for such a low price, and it has a slot for a micro card, my apple did not.just got it yesterday and having a easy time loading it with my stuff, heard one review where guy stated it wont work with windows vista? i am still runnig xp, and have no prob, although i will be getting a new computor for the home and it will proberly have vista...hmmmmmmm

Too bad there isn't a rating for ''All Parts Included.'' When I received this ''Refurbished'' mp3 player, which I love so far, I was missing the lanyard, the carry case and the Sansa Installation CD. I have sent 2 emails to advise them of this problem and hope that it can be resolved. The player is great but I would definitely recommend checking with TD before ordering anything ''Refurbished'' so you aren't surprised if it is missing something!

5 Stars. This is a very nice product. I have an Ipod nano (3rd gen) and found the lack of an FM radio on the Ipod to be a problem. The construction is very nice and the feature set is excellent, battery life and usability are also great. The software (which will need to be downloaded from their site if you buy a refurb unit)is pretty lame, but you don't need to use it. A couple of gripes - there is no way to scroll through a song, like you can with the ipod. This is a problem if you listen to books on tape, because you have to ff through the mp3, which can take a long time. Also, the quality of the color display is pretty good, but nowhere near as nice as the ipod (probably about half the resolution), so photos and video quality are OK, at best. Finally the video conversion software doesn't work on .mpg files, so you will have to use something else to convert them to .mov, which I think is the format it wants(though I can't say for sure, since I can't convert my stuff.

The keyword here is ''refurbished''; that is why this player has almost $50 knocked off the original price. Though the player does not come with Sansa software to load pics & videos you can get up & running immediately via MS Media Player for music transfers. Should this player receive a ''1 star'' rating for not including the software CD when you can go to the Sansa website & download the software yourself...NO!!! I don't mind downloading myself if I can save $50. This player is best for music, though it has pic & video capability, the small LCD screen lacks the color depth and resolution to make it a great video / pic player. The player does a good job of organizing all your music & the jog wheel makes navigating folders/menus easy. The jog wheel's height however can make it a little difficult to press the inset buttons around the wheel. Another small con is the lack of a back lit buttons (except for the jog wheel), as long as you memorize the button placement you will be alri

I purchased this mp3 player recently and I was impressed. It's very light, and very portable. The sound quality is excellent along with great battery life. But before reading all the negative reviews about this product, take into consideration that A) Just because it is refurbished does not mean it is junk and will break. B)It is NOT an ipod, so don't expect it to perform like one. C) It does not include carrying case, CD software etc... Thought the software can be downloaded for free from SanDisk's website. (Player, earbuds, and USB cable are the only things provided)

This crashes explorer when I try Vista Ultimate, but works easily off XP. This is a sturdy product with nice appearance, easy to use, intuitive, great sound and video quality, not heavy, long battery life, recargable, and uses standard earhone jack. Drawbacks include: no belt clip, Vista compatibility, limited video formats, doesn't play while plugged into USB as drive.

I bought this Sandisk e260 model.I only had it for a few days and I love it.I can show off my photos and videos to my friends and family just like a cell phone does.You do have to go to their WEB page (SCANDISK) and download the Media Converter to do all of this which is easier than using Media Player and free.

Don't buy the refurbished model of this product if you are expecting full functionality. It does not come with the software needed to transfer pics or videos.

For all of you that are thinking about buying this. i recommend it greatly i got mine today. and it worked great. i haven't had a problem with it at all and i was really worried about it being bad and what not. but so far i've had no lockups the buttons and wheel are easy to use the menu is great and easy to use as well. all and all its a great steal of a buy
