I bought three packages for my two year old triple channel Intel X58 technique. The memory was initially detected as 1066 MHz until I enabled the X.M.P choice in the BIOS, at which point they successfully configured at the advertised 1600 MHz. Corsair, OCZ,vital, etc. But the final 4-5 years i have bought nothing at all but G.Skill.They have seriously shot to the leading in tech and pricing the final handful of years. Functions good in my SB I5 setup. Popped it in my MSI P67A GD55. Just had to manually alter the settings in the BIOS and got it operating at 1600 as stated. Has been good and Quickly like Derrick Rose! Heatsinks are red, I like any other colour LOL! Get this!

Plopped this set of 2x4GB into my new MSI P67 motherboard with an i5 2500k, went into the BIOS and turned on XMP, and all the timings are precisely what they had been rated at on this page, and exactly what was listed in the XMP profile in CPU-Z. Shiny red heatspreaders, but not overly gaudy. They don't extend upward very significantly, so they shouldn't interfere with oversized aircoolers incredibly a lot, even though I wouldn't know this as I'm utilizing stock cooling on my CPU. This ram installed flawless into my EVGA P55 LE paired with a two.8ghz i5. Only one hundred bucks! I will quickly get a different 8gb to total 16gb. I cant wait! I hugely advisable this ram, it is high top quality. You can tell by the lovely black pcb. No difficulty operating at 1600 may possibly more than-clock for enjoyable soon. I was a bit worried about them working in my mobo as reading the evaluations, there was some concern about them becoming comb. but all 8 are seen and functioning fine. Like the red appear. Possibly will get another set of the two following BF3 is released later this year. Fantastic packaging as well ... as with something like RAM I want it protected. Ordered these as a Shell Shocker deal for 75 bucks or so, was extremely delighted to get in on that.My MB detected these properly, installed Win7 with no issues.They look fantastic, also. None.
