quickly for standard use. -none the expense! rates have creeped up over past months. i believe: Q1 2009 ㅠ, Q3 2009 ㅴ, now Q4 2009 ㆒. that isnt superior.. (this is speculation as a consumer)newegg shipping was quickly. much less than 3 days to arrive.2010.. time for ddr3?

it clicks in and works, no compatability matters ? its memory and it functions, I don't get into the tweaking/overclocking nonsense and dual channel is overrated. Honestly, does all that playing seriously speed factors up as significantly as a superior cpu or video card?

Module looks and feels solid.Effortless installation. Defective in first shipment The 2nd-shipment of memory modules functions wonderful so far for two weeks. Had to returned the initially set as they triggered the blue screen twice or three times a day. Newegg produced the return method painless.

No problem at typical use. Passed memtest86+ overnight Random Win7 BSOD in the course of restart (one stick consistently does this and the other occasionally) I had to RMA this and bought another brand (ADATA). Items have been going well from then on.

Bought these because one older stick died. Nice cheap ddr2 800 ram that works well for an aging computer.

Bought this twice. First set worked fine. 2nd set didn't work, turned out it was incompatible with the computer. I swapped it with RAM from a different computer and the RAM worked in both computers.

Appears like a good quality item but infortunately one particular of the two dimms was defective. My new Gigabyte motherboard did not recognize 1 of the dimms and would produce several short beeps (with help of external speaker) upon power then restart on its own. As soon as removed, the motherboard fired up with out a hitch. In method of RMA. Excellent price. I purchased this item since of the high ratings but unfortunately I ended up with a defective unit that caused me huge headaches. -three Eggs for this. Would nevertheless acquire this item though.

Bought these for an upgrade for my sisters-in-law machine. Significant improvement in performance and at a good price. Haven't tried any overclocking but not an issue for what the machine is going to be used for.

They do what they are meant to do and at the speed they were created to. None so far. In September I ordered this precise pair from a distinct internet site at a a lot bigger price tag sadly but that's ok. When I installed them I had problems at initially. Programs would crash and even get the BSOD. Following carrying out a fresh install of Win7 exact same thing occurred. I realized I still had my OC settings to where the memory was set to run at 900mhz because I nonetheless had two 1 gig sticks installed that had been in a position to take it. So when I adjusted the memory settings to standard almost everything worked fine. Perhaps these sticks don't OC nicely but I will have to test it out when I obtain the other 4Gigs. My old memory stick had been Corsair too and I love em.

Specs as intended. Regrettably one stick was bad and I had to invest extra money and time to RMA the sticks. One would expect far better QC from a Corsair branded item.

DDR2 ram was expensive few month back. I can still recall paying over 400 dollars for DDR3 Ram and DDR2 ram isn't much cheaper as well. Those were hard time... With the ram price lower now comes to Hard drive crisis.. Life just don't get easy.Over all the Ram is a good buy, stack up if you got the cash. For future build

The set contained two 2gb DIMMs. The 1 that worked worked nicely. One of the DIMMs didn't work requiring me to send them each back and wait for a replacement. Before I placed my order, I saw that the evaluations that had been poor had been either due to DOA DIMMs or poor gaming performance. I'm not considerably into gaming, so I thought I'd in all probability not get anything DOA. I was wrong. know it's not Newegg's fault, and they make returns actually easy, but now it's a hassle.

DRAM with heatsink, looks great. Upgraded my AMD system to 8GB of ram total. blazingly fast.

The ram appears to function fine. I got it to replace some vital ballistix that was not working properly with my amd 780g chipset motherboard. I sent my rebate information to the address supplied by corsair and the envelope was returned to me by the US Post Office and marked as "refused". For some cause, the address supplied on the rebate form appears to be invalid...at least in my isolated encounter. I've had very good experiences with corsair rebates in the past, but now they seem to have joined the host of other corporations who engage in unethical--basically fraudulent--denial of rebate practices.
