Corsair Half-a-pack

This was a 2 pack for what would have been a really good deal with the rebate. Unfortunately, one of the memory cards was inoperative. This made the whole deal moot. This was the 2nd consecutive order that resulted in bad a RAM card. The one that worked did what it was supposed to do, but what's the point? |

Cons:None so far with any Corsair RAM that I've dealt with.
Pros:Excellent price after rebate.The 2 gig modules came up perfectly on a super cheap Lenovo system. So a great cheap upgrade for those Telus promotional machines. Comment:
This memory is a super and inexpensive upgrade for older machines. I like that Corsair rebates have been pretty straightforward, with notice of progress and a cheque. I am not a fan of the other rebate systems which issue a pre-paid credit card (with fees) |

Pros:Got it for a good price w. MIR, but also had free express shipping.It made my computer faster, (less use of pagefile)Heatspreaders feel very tough and thick, and are designed in a way that they won't catch any dust.Very easy and quick to install, no configuration whatsoever. Comment:
I am not a RAM OC'er, but personally, my overclocked FSB (raw, pre-multiplier) is 400mHZ and this matches 1:1 with the ram, so while I have not tried this at stock CPU speeds (of which I assume will work as well), the ram has functioned flawlessly with my system. I just unplugged my old ram (in case of compatibility/timing issues) and plugged this one in, and everything just worked.I am very happy with this buy, even the windows experience index thingy, says this RAM is faster than my old 2GB OCZs (I do take the windows benchmark with a grain of salt though).Good price, good item, go buy it! |

Got this kit for my HTPC build, and am very happy with it. Worked perfectly with my ZOTAC board right out of the box. requires 1.8v, which is nice - I have some OCZ that requires 1.95 and will not run at full speed on my desktop board, so seeing pc26400 b 1.8 is nice. |

Flying High with Corsair

I purchased two, 2G sticks of this memory with a barebones kit, but one stick failed 2 weeks after setting up the box. I had, unfortunately gotten rid of the packaging by then, so i couldnt return. overall the performance is good
