Modular design is intuitive and very nice to have. OCZ consumer support was incredibly beneficial when I had a handful of issues (me, not the PSU) with the PSU (I was extremely tired, I'm leaving it at that). 700w gives a lot of room for adding more on to the method later. Cables are pretty short. That's what knocks an egg off. There's sufficient cables that I can set up everything that I need to have (HDD, Graphics, Fans, Bluray/DVD) devoid of any difficulty or poor cord management on the other hand. I haven't ever looked for modular cables by themselves, a long package could not be quite costly.

Fantastic value, modular style, fairly quiet when on side, cool hunting black color Power provide made a noise only when it was in the case installed following a couple of days. If I turned the case on it's side, the noise went away. Newegg took care of it by sending a replacement right away!! Wish the individual I spoke to was a bit nicer, but they took care of me so that's what seriously matters.

Brief CPU four pin cord,... the initial time i built my i hade no ability to route my cables behind the motherboard tray because of a couple of cords becoming to short to go behind my mother board tray then to there plug in spot, i hade to rebuld my laptop, i have the antec lanboyair case so i was capable to reposition my powersupply for a leading mount this solved my issue as the powersupply was closer to most plug on spots. Modular Cables for Drives.Quiet. Cost is just ideal. Not all Cables are modular. Motherboard connectors are all hard wired. With a bottom mounted PSU Case, even for an mATX case, the motherboard wires appear brief, and don't rather allow my cables to be as managed as I would like.

Fantastic power provide when it performs.Long cables with a lot of connectors. APPALLING warranty service! I have dealt with all the huge PS manufacturers for warranty support and OCZ is by far the worst! As talked about by a different poser, the RMA essential copies of receipt, serial # and shipment back ahead of a replacement would be sent which wouldn't be so undesirable but the refuse to do an RMA more than the telephone. Not much to say about power supplies aside from them being quiet and that they work. OCZ has never let me down and that trend continues with this. Would be 5 stars if the power cables were an inch or 2 longer.

Quiet PSU. The fans of my case are a lot nosier. Little bit hard to mount the PSU in my case, too tight. I have to push really hard to match the screw hole. But that could be because of my case design, not a PSU problem.For some reason, the cables come with the PSU are a little dusty. Not sure is that intentional. But I do find some grease on the cables. That is for sure a workmanship problem. Hope they will be more careful next time.I see some comments about the cables are too short. That is true, even though that does not bother me. To be fair, the cable should have no problem reaching even the top bay of a full tower case. But that is end to end length. You cannot chain up any more device in that case. So 2 SATA power cables for 2 devices only ? That's not good enough !Other then these minor issue, everything works. No problem at all.

This item is great. I don't have a thousand cords hanging in the way. Modular rules. No power complications. Rebate is a sham. I purchased this on 10ቲ񳏊, received the package immediately after the weekend. I got an e-mail from OCZ the 29th telling me how to do my rebate. They inform you have 21 days to mail the rebate. Even so, my rebate claim was declined because teh supply ended the 31st. Bought this for my friend. All I wanted was a reliable futurproof PSU, if possible cheap, quiet, modular and absolutely with 80PLUS so since it met all these requirement it was the best choice for him. No way I would have bought him a Seasonic X-750 like I have heh.
