Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons:No 64 bit option

Pros:Price, simplicity,versatility
Comment:
Windows 7... Simplified name simplified OS. Clean and easy to use. With a touch of shinyness but still versitile. Performs wells, stable and with almost all the built in features we've been looking for. Finally an OS that is stable and excellent right out of the box, probably the first OS i've ever used that hasn't had visible problems till a system pack release.

Excellent looking, speedy as soon as programs are written to prefetch. Slow startup unless you install Startup Delayer v2.five.138 which works like a charm to space starting programs evenly. Fairly solid, resource hog but Microsoft is heading in the proper direction I feel.

I enjoy the way this OS searches for drivers on the world wide web and then locations an icon to represent your item in it's respective spot. The widgets come in handy for news, weather, time when you are not searching the internet. World wide web explorer seems to be slower on 7 then on xp. I'm thinking about adding 2 meg to give me 3.five from 2 meg and/or replacing my video card with one with additional memory. In the mean time, I use Safari as my browser. Immediately after comparing the two OSs they both have their ups and downs. I'm keeping XP on 1 of the two systems I have and will not be buying a different 7 until the day comes when microsoft stops supporting it's security program entirely. If you are acquiring a new laptop or computer or your tough drive has just gone poor I extremely suggest 7

Unknown. Would not install beyond 12%. Had to send back to Newegg. Haven't got anything back however. I have worked on computers and installed or loaded all OS from Linux and MS. This is the first I could not get installed.

Cons: -None Yet

Pros: -Very User Friendly-Easy To Set Up

I got this on day one for my PC and this one was for a recent build. To install Win 7 is so easy. Most of the time when I have installed Windows 7 on a PC when the installation is done everything is working and no extra drivers are required. Everyone has commented too on how easy and smooth everything is. I personally love Windows 7 and would recommend to anyone.

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: - WMP 12 is unpleasant, to say the least- Some gadgets not as good as Vista

Pros: - Visually appealing- Quick load times (compared to Vista)- Less CPU and RAM usage than Vista
Comment:
I just purchased a second copy of this OS two days ago, as I have been using my previous copy for about three months, and I think it's great. I moved up from Windows Vista, and I find that Windows 7 is better in virtually all respects. I find it is faster while still being just as visually appealing as Windows Vista. It tends to work better in the Windows UI, and also runs the games and applications I have better than Vista as well. The only (minor) downsides I've found with it are Windows Media Player 12, which I just don't like, and some of the side bar changes. They don't seem to actually have a side bar for the gadgets anymore, which I think ruins the whole point. Beyond that, I can't seem to find a good stock gadget anymore, and the built-in notepad gadget isn't as good as Vistas. All in all, I think this is a good OS and would recommend it.

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit 1-Pack for System Builders
Cons: Not really a weakness, I would like the option to have outlook express 6 like "OLD_XP..

Pros: runs smooth, has great features, love the look and feel
Comment:
With it installed on a Kinglston SSD it is blazing fast! I don't have any complaints about the OS, I've been a XP buff and seem to be liking 7 as much or more. The only bug I've found is it uses DX-11 and my video card only supports DX-10. It looks like I may have to upgrade to a newer video card.

I have been suffering with Windows Vista for the last year and a half, I kinda feel Microsoft should have given us '7' for free, but it isn't even worth thinking about it twice. Upgrade or buy an Apple.

I bought this operating system to install on my new computer, and not working with Windows 7 before, didn't quite know what to expect. I installed Windows 7 on my computer and have loved it since. The price was better than anywhere else I shopped. I recommend this item for installing on a new computer.

I did a clean install on an old Dell 4400 Pentium 4 with 1.5 gb ram. NO PROBLEMS. Windows 7 Advisor accurately predicted which cards and software needed upgrading from XP. Back up your files and do a clean install. It looks like MS got their act together on Win 7.

I have a 32 bit sys & perifials so I needed the 32bit Version. Its not quite the 64bit perfomance of my newer sys but it's way better than Vista! Throw Vista Away!! & If you have a 64Bit Processor Get the 64 Bit Ver.!!

Windows 7
Comment:
Overall the product itself is pretty nice. It does seem to make the computer move a little faster, and there are some pretty good features that you can find links to. The only problem that you may run across is if you have a 64 bit system. You will then have to custom install, instead of just update, and wipe everything off your hard drive. However, it will put all your old program files into a file called Windows.old, for record purposes, but they won't be usable. So, as long as you have a back up disk with important stuff or software, your good to go.

Installation was simple. When I installed ZoneAlarm the computer locked up. I installed Win7 again and don't use ZoneAlarm now. I use Microsoft Security Essentials and all is fine. I have been using it for 3-4 weeks now. I am really happy with it.

I used this product to install Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro using bootcamp. It was an OK product. I really recommend getting Windows XP though for bootcamp. Note: You also want to be inside your home when the product is delivered because if you're not there, they won't leave it at your doorstep if you don't tell them to beforehand.

Windows 7
Comment:
I give all good marks on Windows 7. It has a great value for what you spend for it (compared to Vista). The features excited me like when I first saw XP and they work correctly and easily like XP. The quality is top notch; I truly feel that Microsoft created a product that I could have on my gaming computer and it has all the beautiful effects I'd want with out the huge slow down like Vista. The performance is great. I have not yet had any problems what so ever.
