What can you really say about a PSU? It works well enough and doesn't seem to run too hot. My only gripe with it is that it seems to have short power cables which may be a problem for some people and are definitely a headache when it comes to cable management. Also there is the dreaded OCZ rebate but that is another story for a another day.

Once upon a time power supplies were not "sexy" and didn't cost too much, then the quality got so bad that it gave rise to the boutique power supply craze. Yes, clean reliable power is very important, but it doesn't require bling or a $100 price tag. Hopefully this unit, if the rebate cheque ever comes, fits the bill accordingly.

These power supplys may have a low price, but their worksmanship is not cheap. A very nice rocker switch on the back to cut power and each unit has a good amount of heft to it. I was hesitant about modular PSU units and owning two of these in each of my desktops for the last two months has really changed my mind.I am very satisfied with these in mu own desktops and will probably use them in builds for friends.

I got this on sale for 65 $ - 20 MIR . for that price it was worth it but when i saw there was only 2 Pci=e power connecteor i was a bit disapointed. but other then that it seem like a good unit.

I bought with for a quad core gaming system and so far things are running smoothly. The system is overclocked and still works fine. Power won't be an issue as there are 700W to go around and the modular cables keep things looking neat and tidy. The black and red go well with an AMD/ ATI system and it's fairly silent. I wish that mail in rebates would be eliminated as they are a waste of time and I still haven't received 2 of mine from 7 months ago.

This is a great power supply. It runs nice and silent and generates almost no heat. Cables could be slightly longer (for cable management) but not short enough for it to be a negative. Recommended.

Received this about a week and a half ago, installed with no issues. The design is sleek and effective. I read some hardcore reviews that show it doesn't perform as well as labelled on the box during testing at hardocp but overall seems to work great for me. Some people expressed concerns about cable length but it fits my Antec Sonata case just fine. My biggest annoyance has to be the 30 dollar mail in rebate.Overall it's hard to beat for a price of 39.99 after the annoying rebate. OCZ is a good brand and hopefully I won't have to replace this like my old power supply, at least this comes with a 3 year warranty.

Just got this think in the mail today. I was a little hesitant at the time of purchase, as it wasn't a corsair, Seasonic, etc. power supply. Also I had heard that the cables were short. However having short cables wasn't that big an issue to me as this will eventually be going in a 4U chassis where everything will be nice and close together. The first thing I noticed when i pulled it out of the box was that its nice and heavy. I plugged it into my desktop and it works great. Also the cables are a bit short in comparison to my hx620, but its currently sitting on the floor outside my Antec 1200 and it reaches everything just fine. The 4 pin motherboard connector is about the same length as the Corsair. The sata connectors reach all the way to the top of the case without issue. So the cable length isn't all that bad. Might be a bit tighter if i ran the cables behind the motherboard tray, but this is a full tower chassis. But the cable length isn't near as big an issue as I was led to believe. This will fit fine in most full tower chassis and therefore without any issue in mid-tower or small form factor pcs. And it does its job fine. The fact that I can wright this review right now is a testament to that, as its powering this pc. And at the Black Friday price I got it for, I cant complain. Would definitely buy again.

Have this PSU powering an Athlon II 620 processor w/ a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P mobo, an ATI X300 card and 3 HD's. My setup doesnt take too much power so cannot comment on the PSU's ability to deliver on that front. Love its modular design as it means fewer cables taking up space in the case. 'Design' of the PSU is good too, ie. it looks good in my case. Bought this off NCIX for ~50 after rebate. So for the price, its definitely a good buy.

Nice little power supply, put this in a gaming rig for a customer running a quad-core and two GTX 260 GPUs in SLI. Gotta love those modular units!

Cheap for Cx/SLI, 80 certified+ modular. This thing is heavy and huge. But still got installed in my mid-atx easily, but must be careful.

I read some bad reviews about this PSU before I made the purchase. However, my personal experience is pretty good. Easy to install and the fan is quite when the power is on. Very happy to have it in the Antec 900 case.

Connecting a hard drive, dvd drive and few fans, all i saved was 1 cable. 700 is a lot of power and they should inclue more pci-e connectors. i think it also iinclude 4pin and 8 pin power cables for cpu rather than 4+4 which could have made my case less messy

For the price getting a 700w modular PSU was surprising. I bought this to replace a 650w Coolermaster PSU that the Fan was going on. I did not have the time to pull it to pieces to repair. This PSU installed easily, and works great. Might be a little difficult for the novice to install as the manual is very poorly written. But a small price to pay for the quality and performance.
