Comment:
Have a set of these operating in the machine I bought for my wife, and they've been operating fine for pretty much two years. Bought another set of them to use in a server I just built. Straightforward to install. They seem to be overclockable (can reach 900 simply), but I've in no way carried out significantly experimenting with that. It was really difficult to remove one particular of the sticks from the packaging. Was a bit nervous I may possibly damage the memory it took so a lot force. I in particular like the reality these are nonetheless readily available pretty much 2 years after I very first purchased them. At some point, I'll be upgrading my wife's laptop or computer, and I'll be able to move the 2 sticks from her machine to the server to bump it up to 8 gigs if I want.

Newegg free of charge shipping is amazingly rapid, ordered at 12ብብ and got it at 12ቧብ.TWIN2X4096-6400C5C 2X2GB DDR2 800 pair operates fantastic on Dell XPS 420 with 8GB capacity, Win7 64bit. It either work alone at 800Mhz or pair with 2x1GB 677Mhz PC2-5300 and windows knowledge index enhanced from five.9 ƓGB) to 7.1 ƖGB). the heat sink is slim and solid despite the fact that appear a small dull but it doesn't matter. None. But hope newegg can sell memory less costly. Nowadays a brand new Computer only expense about 躔. 4GB memory expense so substantially, and it's older versions. Win7 64bit Windows Encounter Index appears doesn't care about memory speed. If I only install 2X2GB DDR2 800 PC2-6400 and work at 800Mhz, it only shows 5.9 soon after resetting, it's the exact same as the preinstalled 3GB DDR2 677 PC2-5300 memory. But after I put 677Mhz 2x1GB memory back in other slots, and all memory work at 677Mhz, the index modify to 7.1. This is not what I count on just before.

Cons:Nothing noticeable

Pros:Got them when they were on sale. Replaced my 2X1GB OCZ rams.No problems so far

I wasn't expecting a huge difference, and i haven't felt such difference. I just needed more RAM capacity, and these were cheap options when they were on sale.

- excellent value - I dorked it on the rebate so it would have been even sweeter- excellent performance - I have this pair operating subsequent to a 2GB set of equivalent specs (but a note beneath) Utilizing it in tandem with CORSAIR XMS2 2GB ƒ x 1GB) (TWIN2X2048-6400) set. The issue is that even though the clocks look the similar for these two sets, there need to be some subtle differences simply because I could not post at DDR2-800 - had to drop it to DDR2-533. If I get rid of the 2GB set, I can run at complete DDR2-800, no difficulties. If you want full speed for your sets, make confident to obtain the precise identical model, though I suppose two separately tested sets of even the exact same model may possibly have issues...eh, not a major deal.

None however! I have spent two - three hours trying to make this memory function. I have considering that gone back to my old 1GB sticks since upon operating memtest, each pairs I bought had Several errors. I don't know if Newegg is selling returned memory or if Corsair's excellent manage is going downhill, but this was an awful encounter. I am currently going thru the RMA approach, but that signifies I have to wait until I get new RAM to try this all over once more. My program runs fine with the old memory in my new p5q deluxe board, but with this memory it froze up and wouldn't ever finish a boot. Incredibly disappointed so far!!!!

Looks neato, performs awesomely. I've currently tried messign with this ram beneath several distinct circumstances. Best I've got it up to is either 1T with very same timings, 4-4-4-12 at slightly lower MHz, or regular timings at 920MHz. All about wonderful RAM. Since it's 2x2GB, it's harder to OC. But that's not a challenge for folks who don't care. Plus it's not actually necessary! Program: Thermaltake M9 Mid-ATX, 630w RaidMAX Modular PSU, BioStar TA790GX XE, Phenom II X3 720 (OC and mod to Phenom II X4 @ three.2GHz), 2x2GB Corsair XMS2 5-five-five-18 Dual Channel RAM, XFX Radeon HD 4850 1GB, X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1 PCI, Samsung 1TB HD, Samsung Blu-Ray & DVDRW

Bought them to replace my last broken 2G ram, though DDR2 is quickly phased out with DDR3 being so much cheaper.Anyway, these are decent RAM, though not overclockable.4G is enough for most games anyway.

Decent expense / benefit ratio. Memory functions nicely with Vostro 420. The shipping was some of the slowest I have ever experienced. I think that it averaged, based on an eight hour day, about eight MPH from Edison, NJ to upstate NY. I guess "free shipping" is not really free!

Price tag is suitable - just ordered 4 x 2GB. Giving top rating in expectation that it performs. Will post again if any issue or with more amplification on the 8GB issue. I can't verify this however as I'm waiting on my 2 kits on the other hand a speedy world wide web search will turn this up...Particular boards with chipset P965 getting 1 will not run 8 gb at 800mhz. This might be a bus/bandwidth concern but there are quite a few reports of the machine throttling down, (maybe in some circumstances failing to boot), when attempting to start out at 800. This in all probability explains a couple of the negative remarks in earlier testimonials - not a fault of the ram in other words. I'm not an overclocker so running 557 Ok with me. Will post my expertise with this ram when it arrives. A little concerned by the number of folks who received poor sticks.

The memory appears stable, even though I'm not an overclocker. Haven't had any concerns with my machine in very some time, and absolutely none that can be traced back to this memory. Runs like a champ at the stock settings. None, truly, but see Other Thoughts. When I bought this RAM, a rebate of considerable amount was provided with it, which is what sold it for me. It was a higher quality than what I required, but with the rebate, the value would have been appropriate. Regrettably, I failed to heed the warnings of other reviewers, and Corsair has now broken my formerly-flawless record of receiving MIR checks. If you're getting for the hardware, by all signifies, please do. If there's a rebate supplied by NewEgg, nevertheless, go for it if it fits the application. But if you're leaning towards it for a rebate provided by the manufacturer (Corsair), don't bother. It seems they have a nasty track record of not sending out checks.

Used this for an older system, DDR2 is still expensive compared to DDR3 but still cheaper than a new full system. Works great, can even do some overclocking, among the cheapest for DDR2 kits and even has heatspreaders compared to generic sticks.

Never ever fails or lags even when carrying out video editing apps. Looks cool. none as far as the product goes. Rebate is various. See below. I expected a rebate check like constantly but got a debit card for ฦ bucks instead. To activate it you have to go on line and enter and verify a lot more info about your self, almost certainly so they can send you junk mail and phone calls at dinner time. Also the envelope the rebate came in looked incredibly considerably like junk mail. The only purpose I didn't toss it is since I knew it was coming.

the initial set pair with Adata DDR2 800mhz same lantecy & voltage operating no issue Rebate guideline it stink, manufacture hoping folks would buy prior to guideline date and immediately after guideline to keep away from rebating the client, newegg post these up ahead of manufacture rebate date, I wouldn't mind this if the rebate icon or discount icon isn't getting display till the date being valid to stay away from confusion and complication for all buyer.Beside the rebate, MY SECOND SET, which fall in the valid date is worst then my initial set, the worst memory company I ever buy from contemplate it's my third acquire of their memory and to be my final. The second set won't perform with my Adata memory set. Either have to use a single brand set, not like the 1st set which work fine with it. Depend how well the rebate goes for the second set and my initially set becoming return for complete refund due to the fact of rebate guidline, will come back with update and perhaps add egg or crack them away
