Decently solid RAM. Never had any issues with gskill ram, and this set was no different.8gb for an upgrade, and worked with the 4gb gskill set that used to be in the machine, for a total of 12gb.No serious complaints and it's nice that RAM prices are pretty cheap overall, but 8gb is a bit slim today. Not much reason not to get a 16gb set unless you're really strapped for cash. |

Got when it was ๛ a set.Operating 16GB on AMD process at 9-9-9-24 @ 1600-No DOA sticks, all four sticks worked perfectly-Color is a great red-Heatsink looks good on it-Won't have to upgrade for a incredibly long time AMD processors only use dual-channel (knew that prior to I bought, ideal RAM for the price) Like I was told, discover the guide for setting RAM up for AMD systems on G-Skill's forums. Have used G-Ability for years, by no means gotten a DOA stick. Superb memory, zero challenges. I have an Asus x58 motherboard and had 8GB ƔGBx2) of the earlier version of this memory (Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL) installed. Worked fine and required zero configuration. I utilized two out of three channels. Win64 memory overall performance was rated at 7.6.I added 8 GB a lot more this memory to an existing 8GB (previous version but voltage and timings match) for a total of 16GB. Two memory sticks share the identical channel and remaining two each and every use a separate channel. This configuration was detected completely and memory had zero problems. The Win64 memory overall performance index became 7.7. Virtual machines are happier now. It's not absolutely free. |

First I'm using this Ram in a Asus P8z77-m pro Motherboard, and as soon as the Ram was dropped into the motherboard it picked up the timing and voltage right away, but i was able to get a bit of a overclock out of them so that was nice. They would look sharp in a color themed build since the red is nice a deep. Not much else to say it works... |

Great bang for the buck!!! Place them in my Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 with a 2600k and booted up at 1600 mhz without shifting a factor. Got thies for 74.99 on a newegg sale. 5 eggs all the way. Took a wile to get to me in sothern California with the totally free shiping but im a patient man. If you get a opportunity to get this memory at 74.99 or even 99.99 you will get what you spend for and then some. |

I bought this for a Linux/Win7 build. No complaints. Paired with an ASUS P8B75-M/CSM. Only drawback is that the Pentium G630 can only utilize 1066 speeds. Not a big deal breaker as when the time comes to upgrade the CPU, I'll stil be able to use the RAM. 8GB is plenty (if not overkill) for the build.
