Well built memory modules
Comment:
These are very well built and should provide years of performance. Easy install, good price. System performance improved by addition of these modules. They have handled everything smoothly and without any problems. |

CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory
Cons:* none so far
Pros:* DDR2-800 Good speed* Well designed, solid build with heat spreader, not too tall Comment:
Corsair memory has always been good. I had 4 x 1GB of XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400 and replaced two with these and am running total of 2x1GB + 2x2GB = 6GB all running at 5-5-5-18 1.8V 800 MHz on ASUS m2a-vm hdmi with AMD 5600+ and system very stable in dual channel mode. Also not clearly stated on the package, but I do believe Corsair memory has lifetime warranty on ram. Got a pair of these newer C5C version on the weekly surprise specials(I believe the difference between C5 and C5C are just different heatspreader (and herhaps voltage? needs confirmation! 1.9V vs 1.8V?) and am waiting for my $28 rebate.Another thing to mention is that the place for MIR this time is in Canada, so things should be more convenient. |

Not the memorys fault!
Comment:
installed 4 gb but the machine only recognised 2.75 gb. I think thats because windows 32 bit was what was in the bundle. the mem is perfect and is the best deal out there. |

Cons:nothing
Pros:Looks cool works fine Comment:
Plays my games perfectly fine along with my CPU which is an AMD x2 245 and 4850 ATI video card on max settings. No problems so far and a manufacture that actually gave me back my Mail in Rebate. |

Best Memory
Comment:
This memory far exceeds my expectations upon installing in my computer I saw a great improvement in my desktop. Just a little side note for to other customers, don't be surprised if you've installed a 4GB memory in your computer and it only registers 2.99GB. A 32-bit system can handle up to 3GBs only. 64-bit computers can go up to 8GB and beyond depending on your system. |

8 gig came with the kit, installed fine. The rebate process is clunky; rebates are a ripoff anyway. |

Great memory kit, it works perfectly with a Gigabyte EP43-UD3L. Never had a problem getting the MIR from Corsair. |

Perfect as always. Best review.
Comment:
I bought 2 of these kits for 8GB total, at first my system wouldn't post. Little did I realise I had to offset the sticks. Instead of 11 22 on the motherboard, I had to 12 12 the sticks. 1 being teh first brother sister pair, and obviously 2 is the second. Asus M4A78 PRO Motherboard works with it perfect. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit recongizes all 8GB and no issues what so ever. Sleek, sexy and worth every penny. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. |

Failed on Install
Comment:
Inserted new DDR2 memory stiks and switched computer on. Got a succession of beeps and turned off the power. Checked sticks to ensure they were seated properly. They were. Tried to power up again. Same beeps. Removed new memory stiks and reinstalled my old ones -- everything back to normal. Am returning defective memory stiks. Very disappointed. |
