The fins are little high. I was able to install it but i needed to put them on the slot farthest from the CPU due to heat sink.I could not put 4 of those sticks in my case if i wanted to due to height restriction with heatsink.

Incredibly Great Ram when employed individually.Really Low-cost DDR3 1600. I got it for ๛/kit.XMP Profile. Don't obtain additional than one set for the very same PC, they won't operate. I bought two kits to get 16 GBs, and my Motherboard (ASUS M4A79XTD EVO) does assistance that a lot Ram.G. Skill appears to only match the sticks in a kit, but two identical kits won't operate side by side, on the same motherboard.I named their tech support at 909-598-6860 and they refused to support or replace my set. He rather recommended to keep RMA'ing the Rams till I get two pairs that work with every other. That is not acceptable. Each kits had zero errors in Memtest 86+ when utilized individually.Generated a hell lot of errors when four sticks were installed. I made sure that I put sticks from one kit in the slots of the identical memory bank. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerIf you will need 16GB, you ought to acquire a 16GB kit. This 8GB kit is only guaranteed to operate 8GB on a single method. You can try to match with a different kit, but we can not guarantee it due to the fact they had been not tested in that configuration out of factory. So if you choose to purchase many kits, then you ought to know that you are taking a chance for this sort of challenge. The only solutions are to try two new kits, or exchange for a 16GB kit. There is no tweaking or help we can supply that would stabilize your system. With a 16GB kit, you should have no troubles as they are pre-matched and guaranteed to operate together. -Run at native timings/speed at 1.50v which is the recommended RAM voltage for Sandy Bridge systems.-Has a XMP profile to permit for simple setup to run at max speeds with max stability. None I bought this RAM for my Sandy Bridge setup as my existing RAM ran at 1.65v and the suggested Intel spec is 1.50v.This RAM performs as expected and I have had no difficulties with it. I genuinely like having 8GB to operate with.

Excellent price tag. Got this for the duration of a Shell Shocker for ๚.99 with free of charge shipping. That terrible practice of UPS shipping it all the way to my house town, then waiting 3 additional days for the post workplace to drive it two miles is annoying.Worst part is following all that wait, one particular of my sticks was poor, failing Prime95 instantly with rounding errors. Random reboots, freezes, all at stock speeds. The other stick seems to be OK, for all the very good that does me. Going to end up spending more time waiting for shipping here, back, and here once again - as nicely as additional funds, AND have no laptop or computer for the next 7-ten days.Looks like very a entire lot of negative evaluations because I ordered, perhaps QC fell asleep for a week. Manufacturer Response:.Dear CustomerWe apologize for the inconvenience. Regrettably DOA instances can occur based on how the memory is handled right after it leaves the factory. For this reason, all G.Skill memory packages are backed by a lifetime guarantee. Affordable, looks good, runs at rated speeds. 1 of the two sticks started having problems within the 1st week. Random instability. Consistently failed memtest. Easily recognized by my P8Z68-V pro Gen3, runs at 1600 by default and can be easily OC'ed to 1800.The heatsink looks really nice;it's also not very tall so you can install large cpu heatsink such as the Noctua NH-U12P SE without being blocked by those memories.Recommended.

Looks very good in red color, matches the red LEDs on the HAF X case.Newegg is as usual Eggcelent in handling the RMA request. You rock. Random reboots on a Asus P8P67 Motherboard.I am not confident if this is false marketing or I am just gullible since I did not read the fine print. The product claims to be designed for P67 motherboards. But, it does not function with all P67 motherboards specially the Asus P8P67 Deluxe. To Lenpol on a prior comment:On some on the net forums, some suggest that decreasing the frequency to 1066 MHz may well perform. Some say growing the DRAM Voltage to slightly under 1.6V would help.My guidance, return it and uncover a compatible RAM from the QVL list from the ASUS web page.If you are as mad as I am at G.Skill for scamming us, go with Corsair Ɣx2GB) which is the only compatible 8GB memory I noticed on the Asus web page. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ClientWe are sorry to hear the memory did not perform correctly. Any RipJaws X series memory kit is perfectly compatible with your ASUS motherboard. In reality, most P67 motherboards will be compatible as we have doen thorough testing on each brand to attain ideal compatibility. There could be concerns with the memory or other hardware causing instability, but compatibility certainly isn't an problem. With any RipJaws X series, you must be in a position to enable XMP in BIOS, and everything need to operate smoothly.
