It seems to be an upgrade version even though the literature reads complete version. It was more affordable than the other versions of Microsoft 7

If you have the correct hardware, appears to operate ok. Substantially more rapidly and more stable than Vista by far. The disk had some type of scrunge on it that I required to clean off because it wouldn't load at initially. Also, it wouldn't permit me to load a native driver for my wireless adapter w/o serious goat roping. This entire nanny-state thing has got to quit when it creeps into software.
